TES5Edit - Which record types DON'T need conflict patches
EssArrBee replied to keithinhanoi's topic in xEdit
Read the last paragraph of the quote you posted. You can't access certain places. Honestly, I don't think people knew what was causing the bug. I always thought those places would get cutoff from the player because people had nav mesh data overwriting itself. It's easy to use TES5Edit with all the mods loaded. Plus, the records show up with either red text or back ground if they are in conflict so you don't have to go through every Worldspace record. That would take until next week to finish.- 69 replies

TES5Edit - Which record types DON'T need conflict patches
EssArrBee replied to keithinhanoi's topic in xEdit
You need to make sure the DB MHDT is in the last column of the Worldspace->0000003C record. Just drag and drop it to your last loading plugin with that record. Also, forward any other records the same way if there are conflicts.- 69 replies

DROPPED Soul Gems Differ - Full and Empty (by Utopolyst)
EssArrBee replied to stoppingby4now's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
They're good. I feel like I'm purposely looking for things to do other than finishing stuff I need to do with the 2.2.9 patches using LOOT. -

For some reason the two petty soul gem entries for German are "Soul Gem I: Kleiner" instead of "Seelenstein I: Kleiner". Didn't see anything else wrong with the plugins. I'd do the WizBAIN, but I'm a little busy with other stuff. -
SOLVED: Unofficial Skyrim Patches breaking Vampire Body/Face Textures
EssArrBee replied to Kuldebar's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Even with the comment he made, does that mean that the error is there for users that don't have Dawnguard? What if you use only the regular game and install USKP? You are just stuck with the bad facegen data or is that it is actually okay with vanilla Skyrim and not okay with Dawnguard? That is just as confusing as some of the BSA ordering. -
Ramifications of BSA Extraction in Mod Organizer
EssArrBee replied to z929669's question in Mod Organizer Support
And UHRP also has a dummy plugin which means that the BSA can load and still overwrite lower priority mods and we do not lose a plugin slot. Also, Klemych brought up a good point about the DATA folder BSAs and the UPP BSAs priority. That needs to be sorted out or it could be an issue. -
SOLVED: Unofficial Skyrim Patches breaking Vampire Body/Face Textures
EssArrBee replied to Kuldebar's question in General Skyrim LE Support
That is a valid concern with the way that BSAs load from the time that the UPPs switched to false flagged esms to load in a better order. You know it would be nice if we could have Legendary Edition plugin. I know that they are against it for a few good reasons, but why can't we get both? -
See, I thought you were born inside the Creation Kit and Morpheus had to disconnect you so that you could remake Skyrim for the better. I know the procedure Kuldebar laid out works because I made a small pack with DCO and Alternate Start and it had the bug every time for the first dragon in the game.

MO has the amount of of plugins in the priority column and the hex number of activated plugins in the mod index column under the plugins tab. Google converts hex.

Ramifications of BSA Extraction in Mod Organizer
EssArrBee replied to z929669's question in Mod Organizer Support
It isn't USKP either it is the CK that randomly changes tint layers when they compile the plugin. -
You need to get the bug first before you apply the script so you can load up the save and see if it is fixed.
-
Wait you actually play skyrim?!?!? O.o
-
Can someone please get a dragon to bug out, load this up, and see if the dragon is gone?
-
Yeah, but I think it is more than you'll ever have to worry about.
-
Not if you check the BSAs in the archive tab.
-
If this works I might actually have to start playing Skyrim again. That was one of the most annoying bugs because the stupid dragon would get caught in the door for Whiterun and you couldn't get out of the city. I'll add it to the STEP plugins on the next update if it works. I don't think anyone should have a problem with mod going into testing. We just need one member to confirm it works.

Try it now. Thanks for finding that.

DROPPED Soul Gems Differ - Full and Empty (by Utopolyst)
EssArrBee replied to stoppingby4now's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Worked for me. I'm going to have to learn that or someone should do a wiki page for it. Hey so what type of permission do you have for this mod? And what other mods do you permission to upload files for so I can see if they need updating? Asking for that other project we started behind the scenes. -
Soon.

Ramifications of BSA Extraction in Mod Organizer
EssArrBee replied to z929669's question in Mod Organizer Support
Not sure what you talking about. SSD vs HD, obviously SSD is faster, but once you get to DRAM all the up the ladder to registers that wouldn't even matter. If you are talking about retrieving data from disk memory then you add like 5 clock cycles for decompression if it is considered native. I'm assuming that the Creation Engine has native support for decomp on Bethesda Software Archives, so the difference is negligible. It used to be something we worried about with Oblivion because it was single core dependent, but with multi-core support there is no longer a need to worry about the difference. -
2.2.8 is setup for BOSS and will not be changed to LOOT. 2.2.9 will be set up for LOOT and we will include instructions for using the user list manager. To be honest I haven't done any 2.2.8 housekeeping in months. To busy with F&LNV and 2.2.9 plus some secret project(s?).

EssArrBee replied to z929669's question in Mod Organizer Support
The only time we extract a BSA is if we need a lower priority BSA. Then we could hide the extracted file(s) as needed. Also, texture optimization, but we can get around that by uploading pre-opted BSAs. -

If Z figures out the localization thing then we will only need four plugins and your FOMOD will be much smaller. Well, other than the many many folders of textures. -
You need to use the one above yes. EDIT: Had to retype that since I didn't read the question correctly.
