Install Skyrim Revisited on top of STEP:Extended OK?
Nozzer66 replied to FreeMortal's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
I'll make this a separate post... If you wanted to check STEP Extended versus SRLE, what I'd do is make another MO profile. Then all you'd need to do is install the mods for SRLE that you haven't already downloaded, and put them all in order. Would save you having to go back to scratch. -
crash to desktop even when just have the base nine/elven mods
Nozzer66 replied to uiowebae's question in General Skyrim LE Support
If that's the case, what you should have done was check your data directory and deleted anything that wasn't a vanilla file. Should be the first thing you do if you've had other mods before. Start from complete vanilla again. -
Install Skyrim Revisited on top of STEP:Extended OK?

Have done Requiem on SRLE, yes. It's doable and is quite fun...Expect to die a lot... early on. Once you get going you will become a superhuman. -

So are you saying it's not a fresh Skyrim install and you've had it modded before? -
ENB Local Vsync settings not working with mods

Probably some form of scripting issue. With all the mods starting Skyrims little brain gets overloaded and chucks the teddy out the cot on occasions... -
Why would Mod Organizer rearrange! (Image included)

Well there ya go. I've learned something today too. Cheers DoubleYou. And no worries mdh2, we've all been there. :D -
Why would Mod Organizer rearrange! (Image included)
Nozzer66 replied to mdh2's question in Mod Organizer Support
It hasn't. The answer is down the very bottom of your picture. You have your mods sorted by a group, ie Nexus ID's. Change that, and you should be fine. I'd also add that it doesn't look like you have Animated Dwemer Load Doors installed correctly. -

OK, Post the load order, please. Also it might help if you post what you have as the SKSE arguments, binary etc in MO. Cause something's not kosher. -

Of the ones in Doc Mitchell's, yes. The Deagle's nice too, but a bit too much I think. I do quite like the other sniper rifle you added too, the one that's in the locked box by the side of the saloon. I sniped Joe Cobb from Chet's porch with that bad boy. Headshot, Boom. Complete with the IMPACT added arterial blood splatter, that was pretty dope. :) -

I'd get onto Steam and do the old 'Verify Integrity of Game Cache'. That should replace any missing/dodgy/corrupt vanilla files. Then try again. See how that goes first. If it still comes a gutser, we'll likely need a load order. The other thing, check your SKSE Install. -
Mod installation order, dependancies, general nerd overload
Nozzer66 replied to FreeMortal's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Anything that needs a dependency that's installed later, you can just untick in MO until the dependency's installed. No mess, no fuss. :) If you're planning adding Wyrmstooth and Falskaar, then install all the patches you need at the time. Just do as above and leave them inactive until all their dependencies are installed. If that's all you intend to add to STEP Extended, you should be fine. Cant help you with OneTweak, sorry. And yes, clean it again. That's just a function of that fact that some versions of TESVEdit find the extra 6 after first clean, and some don't. There wont be an issue if you clean it the second time. In fact the STEP instructions did originally suggest to. They only changed when the new experimental build of TESV Edit was released, I believe. EDIT: BTW Wyrmstooth and Falskaar are in the REGS pack, so you way wish to consider looking at that for some other mod ideas. -

No problem rhodsey. Glad to help. As for Ess's post, nope, leave the guns alone. People just need to show a little restraint. The only one I take is the sniper rifle. -

That'll be because the esp isn't clicked as active in your plugins list in the right hand pane of MO, most likely.- 2 replies

Not going to happen. I will never knowingly help anyone with a pirated version, regardless of their reasons for having it. -
STEP Extended: Randomly Timed CTDs on Game Start
Nozzer66 replied to vlog's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Like I said in the other thread. Your Skyrim is obviously not legitimate. Legit Skyrim copies REQUIRE Steam. Hence, if you're torrented it, lots of mods wont work. Prove the Skyrim copy you have is legit if you want any help. -
If your Skyrim isn't a Steam game, then it's obviously not a legit edition, since Skyrim required Steam to validate. That's your problem. Where exactly did you get your Skyrim from?

Have you tried the anti-aliasing patch there on the vurt's files? That often fixes the odd, flat, blocky look. -
Improved Closefaced Helmets/WAF question
Nozzer66 replied to Razorsedge877's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Building patches isn't all that hard. It's just a matter of thinking. Some conflicts are easy to fix, like do you REALLY want a companion mod changing a light value in a certain place? No, then patch that sucker. Some are a little more subtle. -

Another thing I noticed, having a quick look in FNVEdit, was that some of the sound effects mods overwrites IMPACT's sounds and a few other things, given usual LOOT sort order. Will need to look at that as well. I have another 4 day weekend and might have a closer look at the whole patch you suggest above SRB. -

Have found a few issues I suspect are IMPACT related. 1) Most of the Primm residents stuck in the Vikki and Vance are walking around gunless, though looking like they have them drawn, in the case of the one I found with a missing magnum. The ones supposedly with rifles just look like they have no gun at all. Resurrecting them fixes it. Checking their inventory though, even after resurrection, they have no gun, just ammo and cases. 2) Definitely needs some bash tags, given all its patch plugins roll into the bashed patch. -
PerMa (Patchus Maximus) SkyProc patch Null Error
Nozzer66 replied to Dovado's question in Other Utilities Support
It's possibly a java control issue. Make sure you have full control for your Skyrim data directory as well as your java and javaw. Look in 'security' under properties. -
If your question is asking how you handle mods that have ESP replacers that are compatible with other mods, (like CCO providing a Cloaks of Skyrim esp that is compatible with CCO for example) You'd use the file CCO provides and go to Cloaks of Skyrim and hide the file with the same name. Is that sort of what you were getting at?

MO has deleted itself and all of the mods along with it?
Nozzer66 replied to xJack's question in Mod Organizer Support
You must have something that's deleting it. I'd try restoring it and then doing a scan, just to see if anything shows up. Cause by rights, nothing will delete itself. -
Should dawnguard.esm still be cleaned twice?
Nozzer66 replied to Satur9's question in General Skyrim LE Support
You wont have an issue if you clean it twice. I believe the suggestion to do it twice got removed cause not everyone's getting told to do it twice. -

Nozzer66 replied to xJack's question in Mod Organizer Support
So like I said before, have you actually looked in your desktop recycling bin to see if it's in there? Also, what anti-virus are you using? Have you checked that to see whether it may have quarantined MO?
