SKYRIMLE Vivid Landscapes -- Castle Volkihar (By Hein83/Aron)
Noobsayer posted a topic in Skyrim LE Mods
NEXUS LINK By Hein83/Aron (sorry forgot it in topic title >.>; ) Vivid Landscapes parallax love for Castle Volkihar. -
Druid's Den is safely scripted. It's not going to eat your savegames. You really gotta get over that script phobia :P I've never had issues with mannequins and I've used it longterm. As for those other house mods, they may be good, but they're outside the scope of what I'm looking for here. Again, the focus is displays for unique items like Dragon Burial Map or Ysgramor's Soup Spoon etc. -- stuff that's not a weapon or armor (or a mask/dragon claw) but that is cool.

SKYRIMLE Real Shelter - Full Release (by Robinsage)
Noobsayer replied to EssArrBee's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
LOL I didn't notice the smilies when I posted. They seem rather trollish, eh? :) And yeah, non-CoT version, which was what particularly surprised me. -
SKYRIMLE Real Shelter - Full Release (by Robinsage)
Noobsayer replied to EssArrBee's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I tested the non-CoT version (since I don't use it) and I'm getting a pretty hefty amount of papyrus spam concerning CoT errors even with a short test run. I did NOT crash, so it may be harmless, but the volume kinda concerns me. Apparently several others are getting it too, any papyrus gurus got insight? Here's a snippet, definitely not all of it: -
Hehe yeah, I am a busy gal with a full-time job and who actually enjoys PLAYING games too, so I don't get a lot of stuff up. I try to make what I do post high quality, though. :) But thanks! And yes, Druid's Den is still technically a WIP (notably potion display is coming) but I adore it. Not only does all that stuff display, but she arranges it very artistically (alchemy ingredients and food being my favorites). As I said I highly recommend HD food/ingredients/clutter retextures, it really shows 'em off. :)

So I'm gonna pimp myself out here a little bit. I am an obsessive collector, but I like to display stuff too -- and not just armor and weapons, but all the fun little (often useless) uniques in Skyrim. So I did a lot of inventory-taking and house-mod slumming and put together a list. After all that, I figured I might as well pretty it up and share. :B Blog post: Best Skyrim House Mods for Collectors That said, a couple aren't on the list. Jaggarsfeld isn't because of disappearing Dawnbreaker issues. Pinetree Lodge isn't because the ghost versions before you display the real versions take away from the fun (imo). Someone did point out Dragonborn Gallery as one I should check out, which I will do, but if you guys know of others that should be included, please let me know!

SKYRIMLE Better Towns Textures by Raphou112
Noobsayer replied to EssArrBee's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Looks like this was updated with No Snow Under the Roof compatibility again. An FYI to those who want both :) -
Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback
Noobsayer replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Oh has it been updated? OK, I'll check it out. It's been super helpful for tracking down screwups on my part so I appreciate it. I should probably pick a time other than 3 a.m. to do conflict resolution for accuracy's sake, but that seems like when it always happens at my house LOL. Thank you :) -

No I mean specifically will I end up with missing masters or have to remove older edits n such. :) -
Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback
Noobsayer replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Won't have a chance to look at it myself until tomorrow at earliest, but will there be problems updating my old CR patch to the new AoS? Or will I have to start over? Starting over would be sad :( lol -
I admit I haven't read every single post, but is it possible you could have a corrupt mesh somewhere? Those will definitely give "surreal" crashes till you narrow it down.

DAT RING <3 Omg, finally someone's doing the rings right!

SKYRIMLE Skyrim Immersive Creatures (by lifestorock)
Noobsayer replied to phazer11's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Keep in mind the MCM has a LOT of toggles to let you turn certain creatures off an on. I'd check that first. -
SKYRIMLE No empty tag on empty containers
Noobsayer replied to JudgmentJay's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
For some reason I can skip containers in Skyrim. I am obsessive about any sort of game mechanic that requires collecting, though. Or like those stupid Riddler puzzles in Arkham Asylum, god I wasted SO MUCH OF MY LIFE doing those things, lol. /offtopic I think this is gonna be one of those polarizing mods where either you really like it or it drives you batty, lol. -
ACCEPTED Book Covers Skyrim (by DanielCoffey and doccdr)
Noobsayer replied to dstansberry's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
This definitely gets my vote for inclusion. Thanks to this mod I now want to collect all the books, and I haven't run across a single one that wasn't well done after playing with this for quite awhile :) -
SKYRIMLE No empty tag on empty containers
Noobsayer replied to JudgmentJay's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Nope, check it out in TES5Edit. Very small change. :) I've been using it and I don't personally find it tedious -- but then I never searched every single container anyway. -
SKYRIMLE Travel Mounts - for fast travel by Manaflow
Noobsayer replied to Kuldebar's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I dunno. This seems like one of those things where if you want to fast travel, you will, if you don't, you police it yourself. By the time I've gone so far as to get my horse and ride it awhile, I might as well just ride it the rest of the way imo. Different strokes for different folks and all that, I just personally don't see the point. Fast travel is already disabled to places you haven't discovered, right? Having a horse already has a purpose for me, because it's a faster way to go from point A to point B ... without skipping content. -
ACCEPTED Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade (by kryptopyr)
Noobsayer replied to statmonster's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
You can speed up smithing experience via Skyrim Community Uncapper, with some edits to the ini. -
Seasons of Skyrim ENB True HDR (by bronze316)
Noobsayer replied to TechAngel85's topic in Post Processing
I prefer the Tribute version of this. Imo it walks the line between realism and fantasy nicely, but then I'm not a hardcore realism fan. :) -
Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback
Noobsayer replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Neo, JawZ has commented on Serenity ENB about incorporating USKP changes and the value of doing so. Since you've been meticulously carrying them forward, I thought you might wanna lay some knowledge on him via PM. :B -
SKYRIMLE No empty tag on empty containers
Noobsayer replied to JudgmentJay's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I just stumbled across this little gem. I don't ... really have anything to add to that other than it works as advertised and I think it's a nice touch. -
So it's got some dirty edits and a weird collision issue in Winterhold for now. Notified the author and I expect he'll work on a fix. They look really good though and no conflicts minus a Dawnguard entry that wasn't forwarded. After testing I definitely think it has some promise. :)

Also Immersive Armors has built-in support for UNP, and there are full mesh replacers for all the vanilla stuff already out there. -
No conflicts with ELFX interiors or exteriors, RWT, Skyrim Improved Puddles. It didn't even conflict with that "No Snow Under the Roof" thing that edits the whole building.
