  1. Classic Boris. Now that you mention it, I see that it's true in my Fallout NV enblocal (and hasn't been causing antivirus issues apparently), but not in my Skyrim enblocal (well it its true for both now). It would be great if you shared your detailed explanation here. I'd love to give it a read for my own education. Perhaps the community benefits as well? Thanks keithinhanoi.
  2. "ExpandSystemMemoryX64=false" very interested to know if this should be made true. Thanks for asking, will stay tuned.
  3. 22 hours to go! They have met their 1 million pound goal & are on the way to the final 1.2 million for enhanced voice-overs. 22 hours to go!
  4. I saw this in a review video and fell in love with the idea, but alas it only cover Whiterun. My love will remain unrequited until it covers at least the major cities, otherwise my immersion would be put off. Kudos & encouragement worthy effort though, really ambitious. As for Kuldebar's concerns over the game's underbelly, all I have to say is; Hi, I'm Red' and I'm a Mod Addict... ...this is an Overmodders Anonymous meeting, right?
  5. I think they told Chris Roberts the same thing, and he's raised $38,819,803 for his game so far. I'm really excited that the two will be sharing CryEngine expertise. Who needs AAA publishers? Power to the gamers for the gamers!
  6. Unzip this Vividian ENB-36067-3-99.rar, open Vividian ENB/Optional Files/Brightness Editions/Pale & Cold, Bob's your uncle. Compared to Realvision, which have been using, this already seems pale & cold. I mean that in a complimentary way, the weathers I saw in a cursory survey of various old saves looked quite nice. I loaded RV back for a quick reference, but I'm going to install Vividian for the next bit of a while and give it a thorough test drive. Really nice work Mangaclub, gratefully endorsed.
  7. Nice, just the thing to further enhance my Markarth the White City experience. The texture looks very clean and detailed in the screenshots, I'll have to take a close look in game. The tease regarding his secret dwemer project has me very curious.
  8. I feel your pain, I've wanted a third arm for auto/motorcycle repair for some time now, just can't find a good price on one installed. Your preset sounds like a great showcase for all things CoT including ESS, I'm off to give it try.
  9. What about this AOS - CoT patch by michaelrw? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/44541/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D44541&pUp=1
  10. https://robertsspaceindustries.com/comm-link/transmission/13577-Kickstarter-Kingdom-Come-Deliverance Here's a link to the Star Citizen sight where the chairman Chris Roberts voices his support for Kingdom Come Deliverance's kickstarter (and links to it's trailer) and speaks of the collaboration between the two games. Exciting times ahead for CryEngine.
  11. Star Citizen is going to be my online gaming outlet (I hesitate to call it an MMO as its more of a combat/economic sim) while I continue to play Skyrim & Fallout NewVegas offline. With the advances in modding (specifically ENB & Memory patch 3.0) I should be well entertained until TES6 & FO4 drop.
  12. Thanks for the spoiler tag, I missed how to do that, figured I'd go back and edit after someone gave me a heads up, you saved a step. I prefer Wrye' BAIN for installations both in Skyrim & FNV, simple and clean. From what I gather MO doesn't really add much (obviously both are better than NMM), in fact MO using an alternate directory seems to create issues albeit resolvable ones. My order isn't a STEP-style vanilla+ experience, but this isn't my first Fallout rodeo so I'm excited for additional weapon mod & cyberware options as well as some new adventures. EDIT: I checked the Nexus for compatibility between MMUE & YUP, you make a good point and keeping it short YUP is the better choice I've dropped MMUE & MMUE+. That saved several esp files with all the MMUE compatibility patches involed, good call EssArrBee.
  13. Okay, reasonable stability achieved, gameplay testing to follow. I am using E ENB (with EnableLens=true set to =false) both for the effects as well as the enboost memory management. I did not install the 4gb patch. I used EssArrBee's guide as a foundation, but added additional mods as follows. Install order of mod packages (using WryeFlash/BAIN in my case); After installation I ran BOSS, rest a couple of masters and organized the unrecoginized mods. I have also installed CASE, Craft Pack & Improved LOD through Modfusion. After running Modfusion levelled list creator I then created a bashed patch using all applicable functions & tweaks available. Obviously this post is far short of a guide, or "rigorous analysis" for that matter. Hopefully its in some way helpful to anyone considering an FNV playthrough, and better yet maybe forwards ongoing discussion of that great game.
  14. Update: Trimmed my load order to 132 after modfusion/bashed patch and she's running. Set enblocal to reserved: 128mb, total: 10,240mb (would be even better with some Sheson style management, just sayin'). Will see how it plays before posting a mod list, EssArrBee's is a good foundation obviously. I'm currently working with a mix of MMUE, Project Nevada (core + cyberware), EVE & WME. On top of that I've got companions and NVInteriors plus some sundry others. Will see how it plays and make initial cuts as needed for stable gameplay.
  15. Say it ain't so! Without my killmove cookie I don't know if I'd even bother to fight at all.
  16. @AyleidRuin, I think you can forego 4gb patch in favor of enboost. I'm using E ENB & NVSE. I set my memory in enblocal to 10240 (the max) with the default 256 reserved since I have 16gb RAM + 2gb VRAM to work with. I'm sure memory patch 3.0 features would manage things even better, I just don't know if NVSE is stil being developed like SKSE is.
  17. Have you been back since the latest enb series binaries included enboost? That seems to be helping since last I ran New Vegas. I'm installing a new build inspired by EssArrBee's wiki as we speak, lot's of good stuff currently on Nexus.
  18. Considering the success of the 1.7 alpha of SKSE with the memory patch 3.0 features, I wonder if a new NVSE with the same is something we can hope for?

  20. Thanks for the update. Does the 4gb patch open up additional memory beyond what the new enb binaries do through enboost features?
  21. Update: Things are proceeding well. I have eliminated the 4gb patch as it was problematic with ENB. I'm launching through NVSE with E ENB active to enjoy the enboost feaure included in the binary & to enjoy the enb post processing as well. I have reinstalled mods one section at a time; MMUE/Project Nevada/Textures (Poco Bueno,NMC,Equipment & Weps), game launches as expected. UI/HUD mods installed, no loading issue. Continuing with equipment additons, companions, and finally new missions. We'll see where it finally chokes. I'll post an itemized list of my build once I figure out what needs cut and have it "finalized". We all know I won't make it to 10th level before I retool and restart, so "final" probably isn't a word I should be allowed to use.
  22. Okay, I may have my solution (fingers crossed will test now). The 4gb patch and ENB were not working together (for me, maybe in general). I have removed the 4gb patch as I believe enboost features in the .349 binary I am using for E enb will offer better memory patching. Wish me luck.
  23. Does the "break down ... 140 plugin mark" relate to number of esp files or memory load?I notice the NMC texture's (medium) are absolutely massive (5 times the size of all my esp files) but don't add esp plugins (obviously). However, uninstalling the textures hasn't allowed me to proceed past the initial loading screens (still shots, no intro sequence or menu).
  24. I my head I'm seeing a mechanic caricature pointing at the currently burning engine in my car and exclaiming "well there's your problem". :-) I'm selectively uninstalling through BAIN, no real harm done order is preserved for easy re-installation. I removed E enb previously to eliminate that, I can easy drop it in later. I believe I have 4gb patch & NVSE playing nice together, but I admit I'm not as savvy with them as the memory patch 3.0 for Skyrim.
