SKYRIMLE A Matter of Time - A HUD clock widget (by SkyAmigo)
Teabag86 replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Hmm. I stopped using AMOT as nowadays I tell the time by the sun. I guess that is how they used to do it in the day. It is in fact easy to do and I am generally accurate within 30 minutes. Although it is possible to tell the time with the night sky I haven't bothered to work it out yet. Oh and if you don't use the compass - which I don't - Hunterborn has a sense direction lesser power which is much more immersive. Helps to tell whether you are facing east or west :) -
This might assist in finding a voice actor. People have commented that a good voice actor will provide their files in a format ready to insert into the game. Don't know if this is actually the case or not. Cheers https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/951656-the-voice-actors-of-skyrim-nexus/

ACCEPTED Realistic HD Baskets (by Halk_Hogan_PL)
Teabag86 replied to oqhansoloqo's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Just wondering if the issue raised by Nazenn on the Nexus will cause problems -
I do like Gamwich's explanation as to why the bones are so old. Perhaps everyone knew this already but it wasn't something that I had considered previously. "Aldiun is like a necromancer in that he reanimates the long dead dragons from their corpses lying in their burial mounds. Only their skeletons remained. By performing his ritual, Alduin binds the soul of the dragon with its corpse and magically the flesh is restored. When the Dovahkiin kills a dragon, it lies intact until he/she absorbs the dragon soul, which breaks the spell and the flesh burns off in a conflagration. What's left is the state the dragon was in originally.... an ancient skeleton"

pack Immersive Survival (by tehherb)

It means that the patch can be merged into your bashed patch. When you rebuild your bashed patch it will ask if you want to merge it. Yes you do :) -
Thanks for the link. Just read in the comments that voice acting is being worked on....

@cstarkey I agree with what you say. I also think Chesko and Isoku copped it the most because they were the ones sent over the trenches first. They were put forward as the figureheads of paid modding like it was their idea. I've donated to both of them. I don't say this to big note myself, only that it might influence others to do the same if they are sitting on the fence. For what it's worth I've decided that every month I'll be making donations to different mod authors. They could be new or old mod authors that I'd like to show my appreciation for. Sort of my own system in the absence of anything else.

Will this never end. This whole situation $#*@#@ me off to no end

Hmm, not sure who you are referring to here. But I have the greatest respect for the mod authors who listed their mods for sale. You only have to read Beths blog today to see the vision they were aspiring to. Under certain circumstances it could work and be better for the entire community. In reality it was a disaster mainly due to the lack of ANY direction and communication with the community. These mod authors - who in some cases are the best we have - have been thrown to the wolves. This to me is the saddest part of this whole sordid affair.

Honestly I am at a loss for words. I've tried to type this message for 10 minutes. Talk about taking a wrecking ball to the community. Tantrums, fights, name calling, walk outs, leaving top modders to be crucified and twist in the wind, splitting the community, etc. The only good thing is raising awareness to financially support modders and modding as a profession. But I doubt that was ever Valves real motivation anyway.

I can fully appreciate the allure to work with Bethesda / Valve that Chesko and Isoku would have felt. I also have no problem compensating mod authors if I think a mod deserves it. But not everyone is in a position to do so and I am against locking content behind a paywall. My biggest gripe with all of this is threefold. The reaction from the community towards mod authors has been appalling - murder and rape threats on Isoku's family! WTF! The way this has been handled by Valve / Steam - how could they not foresee this reaction and complications. Or did they not care? The future of mods for the next series of ESO games.... I think I'll be taking a break from Skyrim for a while and playing some of the dozen or so other games that have been sitting on my PC for the last 12 months that I'm yet to start.

I would suggest before ETaC. I had it placed after ETaC and my navmesh in Riverwood was broken around the same time. I am not blaming Ogmund's Tomb for this specifically, as I didn't look hard enough to find what the problem was. -
Is this Compatability Plugin needed?
Teabag86 replied to Aggrumon's question in General Skyrim LE Support
YES! [spoiler=Answer](Actually, No) -
If Elianora (definitely a she) isn't available then you might want to try JK. He's just wrapped up his Skyrim overhaul and is looking for a new project.

I can recommend Civil War Aftermath, The Honored Dead and Clean Up Your Corpses. I activate these 3 along with Immersive Patrols whenever I start the civil war. If you are wondering why I have included CUYC, I enjoy burying my dead comrades and making an example of the enemy. Apologies for not hyper linking - typing from the iPad

Top stuff! Thanks

I was one of the early beta testers for the quest. Grantyboy has put a lot of work into it. Very enjoyable. Now that it is complete I am looking forward to finishing it :) -

Battle for Whiterun Quest ID?
Teabag86 replied to Teabag86's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
Arthmoor has provided a script free solution by suggesting to link objects to the quest markers in the Battle for Whiterun. That way they turn on when the xMarker is activated. A very simple solution :) -
Battle for Whiterun Quest ID?
Teabag86 replied to Teabag86's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
Well UnmeiX solved it for me. For anyone interested two checks are required. First being that the Battle for Whiterun is complete. Second that the player is a Stormcloak If SetStage CWSiegeObj == 9000 If SetStage CW01B == 200 Cheers -
The quest ID for the Battle for Whiterun is the same regardless of whether it is the Stormcloaks or Imperials - CWSiegeObj Is there a quest id to identify which faction has taken control of Whiterun? Thanks

Does anyone know what the REGS BDGE esp replacer changes? Thanks Edit* According to the FOMOD it is a "Replacer ESP to fix a conflict with the Unofficial Dawnguard Patch in this mod. Do not use if you are silly and do not have the UDGP...."
