As I said in that thread, unfortunately there isn't much we can do about that. I'll add a note to the mod.

DROPPED Terrain Bump - Texture Pack (by SparrowPrince)
Farlo replied to z929669's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Then why is there a Nexus link.Because it did work at one point. I'm not sure why the mod's been pulled down, I guess we'll have to wait and hear from SparrowPrince. -
Marking this for testing, we don't have anything that makes these bland textures any better.

ACCEPTED Improved Horse Step Sounds (by Crystan)

Rootsrat, did you ever get around to testing this? I think it's worth some thought, looks pretty good. -

I agree, we probably should have found a way to put up a bigger notice. I also made the mistake of thinking we were done when the old host refreshed our bandwidth limit for the month. Hopefully it doesn't have to happen again any time soon but if it does, now we know :P

I'm getting turned around in the Wrye Bash guide
Farlo replied to LynziRaeighn's question in Wrye Bash Support
What file is missing? It should say in the "Missing" tab. Most of the time you can fix this by right-clicking the top bar and selecting "Anneal all". Another thing to do is restart WB so that it can refresh its cache. The cache can also get screwed up if you manually edit, add, or remove a file in the Data folder instead of doing it through WB. If nothing else, uninstall the mod, delete the files, re-download them, and try again. WB also works a lot better if you package all the mods into archives through WB (right-click -> "Pack to archive"), it makes the caching process a hell of a lot faster. -

DROPPED Closer Quivers and Longer Arrows (by EvilDeadAsh34)
Farlo replied to stoppingby4now's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I downloaded the archive again and in game both dlcs are definitely active. Its still not detecting. Good thing it can be done manually, but you might want to instruct users to do it manually if it doesn't auto detect. You should also mention the need for EBV and others to be fully installed in the wizard and not just on the mod page here. -
Yup. Using Firefox 19 if it makes a difference. I guess I'll try later tonight. I always try to enter these blasted things whenever I see them, but I've never won anything. Probably because everyone else does as well.

DROPPED Closer Quivers and Longer Arrows (by EvilDeadAsh34)
Farlo replied to stoppingby4now's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I have both Dawnguard and Dragonborn ESMs installed and enabled but the Wizard didn't find either. It also didn't recognize EBV, but that might depend on Dawnguard. -
DROPPED Not Another Colored Map Icon Mod (by Shiva64)
Farlo replied to Farlo's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Awesome, thanks for the update! I'll update the Wiki. -
I can't scroll down to sign up or anything, it's just an image clipped at the bottom.

150 FPS at 1080 with all the AA!? That's nuts! I wonder if Extreme STEP and an ENB could even pull that down to 100.
-
Fixed these, thanks for reporting!
-
I had a hunch that was the problem. You should report this to the mod author and check to see if anyone else has had the same problem. I've been using the mod for a while without issue however, so I'm not sure why it's not working for you.

Game crashing at launch.. help please
Farlo replied to miseryguts's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Thanks for the quick reply, can you tell me how I run BOSS through the MM please?By "MM" do you mean NMM (Nexus Mod Manager)? If so, you can just install BOSS and run it normally. However, I highly recommend you take the time to learn either Wrye Bash or Mod Organizer, both are much more powerful than NMM and give you greater control over Skyrim, making it easier to change and update mods as well as diagnose problems. -
Game crashing at launch.. help please
Farlo replied to miseryguts's question in General Skyrim LE Support
An immediate CTD may also point to a problem with the ESP load order. Try disabling a few ESPs at a time until the game starts and and then boil it down from there. Also make sure you're running BOSS through your mod manager. -
ACCEPTED Static Mesh Improvement Mod - SMIM (by Brumbek)
Farlo replied to z929669's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
"Default" refers to the default option selection when using the WB Wizard or FOMOD Installer. If you're installing the mod manually (STEP highly recommends using either Wrye Bash or Mod Organizer), the corresponding folders are: 00 Core01 Furniture02 SMIM Barrel Textures Animation03 Food04 Farmhouse 3D Ropes No Fade (Best)05 Misc 3D Rings06 Signs 3D Rings07 Whiterun 3D Rings08 Pull Lever 3D Rings09 Dwemer Clutter10 Nordic Tables and Benches11 Bridges12 Whiterun Doors13 Lanterns14 Stockade 3D Ropes15 Clothing Fixes16 Tankard Dark (Closer to Vanilla)17 Nordic Catacombs Skeletal Remains18 Farmhouse Woven Fence Dense26 Human Skull Fixes30 Rocks - Generic31 Rocks - Blackbeach -
I'd start with the Gameplay section and work your way back, although I guess it doesn't really matter, I have no idea what might be causing it. You shouldn't need to clean the save every time, but if you're concerned about that then start a new game without any mods and enable some until the issue returns. Live Another Life helps a lot with this since it'll let you skip the whole Helgen bit.
-
The first thing to do is to disable a few mods at a time until it stops and then see if you can boil it down to one mod causing the problems.

That totally makes sense, I guess it depends on how much info we eventually get out there. Brainstorming the FAQ will likely help us figure out how many subcategories we have and how many pages we'll need.
