  1. First, stop using third party programs to do that what can be done with what you already have installed. ENBlocal.ini has a FPS Limiter that can be used. There is also one in the drivers that can be accessed with Nvidia Inspector. So get rid of RivaTuner unless you're simply using it for overclocking (which Nvidia Inspector can do as well). Second, drop MSI Afterburner. These are programs which are not needed and can interfere with things. Use Skryrim Performance Monitor to monitor your performance which has support for ENB/ENBoost in the settings. Basically, eliminated the unnecessary programs to rule them out.
  2. I agree but need to verify in-game
  3. Texture conflicts are normal and this mod should overwrite most of the textures. What I referred to earlier were to conflicts in the plugin with other plugins in STEP.
  4. I've been wanting a lighting and weather overhaul for STEP for a while now. It's one area that I've been trying to work into the Guide and eventually separate the mods out into an official pack. With Vividian Weathers, it might just be the ticket for weathers without having to grab multiple mods and piece them together. I'll be starting a new game shortly.
  5. Sorry, we only support the latest version of the Guide.
  6. I'm installing this for my personal play-through just to see how it is. The only forwards I see for a STEP install is forwarding some of the AOS patch to a custom patch because the STEP Patches overwrite some of the weather data.
  7. You have to type in the game that you're looking for each time as Staz mentioned aboved. Inspector does not open with the last profile you edited. You do not have to keep Inspector open. Just make your changes, save (hit the button twice for good measure), and then close and play the game. No need to keep it open unless you're running the monitors for whatever purpose.
  8. Even if he doesn't remember, just grab it and the optionals and make it anyways. Then simply say...here you go, it's done! As if it was simply your job to make it. I've done that for a few authors and I'm eyeing Embers HD as my next target. ::
  9. This is finally filling out nicely. It might be time to take a look at it.
  10. DynDOLOD usually took around 2 mins for the texgen and around 25 mins for the rest. That's on my WD Black. Haven't tested it with the new EVO drive yet.
  11. I think the author said something about wind speed, which I think I've seen before while playing around in xEdit.
  12. Nice job! I probably had it set up wrong on my old setup. Loving this SSD!
  13. It's likely Tor. I've never used it though, so I couldn't say for sure.
  14. Looks nice. I'm sure some improvements will come over time.
  15. Just verified my SMIM installation. It is installed according to STEP Guide. I did completely delete and redo my entire installation since that play-through, so perhaps I had something messed up with SMIM as well. I'm downloading it again to ensure the mod page is correct with the installer (Brumbek likes to a changes wording around somethings). Actually, he hasn't updated SMIM in quite some time now.
  16. I had this issue too and on verified STEP install. SMIM was install exactly to the Guide. How do you figure this was SMIM? PS: I'll be back up and running today or tomorrow and will be able to test this soon.
  17. Why is this not in the mods forum? Moving.
  18. It's still being worked on. He'll unlock the thread for a bit after a release and then relock it again later on. I know, oddest behavior I've seen from a mod and it's author too, but it's his page. I don't think he likes being bothered by all the comments.
  19. I have that patch installed for testing.
  20. I had this exact same issue in the exact same cave on my last playthrough and I never did look into it far enough to narrow it down. Now that another player has confirmed, it needs investigation. My suspicions were on DynDOLOD because that is partly an "open world" cave, but being that it could be the STEP Patch is a real issue.
  21. Well, from the compares, I'm all for including the new addon.
  22. Thanks! That's night and day in those shots, considering I can't even tell what the hell the first one is. If I would have ran across that in-game I would have been scratching my head and asking questions (have yet to play any of Dragonborn).
  23. I agree that Win 7 price should drop. OEM basically still costs the same price as Win8/10 on most online stores.
  24. Sad answer is, Microsoft no longer supports XP and neither does STEP for that reason. XP end-of-life past a while back and I still can not fathom why people are using it when Win 7 is just as fast and just as good (better in some ways).
  25. Geez! I've skipped out in this topic for a few days and it's exploded. I'll have to go and read everything, but not on my phone. Mary and I have a good relationship and she is often a demotivator, imo.
