A good way to start learning and learn how to use all the tools is to follow Neovalen's excellent SR:LE guide.

SR Conflict Resolution Patch
DanimalTwo replied to Geheiligt's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports (retired)
Just to make your aware, I have maintained a pure SR:LE install, a SR:LE install with my own mods added, a pure SR:LE - REGS install, and a SR:LE - REGS install with my own mods added. I am well versed in all the modding tools thanks to Neovalen. That said I have never learned how to do conflict resolution on my own. If you are good at it, then I would recommend a SR:LE - REGS install. I personally I have given up on REGS because while it says it is compatible with STEP and SR:LE, the truth is that Nearox retired from Skyrim for Elder Scrolls Online (ESO). It seems he has sense returned though I do not know in what capacity. CJ never had a SR:LE build to my knowledge, so Nearox was responsible for SR:LE compatibility. If you look the page has not been updated since June 13th (a life time in the computer/internet age), but SR:LE has and continues to under go major changes. For REGS it is easy to keep up with the latest version of STEP as it is largely static. That however, is not true for SR:LE. Therefore, unless you have to know how to identify and resolve conflicts between SR:LE and REGS, I would avoid it for now. By the way, you would probably find more help in the REGS forum. EDIT: Tried to fix grammar and context. -

DROPPED BOSS Userlist Manager (by Surazal)
DanimalTwo replied to Bealdwine's question in Other Utilities Support
When using BUM first run BOSS, that downloads the latest Masterlist. You should be using BOSS 2.3.0. What should concern you are the mods BOSS considers UnRecognised Plugins. For these you will need to create BUM rules. BUM expects you to enter the full name of the ESP/ESM you are using for a rule spelled correctly with esp/esm extention. Ultimate HD Candle Flames is an optional under Ultimate HD Fire Effects which does not have an ESP. It consists of textures and meshes only. Therefore you cannot use that to create a rule. The actual rule you seek is given in Neovalen's excellent SR:LE guide and can be found here. -

I will be quitting SR:LE or Skyrim Modding in general until all issues with MO have been resolved. I am not willing to upgrade to what seems to be a WIP (MO not SR:LE). I have full faith that you will navigate us through these troubled times. -

Should you not say this in your guide. If you keep using it until an alternative comes along maybe it should be stated in your guide rather then completely removing it. For people who follow your guide religiously, raise your hand (raises hand), this might not be clear. Right now, I plan on keeping it unless your advise otherwise. But others may not have seen this post. -

For Better Shaped Weapons (BSW) I found these instructions confusing: Stalhrim x2 I initially thought I should be selecting 2k textures. I think 'Stalhrim (both)' would be clearer. Maybe it is just me. -
SKYRIMLE Better Dwemer Spider Textures (by Naitrii)
DanimalTwo replied to egocarib's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
While the textures are a definite improvement, in the last set of images, what looks like a turn screw on the left side of the spider doesn't seem attached to anything. -

CJ2311 is there any time frame of when the REGS - SRLE Special Instructions & Compatibility Guide will reflect the current state of SR-LE? -
ERROR: Exception: failed to change virtual protection
DanimalTwo replied to Banchou's question in Mod Organizer Support
First thoughts: You say you have Mod Organizer (MO) installed at But your log files says it is installed at Do you have multiple versions of MO installed and are you using the one you think you are? -

Wow, Neovalen, you made my do a lot of work just to keep up with the merging and all. The saving of ESP slots is much appreciated though. Thanks. -

SRLE requires a certain ESP order for your TES5Edits to work as anticipated and "SR Conflict Resolution.esp" to work correctly. Until such time the SRLE supports LOOT, you probably should stick to BOSS and Boss Userlist Manager (BUM). After all the sort order for BUM is provided for in the guide. -

Looking up 7950, I assume you have 3 GB VRAM, that should be sufficient. What are your settings in enblocal.ini and what does your MemoryBlocksLogs.log show (I am assuming you installed Sheson's mod). The log file can be found in your "MO/overwrite/SKSE/Plugins" directory. -

You don't say what you system specs are. But first thoughts are you may not have the equipment to run full SR-LE. You may have to select lower resolulution textures. -

It is part of the REGS guide which is meant to be compatible with STEP and SR-LE which answers your question whether there are major conflicts and issues. The answer is yes there is a conflict between Better Fast Travel and Touring Carriages, thus you cannot use both. You should be ok to use Better Fast Travel is it part of REGS which by design is compatible SR-LE and meant to be modular thus you can mostly pick and choose which mods of REGS you wish to include. You will have to fix your "SR Conflict Resolution.esp" patch as it contains records for Touring Carriages. If you don't, you will have missing masters. -

I think you will find your answer in the REGS guide located here. Here is what it says: I take that to mean user one or the other, but not both. -

It looks like you have nothing out of the ordinary for your SKSE.ini and modlist.txt. You are running mods similar to my SR-LE plus my own mods. I do run multiple profiles and keep them separate. For example, I have a SR-LE profile, a SR-LE profile that include my own mods (that includes all your extras), a SR-LE & REGS profile, and a SR-LE & REGS plus my own mods. I would recommend doing the same. That said you plugin.txt would be more helpful. If you have not done so already, install Sheson's Memory Blocks Log mod. This will tell you if you are running out of memory or if his memory patch is running correctly. Install like any other mod using MO, the log file can be found in your overwrite directory under "MO/overwrite/SKSE/Plugins/MemoryBlocksLog.log". This will tell you if you are running out of memory. The log will look something like this and then a list of numbers. If either value is exceeded, you will experience a CTD or game freeze. -

Freezes are hard to diagnose. The first thing the comes to mind is whether or not you installed SKSE correctly and whether you have the proper settings in your SKSE.ini. Common problems are not creating the SKSE in your "MO/mods/<what ever you called your SKSE directory>/SKSE" correctly. If you have Windows set to not show file extensions, you may have inadvertently created a SKSE.ini.txt file instead of SKSE.ini. Your content in the file may be incorrect. If you are looking for help, you need to post more info, for example your SKSE.ini file, your mod load order (modlist.txt), and your plugin order (plugins.txt). These files can be found in your "MO/profiles/<where ever you called your profile>/" directory. Use spoiler tags when posting large lists. -

Neovalen there is a small error in your guide for the Falskaar - Climates of Tamriel Patch. The instructions say not to install the fomod folder, however, there is no fomod folder in the latest patch. -

Yes should be safe deactivating them. You can also go to the mods install directory and delete them. It is up to you. -

You should have installed TES5Edit not using MO. Where did you install it? Are MO and TES5Edit both set to run as admin? Follow Neovalen's guide for setting up BOSS, BASH, BUM, etc. The process is the same for TES5Edit. -

Not sure if by default your BSAs get extracted with MO 1.2.1. If they do that is what happened. I have MO set to always extract the BSAs into loose files, therefore I don't have any BSAs. -
