well i currently track 390 mods (all of the mods i've ever been interested in and downloaded). to get my NMM tracker up to date has lasted me right know 2 hours due to crippled nexus servers.

is nexus currently down? i only get "Fatal error: Call to a member function SetLocal() on a non-object in /home/skyrim/public_html/Core/BBoC.pinc on line 3299"

well as you can see in the second log, there is no error or anything reported by papyrus. the game just crashes instantly to desktop. well, at least the logging feature doesn't mention the problem. i'm not sure whether this is a vanilla or USKP problem but it kinda gets on my nerves. i lost 45 minutes of gaming (selling and upgrading and buying etc.) because of this stupid bug.

Well, I can probably tell you, cuz I have a GTX 570 SLI setup. If you read through some of the threads I have started in the support and troubleshooting section you'll notice that I have had quite a lot of issues. First of all: sli does not boost your performance in skyrim by as much as it does in other games, and it will most probably not reduce lag/stutter for you. Skyrim does not work very well with SLI and there are many many many problems which can occur. For more details see this thread: https://forum.step-project.com/showthread.php?tid=629 If I were you I'ld buy ONE card with at least 2GB VRAM and reasonable speed which is easy to overclock (not necessarily for skyrim) and sell my old one for as much cash as it will give me. It's up to you whether you stick to GeForce or Radeon, I'ld recommend GeForce though.

Hi guys, who of you has ever been a vampire in default skyrim? Me? Never. Somehow I rarely got the vampiric disease and if I did, it wouldn't last seconds before I downed a curing potion. All I ever heard of being a vampire in skyrim is that it sucks. So, I'm trying to make my game as addictive as it can get and I'm going to create a character that will complete all the quests, ransack all the dungeons, kill everybody and anything that's somehow in my way of being the most powerful person that one can be in skyrim. Therefore I need to become a vampire, to get the quest to get cured of vampirism. Simple. But I don't want to run to the quest giver asap to get to the end of that quest asafp and leave vampirism behind me asamfp without having enjoyed being a badass bloodsucker. This mod might help with optimizing my future vampire life by a lot: https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9717 Enough storytelling. I'll try to test this mod myself as soon as I can find the time, but that won't be soon unfortunately. What I like about this mod is that it works with vanilla skyrim alone and is dawnguard compatible. This mod enhances gameplay for vampires and is very customizable. This fits STEP pretty well. Since it has a 5 month developping history and is still very supported by the mod author and it covers a part of skyrim no other included mods have touched so far I think it's a great candidate for adding to the mix. Plus it's very compatible at least as far as the author states. If anybody has the time and will to do some testing they are very welcome. it'll take me a while to finish all the testing I want and do all the playing i want...

nexus is always slow but mostly works for me (germany). don't know, but maybe the major amount of users access mods at the US-afternoon-to-late-evening-time. this might additionally slow down speed for you.

New update came out and water is not going to be supported anymore or not as much as before. as i said in a other thread: pure waters is a good alternative although it misses some of the features WATER covers.

hey guys, i started a new playthrough and added several new mods recently. somehow the bannered mare has it's spanish name: "La ....." weird, since i play in english and didn't install anything which alters whiterun. i did install better map markers though. is this caused by that?
