  1. I have this in my load order along with Enhanced Skyrim Factions - The Companions. Now we just need one of these barrier-to-entry mods for the mage college. It really helps to make your character feel more specialized if they can only join one or two factions.
  2. From my understanding it's almost impossible for something to break when you remove ITMs since when you remove them... you still have the exact same thing in the master. The mod is just making that information needlessly redundant. Correct me if I'm wrong!
  3. Yeah, I was looking through that list and alot of them were pretty mediocre. Definitely not the same caliber as the armors side of the mod.
  4. I want to say that SLI and crossfire cards have to keep copies of one anothesr VRAM, making their actual pool of VRAM resources closer to 1gb, even if they have 2gb of memory available (due to redundancy). That's exactly what z929669 said.
  5. I'm kinda with Starac on this one. Amazing concept, but the unrealistic textures kill it for me.
  6. I believe there was a SkyRe patch added in the last few days, but v6 will probably break it again.
  7. Immersive Weapons beta optional file added to Immersive Armors. Adds ~200 weapons from various weapon mods... some craftable, some on leveled lists, and some found at static locations. They've been balanced so as to not be overpowered as well. You can see a list of the weapons added in the readme or in the mod comments. Not sure if I'll use this as I feel like it might be a bit too much, but still worth checking out.
  8. https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/26706/ Adds (stronger) armored skeletons to the level lists. Right now they only wear iron, steel, and leather, but the author commented that he's going to add higher tier armors to higher level skeletons. Unfortunately it also adds new creatures (Lich/Nether Lich... you can see it in the screenshots) to higher levels so it's not exactly core STEP material, but it looks pretty cool and will add some variety to enemies.
  9. There is a performance version because this mod uses scripts for its functionality. If I recall correctly the script basically continually scans for books you've read and applies the ~(read) title to the title if you have. In the performance version the script runs less frequently.
  10. Yeah, if I recall correctly they WORK, but as Besidilo said, they're stretched and look pretty bad. I think the only way I could make a wallpaper mod is if I put alot of effort into making my Skyrim photogenic (Cinematic ENBs, female body mods, etc) and doing very high quality in-game screenshots. Seems like too much effort.
  11. A couple months ago I made a 2560x1600 main menu wallpaper for myself (static image, not random or anything) by tweaking the mesh that one of the VictoriaG main menu wallpapers use. I discovered that most of these mods (at the time) used the Skyrim Civil War map mesh, which is actually pretty terrible. It's relatively flat, but it's got some discoloration/gradient lighting attached to it as well as some bending which results in a slightly warped image. Hard to notice unless comparing side-by-side though. Not sure if the newer ones use a better mesh. I was tempted to upload it to Nexus, but there's a real lack of 2560x1600 Skyrim images outside of in-game screenshots. If you 27-30" monitor users have some images in mind I could probably turn it into something worthwhile.
  12. Not sure, I haven't tested it. According to the comments the CTDs occur when you're using the latest versions of iHUD, SkyUI (v2.2. The v3 alpha seems to minimize the crashes), and SKSE. Opening and closing menus will cause the crash as well as certain console commands such as the time freeze one. According to Mardoxx, one of the SkyUI devs:
  13. Never any love for 1440/1600p users :(
  14. It doesn't work perfectly, but it only crashes under certain conditions. That said, the problem is not iHUD... it's SKSE. The SKSE team is working on it and a fixed version should be out very soon. Then, in theory, iHUD should be CTD-free.
  15. Yeah, this actually looks pretty good. New and different environments is a good thing! Anyone else notice it's only announced on XBox? I thought that deal ended.
  16. He recommended Better Rocks and Mountains before his mod covered rocks/mountains. So for install order I'm going with USKP -> No stretching -> TPC (without Better Rocks and Mountains obviously) -> WATER. That way I get SMIM's rock meshes which are superior due to higher polygon count and the extra wet rocks from WATER.
  17. Yes, all the meshes that begin with rock should be in the /meshes/landscape/rocks folder.
  18. Updated to include mine floors, cliffs, rocks, and mountains. So now this mod conflicts with USKP, SMIM, Better Rocks and Mountains, and WATER (if you use the 'extra wet rocks' optional meshes). A side note, it looks like Better Rocks and Mountains has an incorrect file structure (as does TPC since it doesn't correct it). It has all the rocks in the /meshes/landscape/mountains folder instead of the /meshes/landscape/rocks. Oops!
  19. Both Better Rocks & Mountains and No stretching are completely free from conflict with SMIM/USKP.
  20. Anyone have any more experience with pre5b? Would it be advisable to use the recommended pre3 settings referenced at the start of this thread and leave the new options at default?
  21. That's only if you're using a second proxy .dll for extra post-processing. In this case it's set up for the optional FXAA injector that comes with Project ENB. If you aren't using it, you can set EnableProxyLibrary and InitProxyFunctions to false if you want, but I don't think there's any harm in leaving them set to true.
  22. I mentioned in the TPC thread that there are about 30 textures/normals that aren't covered by TPC (or any STEP mod) in this package. Looks pretty good.
  23. https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/26269 This mod looks like it could be a good addition to TPC. There around 30 textures/normals in this package not covered by TPC (or any other STEP mod for that matter), and judging from the images it's good quality.
  24. Good stuff with the new version. New ground models, balance fixes, and my favorite... armors added by the mod are now in their own sub-menu.
  25. Yeah I saw that. I'll still give it a shot.
