GUIDE Fear and Loathing in New Vegas - Feedback

No. Not unless YUP version 10 is released, and once Yuki remembers to intergreate the patch fully that time. -
GUIDE Fear and Loathing in New Vegas - Feedback

I'm wondering if MGs Neat Clutter Retextures by Mental Gear is worth a look-at. Probably should make a mod thread for it, but it was recommended by Jokerine (author of Boom to the Moon) for the meterbox retexture it contained. Thoughts? -
Free (or Cheap) Games & Giveaways
WilliamImm replied to EssArrBee's topic in General Game Discussion
I actually heard about G2A before you guys mentioned it, and it's absolutly amazing. Already got Pillars of Eternity and Cities Skyline Deluxe from it. And.... Accura Soccer 3. Though that was a random key. But I paid much less than I would have for the individual games. -
ACCEPTED Not So Fast - Mage Guild (by cdcooley)
WilliamImm replied to WilliamImm's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Thieves Guild Requirements is the closest mod that does so. -
Nice. I plan to have my own webpage/blog too, hopefully quite nice in it's own way. But I'm glad to see that Chesko is back in action.

SKYRIMLE Khajiit Ears Show - With Mod Support (by Nazenn)
WilliamImm posted a topic in Skyrim LE Mods
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/63218/? Allow Khajiit ears to show through helmets and other headgear, instead of getting squished by said headgear. Much along the same lines as Horns are Forever, but for the other beast race. Already supports a fair amount of popular armor mods, and also includes support for Improved Closefaced Helmets. -
Right now, mostly games on PbP. As for actual video games, I'm currently trying to play Bioshock 1, and looking into playing modded XCOM. There are a ton of games that I'd want to play, but never got around to doing so.

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60061/? The other College of Winterhold application altering mod, and one which I did not know about at first. Now instead of being tested on a random school of magic, you can actually choose which school you want to be tested on. You'll even get the appropriate set of robes for your prefered school as you join. This appears to be compatible with the older mod by TorchicBlaziken according to the author, but I have not tested it.

Bumping this back to attention with the recent release of Not So Fast - Mage Guild. (STEP thread for that mod). 2.2 doesn't appear to conflict with Not So Fast, but it does have a packaging error. During instllation with Mod Organizer, you would need to move the Scripts folder out of the extra Data folder. Otherwise, the scripts from this mod will not get installed, and you'll end up missing the MCM menu and the features of this mod. I have messaged the author about this issue.

Also, apparently, Expired loves recreating Batman villans in Skyrim, judging by what he plays as. :P (Check the screenshot he posted)

...Now, I'm genuinely wondering what would happen to the mods that were on the curated workshop. Like the planned SkyUI 5.0 update. The new mods Chesko and Isoku made for it. Among others. Though I don't think there's many people who care for Midas Magic anymore...

Hell... I was actually offered in a promotion to get AC Unity for free, with a choice between two other Ubi games. After everything I've heard about Unity, I ended up beelining for Far Cry 4 instead (which was also offered in the promotion). I've also sent a message to the author of Better Vanilla Hairs, telling him how well the new donation system worked for me on the Nexus. And that he should at least try enabling it for the Nexus version of the mod.
-
What the f***. Who thought it was a good idea to make these mods the face of the curated workshop, and why are they allowed to live? This looks more like proof of concept mods, and less like, well, ACTUAL MODS. And content that's just plain-old ripped off from other games, something which can get you banned on the Nexus. But apparently it's A-OK here. F*** off.

Discussion thread: Not So Fast - Mage Guild by CDCooley Wiki Link Like the one for the main quest, this mod slows down the otherwise breakneck pace of the College quests. Good companion with some of the other College-altering mods. Compatibility-wise, it's compatible with EBQO (since I checked when doing the update there). Still looks really good.
-
Discussion thread: Not So Fast - Main Quest by cdcooley Wiki Link Frankly good mod for the game that puts a little more pacing between the parts of the main quest, and also alters some of the annoyances with it too. Worth a look at for STEP Extended or a community pack. I have already made a patch for this mod in the most recent EBQO update, so no worries there. Author now includes EBQO instructions in mod.
-
Yeah. The Cutting Room Floor patch was expanded on (it previously was only a compatibility patch), but I've also added support for Not So Fast - Main Quest (which I'll suggest a look-at from STEP). I was also going to add support for House of Horrors Alternate Ending, but frankly, I gave up when I saw how the script looked for that. Better if I just remake that from scratch.
-
I've updated EBQO's comment page with a new sticky explaining my position. In short, both motivation and dismotivation came from all this. Motifivation from the Nexus, dismotivation from SkyUI paywalling. Been trying to convience them to use the donation system instead of Steam monetizing. So far, it's been uphill to even get notice.
-
I was never going to upload my mods on Steam Workshop because of how awful the system already was for Skyrim. Now I'm not going to do it further. It would be disingenious for me to put Even Better Quest Objectives behind a paywall, since a lot of the work still comes from whickus (with his permission). Putting mods behind paywalls is an idea that's anti-cathedral to the core. Don't particpate in this. Just don't. Honestly, a much better way to support mod authors consistenly would be to use something like Flattr or Gratipay. Both are microdonation services that allow you to automatically give money to creators that you like. If the Nexus Mod site set up a feature that automatically sets up Flattr microdonations for every mod that you endorsed, a lot of the payment problems regarding mods would not be there. And we'd be less tempted to paywall ourselves.

My vote is to use the box, gem, and crown from this mod.
-
For completeness, it is possible to install only the meshes of the box and not the textures from this mod. Take an additional comparison screenshot that uses the mesh from this mod and the texture from current STEP. I do, however, like the box from this mod better than current STEP. And the look of the gem is way better than current STEP too.

You don't have to ask me twice. Marked for Testing.

Can the modified mesh just be replaced as a separate mod? -
Marked for Testing. It looks to me like it's worth a serious look for inclusion in STEP.
