  1. @ afonik: I didn't see a P&P USKP patch, at least not for the RS Children version. I don't use NEC, or RS Children's patch for it, so I'm not sure how that's going to turn out (just be sure to exit TES5Edit, the relaunch to check your final merge for errors).
  2. The following RS children / PNP esp files merge nicely (with default settings and no facegen files produced) and save you 9 of your 255 slots;
  3. A test version has been uploaded by the other in an attempt to fix the char creation issue (downloading now, fingers crossed).
  4. Skyrim Better Roads updates to v1.3! SkyBeRoads author SilentResident posts on Nexus forum: "I will be very happy if the mod becomes part of REGS and/or GEMS! I hope your suggestions will be accepted! Becoming part of REGS could be awesome for the SkyBeRoads!"
  5. SIC and HLE are great, and I appreciate you convincing me to try Immersive Patrols. Have you consider the SkyTEST by etayorius & the SkyTEST Integration Patch for SIC by evrymetul?
  6. Dramatic Clouds as recommended in the guide look great, but only change the lower clouds. You might consider adding Realistic Clouds by Frozunswaidon to change the upper. I've been using the two together, hiding the lower clouds textures in Realistic Clouds, and they pair quite nicely.   7. If you have a pure STEP install I believe you can ignore that warning (check STEP documentation to be sure). If you use the STEP Patch, Core or Extended, I believe you can hide or uncheck several of the plugins mentioned in your post (check STEP Patch read me documentation to be sure). I do receive that same warning using non-STEP mods and generally follow its auto-fix changes, unless I'm sure I know better (like placing AFT at the end of the list because I prefer it there).

  9. Thanks for your work on this, I just learned how adaptive quality actually works, now I can flip that value from 0 to 2 and actually benefit from it. Also I can avoid the temptation to use Transparency AA due to my pc's lack of a Ferrari engine. Oh, and the default Serenity enblocal lacks the IgnoreLoadingScreen=true line, so I'm mining all kinds of gold from your wiki.

  11. I'm familiar with the walk animation mod, it's weapons clipping through the cloak that bother me. If the cloak was havoked that might not be as much of an issue, but there doesn't seem to be a havok animated cloak mod at present.

  14. Yeah, I don't have a link for you, I saw the issue a few days ago thought I'd pass you the tip. You could also check MO for the conflict, or use MFG console to see what touched it last.
  15. There was a fix posted for that in the JK's Whiterun Nexus forum, might be SMIM overwritten by something, scroll back a few days and you'll see it.

  18. Thanks for including Immersive Armors, I had passed on that myself previously but I'm glad I added it as part of SR:LE lots of good content there. I agree that Immersive Weapons isn't at the same level, I'm using Insanity's Lore Weapon Expansion and think it would be worth considering for SR:LE, pairs nicely with Private Eye's Heavy Armory (CCOR compatible) which you might also consider.
  19. BTW, has Solstheim the Lost Levels been considered for REGS? "Description: Solstheim – The Lost Levels is an add-on for the Dragonborn DLC that adds 6 caves, 8 plants, 1 book and 4 quests. The content is based on The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and its expansion, Bloodmoon."
  20. My concern is going to be with errors TES5Edit finds in individual plugins and any navmesh overlaps (primarily with REGS mods, outside of WR specifically). I'll navigate that this afternoon, I just relaized I included BCS in my early merge & BCS-LL (recently updated) is looking for it.

Those Master Merge lists were SR:LE + REGS + everything in the kitchen including the sink, just a proof of concept really (but successful in that they passed error check & didn't produce any additional face gen files). The important wrinkle to avoid seems to be having a master dependency in mix (if not merging it). In the two large merges I initially broke the master list of candidates in two (early in LOOT order, late in LOOT order) and then loaded the mess into TES5Edit to see where masters (like EBT, SIC) were loading and adjusted the lists accordingly - which meant only including plugins loading after those in the late group & everything else in the early, which was a bit more complicated as some items that needed grouped were quite spread out (book and cooking plugins for instances that needed their included masters, BCS & Cooking Expanded for example). tl;dr If it would be helpful I can give you a clean list or make a couple of SR:LE merge plugins and upload them to Copy for you to download and inspect. In the future it would be a list of instructions you'd post here, not completed files obviously due to permissions and such. My next hurdle to cross (as I've already merged SPO/ACE/MightyMagic and the lighting and weather for Serenity enb preset) is combining ETaC's patches where possible, the same for any other suitable REGS "real estate mods", and NPC content (like RS Children, Prince & Pauper and thier patches) including dropping the face gen files into a "mod" with the merged plugin. tl;dr Still trying to cram my favorite 500 plugin files into the 255 max to load by overly aggressive (and borderline irresponsible) merging.
  22. I think you are correct about isoku's MCM mods, but in general I wind up with corrupted menus if I try to incorporate any plugins with MCM. I'm not sure about scripts, but enough folks wiser than I in the ways of modding have warned against it that I took heed. Keith nailed it with the advice about not having masters hiding out in the TES5Edit load order. I strategically loaded all my suitable mods into an early and late group making sure that any masters were entirely before the merge group in order.   23. I was using Roadsigns Redone woth HiRes Roadsigns, I assume the Weathered Roadsigns for ETaC is a replacer for both?

The iron armor issue seems to occur with various combinations of mods, there is a thread on it (and SSR and DSR and various other mods possibly being responsible but no particular combination was reliably at fault) somewhere around here. Ultimately it seemed a better fix to just drop or keep the armor instead of savaging your install as it wasn't any particular mod & not an issue that caused instability later on. As fpr a CTD in AS-LAL after character creation and during insertion into the game proper, if you were able to successfully start after reboot, I would put my money on race menu character creation eating your memory. If you continue to have CTD after that then I'd start looking through your mods for conflicts.
  25. Is there an HDT capes & cloaks mod to compliment this? I would love to lose some of the cloak clipping I've long had, and combined with HDT-slung DSR gear that would be about perfect.
