ACCEPTED Skyrim Realistic Overhaul (by Starac)
TechAngel85 replied to z929669's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
The optimized one that is linked has been DDSOpted from 2K to 1K so if you know how DDSOpt works...no, no visual differences between the 2K and 1K optimized textures. As for some of the "seeming identical" files, well I never examined them. I know who did the work on the optimized version of the mod and trust them and their work to be top notch.- 425 replies

There shouldn't be any visible difference. The one link on the Guide has the redundant files removed, is a mix of 1K and 2K textures and has been optimized with DDSOpt. It's highly preferred over the other files out there.- 425 replies

It was. Should be fixed now.

The admins probably haven't set that up yet. You shouldn't be attaching screenshots though. We use third party services for this. Imgur is a great place to host your shots. You can then link to them in the forum or include them in a post using the image button in the formatting toolbar.

Skylight ENB v16 and black clouds/foam

I think most of these textures are found here and the subfolders within: data/textures/effects/ -
Skylight ENB v16 and black clouds/foam
TechAngel85 replied to PlanetExp's question in Post-Processing Support
Running DDSOpt on certain textures will have this same effect. If DDSOpt was ran, the updated INI from STEP should have been used which will tell DDSOpt to skip over a lot of problematic textures. If DDSOpt was ran and the the updated INI wasn't used, then you'll have to restore your textures (hopefully you backed them up) and rerun it again with the updated INI. -
Ah, okay. Might need to copy to this to the Moderator Help forum. That's a round about why to delete a poll. Perhaps a "delete" button for poll deletion as a feature for Moderators and above would be a good choice as future content.

These have been switched to top-level forums. All the forums/threads that were within are still there minus the "Solved" forums. Could you guys clear your cache to make should the layout isn't loading from your cache. Ctrl+F5

M is done. All links from the Anthology are now fixed. All mod page forum links on the current Guide are now fixed. I also moved a few mods that were in the wrong category and fixed a few mods that didn't have wiki links.
-
There doesn't seem to be a way to delete polls. I usually delete them from the Anthology threads because they're no longer of value and we've decided against polls where possible anyway. They seem to be to attached to the first post in the new forum software. I can edit but not change. Like the poll here: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/2655-pondfish-and-salmon-replacer-by-nexus79 I've closed it for now.

What?! You have something against H? Haha! I'll work on that this morning.H is doneStill need to fix:LML is done.Still need to fix:M

The work you've done looks good. Those subtle changes have made all the difference for me.
-
All of D should have been done but the dropped mods because I did those earlier.
-
I've taken care of the forum and wiki links for the "active" mods currently in STEP for section D - Fixes. The dropped mods will still need to be fixed in the forum/wiki, but they are not a priority atm. So the Fixes section for the current release should be good to go. I'll work on the next section in a bit. Going to take a break and do a bit of gaming.

Well, I'm actually testing a pre-2.3.0 setup where Core is installed and then Extended is installed on top of Core.
-
Someone should probably take a look at the support forums theme. It's completely messed up unless someone is making changes.
-
I would say this is a "not so common" setup so I'm not sure it anything can be done for it. The majority of user will be setting just a few feet away from their monitors. This can be turned off in your settings. This is true, but seems to be true for most IPB forums. Nexus is the same way.
-
I can help change the mod page thread IDs if needed. I can start with the ones currently included in STEP and then work on the other 400+ later. Let me know.

Copy the core profile. O_o Where is this black magic done? In MO or in the MO directory? I didn't know you could copy profiles in MO. Nvm. Sweet black magic...! I knew not of this feature. haha!
-
Is there a way to copy the mod list priority from one profile to another profile? For example: I've created a "STEP Core" profile and have installed all the mods in Core and have the priorities correct. Now I'm ready to install Extended and have just created a "STEP Extended" profile. When this second profile is created the mod list priority is reset and the mods are listed alphabetically. Can I copy the mod list priority from the Core profile to the Extended profile? Or is the only way to correct the priorities is to manually rearrange them?

Link to this page? It's on the main page for me: https://wiki.step-project.com/Main_Page
-
It would appear most links on the wiki that lead to the forum on broken. Including those on the mod pages. If there is no automatic way of fixing this I can get a start on fixing the mod pages at least.
-
It should also be noted that the tags are also missing in Anthology.
-
I agree and brought this up behind the scenes. I think MT forum should be locked from creating new threads by non-staff members. They are missing the tags and the authors are missing the badges. Guy you have to remember this switch just happened so some things will still need to be set up. Stating with the more important things first and then moving down the list. Most everything will be back.
