  1. Too be honest I think that in general most of us have more issues with specific .ini settings than texture resolution for infinite loading screens at least.
  2. You using terrain bump? I assume you are at least with your tester setup.
  3. My brain is fried atm otherwise I'd tell you more than "looking at your mod list makes my head hurt more!"
  4. The newer versions of the ENB vsync seemed to fix it for me but I didn't get a chance to look extensively before **** got complicated.
  5. I confuse you... how? I've had an off and very busy Saturday so my brain is a little fried. I did mix you and Torminator up so I feel terrible lol. Yes you should give me the new one. @OP What kind of computer are you looking for? Is it just a computer for Skyrim/STEP and maybe a media center or will you be looking for other games (I think I said that right as I said brain is >V<)
  6. Hi again copywrite... Please post your mod list as it is now and also are these CTD's occuring even after you start a new game (After removing encounter zones and the ini changes, and other mod changes)? If you aren't then start one and play for a while if there is no CTD you're good if there is come back and report.
  7. Well then my laptop is very much superior in terms of cost/performance. My rig is only slightly weaker than Aiyen's and it's a laptop that I paid $1400(USD)Â (including the extra 240GB SSD) for +$275 for a 3 year Best Buy Accidental Damage plan so if you include the plan $1675 and convert Aiyen's price. Aiyen's price (in USD): $2401.20 Mine in USD (total): $1675 Mine in USD (without Damage Plan):$1400 Yeah... wow Also I paid $60 for the game and didn't need to purchase any more software as I still had licenses. But $800 is significant. Never mind... I just realized it was torminator that said that... it's been a long day. Torminator wins in the price category. Though my laptop does play Skyrim with an ENB amazingly well. ~35FPS with Aiyen's ENB maxed out. If I were to put a new desktop together from the ground up I'd be looking @ around $1600-1800(1199.40-1349.33 Euro) for top of the line stuff. Now to just play Skyrim with STEP base I'd imagine you could build a machine for between $850-1000 if you picked your parts out wisely.
  8. I'm not going to bother answering the OP but the reason Mod Organizer is used rather than NMM is because of the way things are overwritten. In NMM if you wish to change the install order you have to uninstall a mod(s) then reinstall in whatever order you wish your mods to now be in. In Mod Organizer you install or update and then you can drag mods up or down the list changing your load order or simply input the position you want it to be in via the keyboard. That's about the simplest explanation I can give as to why, but it's not the only reason.
  9. Your mountain side also looks weird and blocky (that outcrop in the upper right of the middle third)
  10. I like WATER but mainly because of the extras otherwise it's a toss up for me.
  11. This thread has brought out my meticulous and anal nature. Texture compare mode initialized! Sadly I never did get around to that DDSOpt video. My documentary is mostly done I set a deadline for Monday. @Z and slightly off topic how are you and Kelmych coming with the DDSOpt guide. Also wtf is up with my poll results? I didn't vote for BoS - C&M I voted for aMB.Â
  12. You're... kidding.
  13. It will be my next batch of compares as I still am not satisfied with my locations for Langleys which will be a PITA. I should have it within the week and hopefully the DDSOpt video too if all goes well especially if you and Kelmych iron out a few things in the DDSOpt guide.
  14. Sorry techangel I think the votes so far make a case against what I feel is improper reasoning on your part. If you look at most of the compares Cabals textures are much closer to current STEP than Beauty of Skyrim and in my personal opinion better. That is not to say the normals or UV maps couldn't be worked on but we're talking mostly about diffuse maps and normals here and as always Cabal has delivered. That's my opinion take it for what you will.
  15. There's a tool that should allow you to delete everything but the sweetfx file with the click of a button. It's called ENB and FXAA Remover look it up on the Nexus.
  16. I would say it does from what I've seen in Gopher's Let's Play I'd say it's mostly as good or better than Dragonborn.
  17. Thought I'd make a playlist of the songs I like as I found them on youtube (in general I own them).
  18. Salmon Vanilla >> STEP >> Pondfish Vanilla >> STEP >> Pondfish
  19. Histcarp Vanilla >> STEP >> Pondfish Abecean Longfin Vanilla >> STEP >> Pondfish Cyrodilic Spadetail Vanilla >> STEP >> Pondfish
  20. Silverside Perch Vanilla >> STEP >> Pondfish River Betty Vanilla >> STEP >> Pondfish
  21. Wait which one was that I must of missed it I thought I'd seen them all.
  22. Here you are you paranoid weirdoes. https://phazer11.minus.com/mp9YQxAjP8shP
  23. Oh I totally forgot to upload these to minus yesterday I'll do so in a minute it's not storming it's ass off tonight like it has been the past few days.
  24. I personally never cared much for tapatalk (used it a couple times a year or so ago). Anyways I have no problems using a web browser on my tablet, I can't say the same for my phone despite it's large screen... But my tablet is almost everywhere my phone goes so no matter. I use a ASUS Transformer btw and the default browser and dolphin browser are quite good. Firefox for Android is still quite atrocious. I actually use my tablet for checking things like conflicts when I'm installing mods or performing a fresh Skyrim Revisited install and need to make sure I copy the right things over.
