So ... new lands. Been using SRLE for a long time now, and for good reason. However, Falskaar and Wyrmstooth are a bit old at this point. Not saying they aren't polished (though tbh Falskaar didn't thrill me) but I'd love to see some new "new lands" get some love. For my personal game Gray Cowl and Beyond Reach look sizeable, and come August I believe the full version of Apotheosis will be released. Any chance we would ever see these included instead? While we're at it, with the current version ... am I likely to experience instability if I were to slap Gray Cowl and Beyond Reach on top of full SRLE, or should I strip out FS and WT before doing that you think? -

Langley's texture workshop also retextures the skidmarks but not the footprints. FYI for anyone considering compares. -

I notice hitching when crossing cell boundaries. I tried removing OBIS (and started a fresh game) since it adds extra scans; helped a bit perhaps but it's still there. SiC is set to no extra spawns as well. I only added a couple of items on top of SRLE, none of them scripted. What's the most likely culprit? XMPSE? It applies skeletons by script now, right? Just trying to smooth out my gameplay a bit. My rig is not quite as powerful as yours. -

Updating to most recent XPMSE and rerunning FNIS seemed to do the trick. Thanks. :) Out of curiosity, is there a reason you don't use the glowmaps for DynDOLOD? -

Having a bit of trouble with weapon styles. I seem to be unable to get my daggers on the back hip, even choosing that option in the MCM. It puts it at my ankle and animations are not matching up. I did use the randomize option (and the XMPSE version at the time I downloaded the patch.) XPMSE has been updated since then, though. Is it possible that's the issue? My installation is full SRLE with Morrowloot Ultimate and relevant patches on top. I did install Immersive Animations exactly according to the guide, and I did run FNIS. -

I have a problem with this also. I do not see the Alternate Start patch for Even Better Quest Objectives when I load up the standalone mod merge tool. I see all the other patches, the Alternate Start patch is definitely checked in the right pane of MO, but it does not show up in the merge tool. -

Has anyone run into trouble getting Windows SDK for Win 7 to install? I really need it because I want to compile a simple script (huge thanks Neo for providing clear instructions on setting up the CK!) but when I try to install it, it fails halfway through. The error message doesn't really say anything, tells me to check below to resolve the issue but it ... doesn't tell me what to resolve/what the issue is. If no one else has I'll keep digging, I just hoped someone might have also run into this issue. -

I see the guide hasn't been updated for either the latest SFO or Realistic Aspen. Is this preference (I remember the SFO pines were a bit bright there for a couple of editions) or just haven't gotten around to it? :) -

Hmm, I did peek under the advanced tab before but didn't think I changed anything. Still, I made sure "Generate DynDOLOD" was checked this time and then did the normal process and it seems to have worked correctly (got the SKSE folder this time). Thanks for the help. :) -

I may be remembering wrong, but shouldn't the output from the latest DYNDOLOD (updated just a day or so ago) generate an SKSE folder as well? I know the instructions said you didn't have to rerun, but I wanted a different level of detail so I reran anyways. I made sure to completely reinstall TES5Edit (from the dev forum) and the TES5Edit scripts from the new DynDOLOD. It ran OK, though at the end it gave me some error about "Another instance of the .exe is running, click OK when it's closed" (or something to that effect). I clicked OK, it started running a script again and a short bit later it finished. I do have the MCM when I test in-game, but I did not ever notice the "DynDOLOD successfully initiated" notice I remembered from before. (EDIT: This is with a new, test game. Nothing should be left over.) If no one else is having these problems though, I'll just repeat with a fresh install and let it run again while I'm at work or something. -

So I only just looked at the ELFX patch for Realistic Room Rental Enhanced (before I've always used the basic version). It seems all the patch does is revert any changes ELFX made. While that makes sense for things like light placement (since RRR redecorates), it also overwrites things like emittance changes. Doesn't that mean, essentially, we don't get the benefit of ELFX when inside inns? -

Once we've run the Dynamic LOD feature, is there any reason to keep the billboards file from TES5LODGen? Trying to free up some space on my harddrive. :) -

You're assuming stuff like "Nif scanner: fix getting string by invalid index" means anything to the average user, lol. But, thank you for the help. Looks fantastic in-game, even on just medium. -

I saw that link but I didn't know if it were an alpha or what, because it didn't say at all. The recommendation was "higher than version 1930" but it's all the way up to 1945 now, and no indication of how that compared to the Nexus version (that's pretty recent). Is there any way that arcane version number can be converted to something more meaningful (compared to the Nexus version) for the future? -

Tried this for the first time. When I hit OK on apply script (I'm using DynDoLODsWorld, following the SRLE guide) I get this message: I reinstalled the latest version of TES5Edit on the Nexus, version 3_1, and tried rerunning but no dice. A search showed somebody had an error in unit optionsform error, but the only response was "I'll fix it" so I dunno really where to go from there. :) -
