  1. I cant reproduce it either, I'm afraid...
  2. NSFW: Not Safe For Work. The Nexus mod page has pictures of naked males in um... various states of arousal, it may be fair to say. Just means you dont want to get caught looking at that at work, where most work places have anti-porn rules. Hence the STEP download site, meaning you can download the file at work etc and not get issues over it.
  3. If you did want to have a completely vanilla base directory, you could do the old Steam Check Integrity of Game Cache option. If it finds a file that's not vanilla, it'll re-establish that file by downloading and overwriting. Is that what you're trying to do?
  4. And if you do have it, go to the Mod config menu and select the option for Immersive HUD that X toggles it on or off every press.
  5. It is possible, cause I know he never did a female equivalent for the 'Courier' race. But don't quote me...
  6. That's not surprising. When you make a mod and put the bashed patch in that mod folder, when you rebuild the patch the next time, it simply overwrites the one in the said mod folder. To test this, check the date etc on the bashed_patch0.esp before and after you've run WB and check they've changed. If the date/time on the Bashed Patch has changed to the newer time, you're in business. It should have worked.
  7. Push comes to shove, just reinstall the mod the nifs were from.
  8. Good point. I always did it as normal procedure from the old NMM days. Old habits die hard. :)
  9. Have you tried the Injector version instead? There's been times in the past when people haven't been able to install the wrapper type. Maybe look at that?
  10. What preset are you using. What ENB?
  11. Your logic fails me, Smitty. I loathe torrents, period. End of discussion.
  12. That's far too big a number in the ini. 10240 is the highest it should be set at. What you're basically saying is set ALL your memory to Skyrim, leaving nothing for any thing else. So you could be getting a memory crash. Lower that number first.
  13. I don't follow nor accept your premise, Smitty. I will NEVER use torrents as they are unsafe and like a number of other inventions, we'd be better off and safer without them. If that makes me close-minded, so be it, I'm close-minded. As for hating the internet, well yes, I do loathe a good part of it. But the day things like torrents become de-rigeur, I'm gone.
  14. Go to Steam and use the verify integrity of game cache option. I'm going to take a punt that there's an issue with the cleaned ESM's of some description. Checking the cache integrity will regenerate those in vanilla uncleaned form. Do that then try and run vanilla Skyrim and get back to us.
  15. If you really want to deal with the file in over write, just move that log file to the relevant folder in Mod Organizer/mods . Then every time it's generated it'll end up back there. Once you've done that you can delete the other folders in overwrite. As for the CTD on startup, first thing I'd do is double check my SKSE install.
  16. You said it. Piracy. I loathe pirates with a passion. And for that reason alone I personally wish Torrents would disappear off the face of the internet. And I debate the efficiency argument as well. Hence my hatred of torrents, seeding and anything to do with the whole shady practice of them.
  17. Yes, go to Steam, right click on Skyrim. go down to Properties. Select Properties, click on Local Files, and click Verify Integrity of Game Cache. Before you do that though, back up the two ini files. When you've done the verify, copy those ini files back. This is cause when yopu verify the cache it'll overwrite any ini tweaks you've already made back to default.
  18. Just had some joker send me a friend request on Steam. I had no idea who they were but said OK just to see what they tried. Lo and behold inside an hour I get a message saying "Hey I played (a game I dont own) with you a couple of days ago, and took this great screenshot of you... and a link to a screensaver file. Said person was blocked, reported and defriended pretty damn quick.
  19. The day Nexus or any other mod sites make their stuff torrentable will be the day I quit modding.
  20. Yes. Make it yourself :)
  21. I'm actually glad STEP's not an installer. I'm actually glad that I HAVE to take the time and learn how things work and go together. If STEP ever gets made an installer, I'd STILL take the time to download every mode one at a time. And I wouldn't use Torrents. *shudders* Not sure that line about 'pointless permissions' is quite kosher. In fact I think it's pretty insulting.
  22. Ah I'm a dunce. There's actually a patch on the CCOR page for Jswords. For that matter there's also one for Winter is coming, which I see you also have installed. Up to you though. It'll work with what you have, just that they wont be CCOR compatible.
  23. If your lanterns are all purple, check the lanterns option in SMIM. This may just mean running the SMIM installer again and checking it that time. I know STEP doesn't suggest Lanterns in the SMIM install, but that's how I fixed that issue last time. With CCOR, It can look after Jswords for you if you want it to. If I recall correctly you may just need to run the Installer again and select that option when it's available. Then CCOR will provide it's own Jswords.esp and you can move the Jaysus Swords provided ESP to the optional section. Then look in CCOR's Mod config Menu and you should see some Jswords options. @Smile44. Yeah I hear ya. I'm currently kicking butt and taking names with my Permaed Orc double hand using warrior. She's scything through people like butter. :) When Requiem 1.8's good to go will fire that up too.
  24. I'd probably do the Bashed Patch for the STEP install first. Don't include any Requiem mods in the Bashed Patch when you do, I believe is how it's done. The LOOT the lot. If you want to get fancy you could play with the mod priorities to make sure Requiem files are loading late, but if you're happy just dragging and dropping them down the bottom that works too. Then the merge for the Requiem stuff and I think that's good to go.
