1. I have never experienced this 'vampire face tint issue' myself and in fact never even read this thread until today. Is this still an ongoing issue? Are MO handled BSAs still giving @Arthmoor conniptions?
2. Just an update on this matter. There is an open issue report on the Bug Genie for this and @Tannin seems to have pinpointed the area that needs attention, however it will remain as it is until his new VFS library is created.
3. If you have already made a mod from the overwrite folder the new patch just replaces that plugin.
4. OMG what a dog's breakfast of an archive. I have not used this mod, but based on the format inside the archive, I'm only looking at the preview in Nexus, not the actual file, it would like you will need to drill down to the exact texture style for both male and female and set those as the top level, or 'Data'. You can do that with MO by dragging the selected folders to the FAR folder and unselecting everything else and then set that FAR folder as 'Data'. Each option starts with the 'Texture' folder and that should be directly below the 'Data'. folder.
5. Every setting in MO is either a folder or a text file. Moving these simply means some editing or renaming. The wiki explains all of this and you should probably familiarise yourself with it.
6. Or you could just post your log and ask about what you think is wrong.
7. @pStyl3 What actually happens in that instance, at least regarding the issue I linked to, is the subsequent reports are for the previous run.
8. If you already have made a patch using a ReProccer, e.g. DSR, and that plugin is part of a mod that is active in the VFS, the new patch will be found in that mod and not in the 'Overwrite' folder. The only things that do show up in 'Overwrite' are the "SkyProc Patchers" folder and all its sub-folders including a whole lot of text files used during creation of the new patch. All of those files can safely be removed.
9. You cannot install mods directly into the data folder AND use MO. Doing so will cause problems that will make any support offered useless.
10. There is also a possiblity that you, like a small number of users, are experiencing a very rare bug that stops WB from showing the correct report. Would you mind posting the paths to all the relevant tools: MO, WB, etc. and also the browser and its version that you use? You can do so in this thread or preferably in this one.
11. Okay we will need a couple of points clarified. What are you saying here? Is your 'fix' made by installing the mod outside of the MO environment? If so MO will not see it and that 'fix' will not be applied to your mod. What mods and which files aren't being applied to the game? Since you have stated you are new to MO, it is more than likely you may not be aware of how the installed mods are handled in the left-hand pane. The wiki explains all of this but basically the lower the mod is, (ie. the higher the priority number) those files will win in a conflict. If the mod(s) in question here are losing in their conflict then the game won't 'see' them and they won't exist in the VFS. Can you paste your modlist and plugin order either in
text
tags, or a link to PasteBin or similar?
12. Ha! Yeah when you have a spare 5 minutes why not whip a couple of batch files that can download all these mods, install them via MO, activate the correct options and remove any crud, test your setup, and then finalize your install by posting all your load order and modlists to ModWatch, run a thorough benchmark and post a few screenshots to highlight the awesomeness of the finished product. Seriously, you guys, @EssArrBee & @Kelmych, deserve far more praise than you get. After installing both these guides I can attest that they are carefully put together works of genius. Kudos to the both of you.
13. Manually doesn't mean "into the data folder directly". It just means you need to either remove the scripts used by the installer or run the exe installer from inside MO or repackage the archive. I understand your frustration with your messed up load order but it isn't MO that did that.
14. I am amazed at the number of these queries over the last few weeks. Perhaps all the guides should have a section on disabling this MO tool so as to avoid this?
15. This should be the same for all the guides, IMHO. The amount of confusion generated by those obscure and often unwarranted suggestions is amazing.
16. You can install a mod that needs FOMM by running it via MO. Other mods that might be a problem to install can also be changed to work inside MO. Upshot is never have mods in tha data folder AND via MO. Also there are users here on STEP currently installing TTW that don't have to do what you are describing. Have look around here and see if you can pick up their hints.
17. What about the Case Examples?
18. As has been mentioned many times before, this is still in beta so take these things with a 'grain of salt'. Three options, disregard it or shift it manually or allow MO to 'Fix it'. Personally I would move the last mod around and see what changes, the code is circular so moving just one mod often resolves the 'problem'. If that one mod doesn't fix things, move to the next. Since this (your issue) is specific to PerMa, you could also try moving just that mod around.
19. The description page says Animated Weapon Enchants by Vysh is include in Enchanted Arsenal. Looking at the two together, EA has added NO Sound versions of all the effects that AWE provides. Instead of the NPCDragonFlybySD [sNDR:0003E491] mentioned above, the no sound versions use MAGEnchantedUnsheatheOther [sNDR:001037D8]. Is using a larger mod, just because it contains a possible fix to an already installed mod the best option? What about all the extra stuff? Is that needed?
20. I'm not sure if this is clear to you or not, its so hard to tell with new MO users, but the order the plugins are in the left-hand pane isn't really an issue as these are sorted correctly in the right-hand pane, as they would in any other mod manager. The only caveat to this, is when that specific plugin exists in 2 or more mods, as is the case with the cleaned/dirty DLCs. Then it DOES make a difference where they ordered in the left-hand pane. So, you could, if you were so inclined, have your left pane ordered this way: 5 unmanaged Dawnguard \ 7 DawnguardOpt |- This order is important because of the *.DDS files (optomised or not) in these mods, so too for the next sets of mods. 8 unofficial Dawnguard / 9 unmanaged Hearthfires 11 HearthfiresOpt 12 unofficial Hearthfires 13 unmanaged Dragonborn 15 DragonbornOpt 16 unofficial Dragonborn 14 cleaned Dragonborn 10 cleaned Hearthfires 6 cleaned Dawnguard This would still work since the cleaned DLC are only overwriting the ESMs from the vanilla DLCs. The right-hand pane will take these cleaned ESMs and order them correctly, all the left-hand pane is tell MO which plugins or assets are AVAILABLE to use. In this case the dirty ones lose and clean ones, although looking jumbled, will be sorted correctly in game by their position in the right-hand pane. I hope that doesn't confuse the issue. I only mention it because I got the inkling that there was a misunderstanding in what is important regarding order of these mods.
21. I believe that is something to do with the Skyrim engine bugging out when the monitor Hz and the game frame rate is too high. There are some ini settings to cap your frame rate at 60FPS to avoid this. I don't experience this, as my machine's specs attest, so I haven't paid too much attention. i'm sure most of the others here will be able to fill you in as to what fixes this.
22. Try changing the position of any mod that affects sound, or ensure they are configured correctly.
23. Are those keys remapped by another mod? Also I don't think you are missing anything by not being able to quicksave/load. I'm fairly sure there are save game corruption issues when the same savegame is overwritten as with autosaves and quicksaves, not 100% sure, but I do recall reading somewhere about that.
24. @Lonewolf I am staggered Italy is not on the list.
