  1. Just letting everyone know that this is still in planning. I'm on a ten-day long stretch at work and will not have a completely free day until Friday of next week. So...it's coming and hopefully next weekend or (time permitting) sooner.
  2. That's funny because I actually work full time. 40 hrs a week. I'm just a shitty employee lol. 40+ here and being a manager and hearing someone say that is like... :?
  3. An upgrade to the wiki software is/was taking place. Give it some time and it'll be back up.
  4. console command? tfc=toggle free camera
  5. And this is why STEP was seriously looking at Relighting Skyrim for a while as it's official solution. However, it was ultimately determined that no lighting mod was finished enough to be a part of official STEP.
  6. Maybe I'll set down and learn how to make/correct meshes, completely make it look horrible and, through trial and error, have my first mod. Haha! ....like I have the time either.
  7. Only use one USKP, so delete any old ones you have and just use the latest. To clean your saves, go to any inn, wait 12 hours (the 'T' button if you haven't changed your key mapping), save your game, uninstall your mods, load your game and wait another 12 hours, open console and type in clearinvalidregistrations in the console (you don't have to do this is you have it set in your SKSE ini 'clearinvalidregistrations=1'), wait another 12 hours and stand there for a few minutes to make sure SKSE has time to purge your saves. Now finally, re-save your game and it should be as clean as you can possibly get it. This method of my might be a bit overkill but it's sure to clean out as much as possible.
  8. I looks like this mainly effects helmets that are close to the face. I tired several helmets and hoods and the only ones that clipped are those tight on the head. Sadly, it still makes this mod a no-go. Removing from testing in light of this. :( :crys:
  9. This mod hasn't been in my install in a good way and I personally haven't missed it.
  10. Fixed. The link to SR or the instructions from SR will be added to the guide at a later time.
  11. He would really be the best person to be able to do this. I know his work centers around objects, but this is such a glaring issue that I'm surprised he hasn't already.
  12. I love the plan of completely overhauling the rocks; even if that meant mod authors would be required to use your mesh fixes as a base or not use that option in SMIM. The benefit of having proper mountain and rock meshes far outweighs the authors having to make a SMIM compatible version. SMIM has become a "no-brainer" when modding so any reputable mod author making these texture would consider your improvements when making their textures, I would hope anyway.
  13. I like this mod, and as long as it is a replacer of the corresponding crappy meshes, then all of the others will still be available, and this is an improvement, IMO. ... still think that vanilla hair looks great on these meshes. AOF is right up there too. I'll give you that. The other textures do look a lot better on these corrected meshes than they do on the vanilla meshes. Just goes to show how much a proper mesh can make all the difference. And yes, this is a only a mesh replacement...a direct mesh replacement. No scripts and comes as loose files. Perfect for Core, IMO.
  14. Updated the wiki for this mod.
  15. OP updated with relevant compares. It's really sad the author abandoned this mod. The work he/she was doing was really great! I'm praying someone will pick up the mantle and finish this mod!
  16. Multiple votes are allowed so vote for whatever you like. One of Core and one for Extended. I think Vanilla would be fine for Core.
  17. Don't be hatin', Z. :P It's true, from Core there really is nothing wrong with Vanilla; however, for Extended I'd like to see a bit extra. Hence my vote for Legible.
  18. We should be looking at Superior rough, vanilla and AOF with the new meshes then ... I did not even know about that. No sense looking at anything but the rough version of Superior though.I'll do those compare in the Better Vanilla Hairs thread. ...will have to figure out which hairs are affect first which shouldn't take too long. Might do that tonight if I have time after work.
  19. I'm agreeing, from these mods, Legible is the best option. I say this because in Vanilla the painted (lower) signs look awful, as does the pole itself; else I would simple go with Vanilla.
  20. Most of what is being excluded, Z has posted on the changelog: https://wiki.step-project.com/Changelog/2.2.7
  21. Z is proposing DTTL as a distance noise map; thus, it should replace your HD Enhanced Terrain. Correct? Edit: I got ninja'd
  22. I meant Skyrim Distance Overhaul that adds in LOD objects. Is the Proposed Core list in the MT forum up-to-date? EDIT: Those are great compares. It's nice to see the before and after work that we're doing.
  23. The install order... SFO DTTL Recolored Pines ...corrects the issue of the LODs from DTTL (for trees at least...this is how I have it installing). EDT2 can be installed later in the list. SDO still needs to be considered and tested as well.
