  1. You only need to generate the LODs after removing mods which would effect the LOD objects. Trees are included in this, so you would need to redo that. If not using SFO, be sure you grab the vanilla billboards and install them before generating. Bash Patch doesn't need to be updated often. There's nothing in SFO that would require a new Bashed Patch. Any mod that adds a leveled lists will require a new Bashed Patch to be created.
  2. I've been using this mod and it fixes the broken vanilla mechanics. I will be voting for this to be include in STEP:Extended. Please turn off your Tapatalk signature for the STEP forums.
  3. Why disable Occlusion Culling? That is a good thing and saves performance. I've never seen it linked to any sort of issues either.
  4. That mod used to be in STEP and was recently dropped in favor of Gamwich's RUSTIC POTIONS and POISONS. It's only "required" if you wanted the nicer corks, which Gamwich provides so no problems there. CACO changes the model for some of the potions and adjusts their effects/values, as well. It needs a major patch to work with Radiant Potions which someone has provided, but I'd rather simply drop the mod because of all the issues with it. STEP is about refinement, not fixing other author's mods. ::
  5. Why is this thread not in the Extenders section? Moved. I added a big warning to the mod page because users are changing the [THREADS] section without having a clue what it does.
  6. First set this: [THREADS] DataSyncMode=1 to this: [THREADS] DataSyncMode=0
  7. I have been for dropping this mod anyway due to CACO being in testing which I will be recommending for STEP, unless EssArrBee wants to take the time to try to fix everything. Some of these texture stand out too much anyway, imo.
  8. We forward changes from needed mods and fix things in the STEP Patches, it should be no different for this mod, but I haven't checked yet.
  9. Correct, they've been included for WB users.
  10. No, RWT should be loaded lower than LOOT places it because of things like this. We've been trying to get some meta rules added into LOOT, but so far the LOOT team hasn't included them.
  11. Whenever you create a new profile (instead of copying one), you end up with a default set of INI files from MO.
  12. Is RWT sorted below RS? It should be if it's not. That will resolve any conflicts without having to make a patch.
  13. No need to concern yourself with it. It's for users using WB for their main mod manager.
  14. I've updated the header to the opening section of the Guide to reflect our shift in versioning and provided the first major highlight of the release. The section can be used to simply highlight the changes from release to release. Changelog is provided for all changes.
  15. I've had someone else contact me about this on Nexus today. This is because users are finding the wiki before the forums to sign up and the link is broken on the wiki. It should point to : https://forum.step-project.com/index.php?app=core&module=global&section=register I might nudge Z about it to see if he can correct it or if it's something that requires s4n.
  16. You sure? The only things RS changes in the exterior are lights and there aren't any lights in that area from what I can see. Now if it really is RS, I would look in xEdit for any water height conflicts and forward anything you need from RWT.
  17. iPresetinterval
  18. That would be the water LOD, if I'm not mistaken.
  19. Make sure it's also set to "1" in your Skryim.ini
  20. Where is this "seam"? I see the loaded water up close and the LOD water in the distance (they rarely look the same), but I don't see anything I would call a seam.
  21. Well, if you installed XMPS Skeleton, then you need to install FNIS and run it. Dual Sheath Redux is a lot less complicated than DynDOLOD, but to each there own. :: Install and run FNIS first to ensure you have the right setup for that.
  22. You have a point... Carry on!
  23. In this case you should use the old Guide and replace the information since it is no longer relevant. Use the move function on the wiki to rename the Guide.
  24. I've never had this issue and play mainly as an archer. I use Archery Gameplay Overhaul.
  25. I updated the system requirements as previously discussed. Please check them out to make sure that we're all in agreement. I looked over multiple benchmarks before deciding on those specs. Mainly just the video card section has been refined. I don't feel there is much of a processing difference between Core and Extended. The main difference would be in VRAM usage since a lot more textures are added; however, the card listed should be able to play a STEP modded Skyrim just fine. 2GB VRAM is recommended either way, but the more the merrier.
