Missing esp for Tutorial killer
Nozzer66 replied to Thiero's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports
Try swapping the fomod installer options in MO plugins. -
SKYRIMLE Skyrim Child Overhaul (by Hallgarth)
Nozzer66 replied to TechAngel85's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
That's exactly why I use RS. Cause the vanilla children make me want to drown kittens, and Rustic Children is little more than Vanilla fancied up. -
SKYRIMLE WAO - Weather and Ambience Overhaul Megapatch (by UnmeiX)

Plenty of volume in the wilderness around Helgen using the camping in the woods alternate start. -
SKYRIMLE Skyrim Child Overhaul (by Hallgarth)
Nozzer66 replied to TechAngel85's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Having tested all of them in game before now, (And this is based on some older data) RS wins for me FOR NOW. SCO would win if and when the Orc children for one get properly voiced. (Now note this was based on an early version when they definitely weren't voiced. If that's changed then so will my vote) -
pack Perkus Maximus (PerMa - PaMa) Pack

Don't tweak it weekly. Use 1.1 with the Wintermyst fix and leave it like that till we get a good solid build of Perma. -
DROPPED Skyrim - Enhanced Camera (by LogicDragon)
Nozzer66 replied to dstansberry's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Not sure, but it's annoying enough for me to remove the mod. -
issue with my trees in the distance

Get to Honningbrew Meadery, turn the corner and haul ass with the sprint key enabled. I usually get there with the giant at half health or thereabouts. -

uGrids 7 is fine. I've never had a real issue with it. -
pack Perkus Maximus (PerMa - PaMa) Pack
Nozzer66 replied to phazer11's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
Yeah I think I've run into every possible issue so far with this one. It's not helping when T3nd0's made two screwups with 1.1 and 1.2 releases that needed hotfixes. Still, I'll punch along with it. Most of what people are claiming as issues are either their own mistakes in modding or java installations. It's similar with Spears by Soolie. When it does work it is sensational, just gotta jump through a few hoops. :) -
I like it. Not adding to the minority.

I'll be staying with RS Children personally.

ACCEPTED Skyrim Skill Interface Re-Texture (by Arndas)
Nozzer66 replied to oqhansoloqo's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Can confirm it works quite nicely with PerMa skill trees and looks a million dollars, even. -
pack Perkus Maximus (PerMa - PaMa) Pack
Nozzer66 replied to phazer11's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
Just to note: Version 1.2 of Perma is out. That fixes a few things, including T3nd0's SNAFU with Wintermyst. However it introduces a few more, like an occasional inability ro lockpick at all, (which there's a hotfix for) or more annoyingly, no xp gain for successful lockpicks once you get the ability to lockpick working. Have rolled back to 1.1 with the Wintermyst fix for now. -

I'm guessing this probably doesn't work for Perma? Or anything that plays with vanilla trees? -
I'd happily apply for a position as a Nexus moderator. I love laying down the smacketh with ban hammers, Been doing it for years. :D

If you've already done almost all of CORE, I'd now proceed thusly: Leave the CORE profile alone in MO, and copy it to a new profile called EXTENDED. Then follow the Extended instructions. Drag and drop stuff to fit the suggested install order and you should be golden. This way, you have both options. If you want to play with just the CORE mods, you select that profile when starting a play through. If you want to try Extended, then you select that profile. This is one of the good things about Mod Organizer, you can do things like this, and keep each profile's saves separate.

The STEP Project page here: https://wiki.step-project.com/STEP:2.2.9 Has links to nexus download pages of the mods that are in STEP Core and STEP Extended. Also contains instructions on what to do to get started etc. Start there and read through it. Essentially it's designed that STEP Core gives a good solid base for you to mod further from. STEP Extended is CORE plus some extra mods. Once again, you can branch out from there. Add more mods of your own choice or look at some of the STEP Packs. My advice would be this: If you're new, not 100% sure where you want to go yet, go through and follow STEP Core. That will get you a stable start. On top of that it also exposes you to all the tools and a lot of the techniques used in adding mods. Then play with that for a while. See if there's something you'd like to improve, etc. Then you could look at Extended. Hope that helps.

Can you merge a TES5 auto merged patch and STEP Extended Patch
Nozzer66 replied to uncleseano's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Raulfin (a well known patch master on the nexus) suggests using a bashed patch for the levelled lists, and a merged patch for everything else. I've done it myself for several Perma installations and have no issues. EDIT: I have an unwritten rule of never merging anything that's dynamically created with anything else. I'd just leave them alone. Edit again. I fail on Merged patch vs Bashed patch. Corrected. :D -
Question about the directions for the STEP guide
Nozzer66 replied to singdavion's question in General Skyrim LE Support
If you're adding non STEP mods and STEP mods provide patches to make them work with STEP mods then of course you can install the patches. -
You mean LL? *shudder* Yeah I have an account there but still.

Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback
Nozzer66 replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Am in the middle of an SRLE redo now. Will let you know what I find. EDIT: You might want to mention that the script likes the overwrite directory to be empty when doing a merge. Yes you get the option to proceed anyway, but might just be worth noting. -
Common CTDs, Freezes, ILS and memory issues
Nozzer66 replied to hishutup's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Ahhhh the old missing scripts issue. I wish I could say I've never done that one myself... I can't though. :) -
Great minds think alike. I was going to use that HDT hair mod this time too. *And I usually go through KS and SG by hand and toss a few out anyway before I rearchive and install. Takes a bit of time but worth it in the end I find.* I just find the relative lack of choice and the pretty average poly count on some of the vanilla hair a bit blah...

ACCEPTED The Ruffled Feather (By SparrowPrince)
Nozzer66 replied to Xaviien's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
The Ruffled Feather is a bit of a conglomeration of mods. Not all of which are in STEP. so xSJx, what I'd do in your situation is download The Ruffled Feather and install it. Have the STEP guide handy when you do and follow the suggested install options for the STEP mods that are in the package. I cant see there being a huge issue that way, and LOOT should sort out the esp files fine. Another option is to install just Enhanced Distant Terrain from the Ruffled Feather now, and re-run the installer again when you get to the next STEP mod that's covered by the Ruffled Feather (Moss Rocks I think that is...)- 307 replies
