  1. I'm checking whether the weapons are part of the HAR, too.
  2. Hey, I have a quick question. I want to deactivate the Duke Patrick - Heavy weapons combat esp for a new playthrough. Is this enough for the added scripts to not effect anything in the game? I guess so, but I just want to make sure. I just found out, that I don't really want to re- and deinstall it every time i change playthroughs...
  3. One epic moment for me was today, when I scanned the UESP and through sheer coincidence landed on the page of the atronarch forge. I never even new sth like that existed!!! Holy ... maybe because I never even thought about doing a wizard only playthrough...
  4. Now, THAT would be awesome.
  5. weird. I installed hearthfire and had no issues whatsoever on a vanilla install. Then I installed USKP Skyrim/Dawnguard and Hearthfire and had issues with CTDs. Then I downloaded all of the newest non-beta-version USKPs and tadaaa: no ctd, everything from hearthfire works beautifully.
  6. Awww, I hoped we'ld fight the aldmeri dominion in the next DLC. I'ld definitely take the newly modded companion valfar with me then :D
  7. deactivate hearthfire.esm and go back to a savegame previous to your application of hearthfire to your skyrim install.
  8. Just because this post caught my attention: I tested every possible setting and combination for lod-bias and actual z-fighting was NOT affected at all. It was quite funny to play skyrim with an LOD-Bias set to +3.00 I can recommend to try it. It's 100% anti-step, but very funny. Edit: If anybody cares enough, I added a video of my testing [video=youtube]www.youtube.com/watch?v=cAVG5JXKoDY
  9. Are you sure you're talking about z-fighting and not about texture shimmering/aliasing?
  10. Not my most glorious playthrough, but fine enough for a low chaos one :D Finished at last. now getting some hours of sleep before tomorrow/in 6 hours my university starts :D Edit: Only 12 hours of gameplay. Not very much at all.
  11. Just installed Dishonored on my rig. I'm a big fan of Assassin's Creed (Assassins in general actually ;D). Anybody else who went for it?
  12. It's what all of us have to do, too. Unfortunately.
  13. OK, new version up. Changelog:
  14. Well, maybe they are high-quality shiny silk carpets? Skyrim might be richer as on might think :D
  15. Absolutely, fri. Also, don't you ever "piece together" your ini. Just don't. It might work or it might not work but if you ever want a real playthrough of Skyrim, don't use ini-tweaks which you haven't analyzed and tested for yourself, or which are widely recommended and analyzed by e.g. STEP or the Skyrim Tweaking Guide by nVidia. Just out of pure curiosity, do you have any problems with z-fighting, have you used z-fighting tweaks? If so, which did you use? Have you tried to zone in and out of interiors? Have you encountered exceptionally long loading times? Are you using Open Cities?
  16. Ok, I just downloaded Hearthfire, hopefully it won't break anything.
  17. You do know that you need the master file and one esp activated...?
  18. OK, are you running any kind of overlay? e.g. msi afterburner or sth like it? that causes crashes. Afaik, your specific crash is most probably related to a missing master esp/esm in your load order. Check your load order for any unfulfilled requirements.
  19. dunno but 12 MB seems preeetty big.
  20. what's the size of your savegame-file? enable papyrus logging and play for 15 minutes and see, whether there are some errors which jump out to you.
  21. [video=youtube] next one out [video=youtube]
  22. Well, maybe Arthmoor can explain why he's done so?
  23. By the sheer amount or by sth else? If you ever have the time to do some extensive testing on what works with what and how good/better they are compared to another, let us know :D
  24. I usually play with open cities, but since my newest install I go 100% on stability.
