  1. Almost makes me want to try an Argonian. Plus the author is working on further improvements. One to track.
  2. Glad to hear you have sorted out one problem but only to encounter another. Well I think that guy was "as fearless in death as he was in life" so it seems he is not willing to give up too easily. Good luck
  3. Haha. I had forgotten about "create food and water" Oh those were the days. LOL. Now I'm showing my full 86 years. Yes, you got me out of the survival mods and I haven't looked back. I do like HB because it isn't so much survival as immersion. My mouse finger wavered over FNV for a considerable time during the steam sales. But having played it recently on PS3 I couldn't justify the time I knew it would suck away from everything else. Not to even mention the modding addiction! I've decided I am not going to mod any other game other than Skyrim! I spend more time modding than playing. It's like OCD. I read today on ETaC that Noobzor has ditched all his hires texture mods. I couldn't imagine it. I look at something, anything, and think that's not right, there must be a mod that can fix / change the colour / enhance it, etc. Sure enough there always is....
  4. The New Vigil author posted a reply that he spoke with you and he is happy with the ideas and will send me a PM to discuss further. I agree, I think it needs streamlining and more direction. I'll keep you posted. There was a comment in HN&SV (mouthful) that his little villages are too sprawling and are more like towns. This is a bit of a deal breaker for me otherwise Skyrim will become one endless village. It doesn't take long to move from end of the map to the other as it is. That's why I like Inns and Taverns so much. Small, quaint and keeping in character with environment. I have all of 13oranges mods (as any good STEP user would) but have only been to a few locations. I liked his Lainterdale but couldn't do much there. I kept thinking I was missing something. Although there was a massive ongoing bandit attack (thanks OBIS) and maybe some of the dialogue options were closed. I thought there should have been a quest. And the mod which has the bandits in the cellar was a little glitchy - but a nice idea. I've disabled them all for the time being as I'm trying to get into MannyGT's quests without the distraction. But have ended up doing 2 playthroughs testing the Hunterborn betas instead!
  5. Nicely researched. I too am tracking TES Arena Frontier. Let me know when you do that patch and I'll gladly check it for you :) I noticed the author of Hroldan Nightgate commented on ETaC and in general avoids conflict with ETaC and IS as a rule.
  6. So how'd the trip go and more importantly how is the new little box coming along?
  7. Thanks for the quick response. Inns and Taverns is one of my favourite mods and has saved my neck a number of times when caught in a blizzard. Plus it fits in extremely well with the Skyrim environment - like it should have been there in the vanilla game. So it's never moving from my load order and I will pass on the other two for now. Oh and The New Vigil mod author has responded, which is nice.
  8. With the new ETaC IS merger there has been a bit of talk about other mods and compatibility and so forth. Does anyone know how these work with REGS? I handn't heard of them before but they do look interesting. I'm thinking conflict could arise from Inns and Taverns and Unique Border Gates. Thanks TES_Arena_Skyrim_Frontier_Fortress Hroldan_Nightgate and Sawmill Villages
  9. I didn't think you could do the vanilla start if you are using LAL? More importantly, why would you :) sorry I know I'm not being helpful....
  10. Good suggestion. I just posted a comment on his mod page.
  11. Thanks Gandaganza. It's a shame really because I think the VoS is such an untapped area. They could have been really cool. But Bethesda decided to make the Dawnguard their spiritual successor. Don't get me wrong I like the DG but the quest line is too linear and becomes a grind after a while. The VoS and their Daedra hatred has so much potential (instead of just vampires). I can walk up to the VoS brimming with Daedric artefacts and they don't even comment (let alone attack me outright). It would be great to hunt down all the Daedric artefacts and return them to the VoS and climb up their ranks to Keeper. Plus killing numerous abominations, cults, etc along the way. The quest lines could be numerous and incredibly varied. It wouldn't even need much voice acting - just tie in the vanilla game elements. Oh well. I can only dream....
  12. Has anyone tried The_New_Vigil ? It looks quite promising but I am wondering if there is any conflict with REGS? The images don't show where the new buildings are but the description puts them close to the cities.
  13. Great to see that Ongmunds Tomb and Windcallers Pass have been added to the guide. I still haven't played Predrags third dungeon yet. I'll add it to my growing list of mods to complete.
  14. Yes, I saw yesterday that the original mod author (Siraleth??) has returned and will take over EWDR again. So the mod author who was caretaking the mod removed all their files. I checked again today to fact check the names but everything is hidden again, so my apologies if I sound vague.
  15. Thanks for posting the update. Jaderoyale has been busy
  16. I've never had this problem until I started using a bashed patch. Now I have two naked NPC's (Ralof and Ulfberth). I just enable the console and "resetinventory" and they are back to normal - except Ulfberth's shoes but that's another story.
  17. In answer to your original question. Is it possible to do both? Create a new mod page and perhaps at a later stage (after any bugs) add it to TCIS. This would allow the best of both worlds. BTW I think this is an excellent concept. I'll be interested to see how you direct vampire aligned players to Dimhollow.
  18. I only view articles when I click on the files tab by mistake :( To be honest I always forget to check there. But when I do I almost always read the articles listed.
  19. I'm fine that degradation only applies to tempering. I think it is more realistic that way. A steel sword isn't going to break but it will lose it's edge quite significantly in battle I would expect. I always imagine a warrior would sharpen their weapon when relaxing around the fire. But there is only so much you can do with a whet stone in the wild. Axes with wooden handles would be a different story and I guess they could break in combat. At the default non-tempered level I personally think it should be an all or nothing affair if a weapon breaks . i.e. one hit it's fine, the next it breaks and is useless.
  20. Would it be possible to add a door in the Blue Palace that would link to the bookstore. That way it would be like an exclusive library? Or just change the Nernie's bookstore interior to the new more functional one?
  21. I've been using Leazers Open Lock for a while now. Works perfectly and I enjoy the glowing animation around the door or chest when cast. Spell books are required for each level; novice, apprentice, etc. the higher level spell opens all lower level locks as well. A copy of the novice spell book is placed in Helgen next to the dead Mage for anyone doing the vanilla start.
  22. Thanks for the merge mod update. Wow, you'll finish up with only a handful of esp's soon! I bought a nearly dozen games on the Steam sale and so far haven't played any. Not enough time for them AND Skyrim. I'm also at the stage of reducing my mods. Thinking about starting from scratch with MO.
  23. Have you played Pedgrag's other 2 dungeons yet? I completed Windcallers_Pass last night. I really like his designs. The only downside to me (which can be overlooked) is that the main treasure was too OP. But on the whole very nicely done with a good story like Ogmunds Tomb. BTW I merged his 3 dungeon mods into 1 esp (without unpacking) and so far no problems.
  24. I disagree. This isn't a push for endorsement it is a reminder to endorse. I've been reminded of a couple of mods I thought I had endorsed but must have slipped through the cracks. It is just as easy to hit ignore as it is too endorse so I don't see the problem.
  25. I know people have been trying to download the updated Immersive College of Winterhold for 3 days! I dl'd last night with no problems. Someone else commented that they have premium as well and had no problems. Don't know if that is part of the issue or not.
