I would also recommend looking at BFS (Burn Freeze Shock Effects mod) it causes more problems than DSI if I recall correctly.

I find it practical to play ad upgrade on a laptop... then again something invariably happens to my laptops after 1.5-2 years (BEST BUY's Accidental Damage plan it is a lifesaver). I try to fix them but usually it's beyond repair. Power surge took out the ac/dc charging port luckily the hard drive was savable. I was using the same model laptop techangel (I think) is using (ASUS G75SW) before I got this beastly LT (with money enough to spare to buy a warranty from the accidental damge plan of my other one). That being said I know a few people that have had the same laptop for several years. Zed if you're going to spend $1500 you can easily get a new generation i7 cpu, motherboard, case and stuff. Without looking for better prices anywhere other than newegg or doing any research (though the only thing I really don't know is how much the IMC on the Haswell chips can handle) here is a $1550 build. No monitor or HDD but I assume unless you're building your first pc you already have those.

Oh I could do it without BOSS. I wouldn't recommend anyone do it however. I always use BOSS as a base then move things down or up depending on my experience. If the BOSS load order annoys me then IÂ add a rule in BUM

I'll be doing my usual OCD compares (somewhat like I did with the cave compares) when I get done with the DDSOpt video and will make sure the places I choose have good lighting. Hey... maybe I can trim another 10 minutes or so off the video (I doubt I could cut yet another 20 minutes off the length we'll see). Anyways this will be my next mission. Deathwing's compares are good so I'd much rather you focus on compares that have not been done yet so the the time spent is more productive. Efficiency is the goal! Oh for the most part his compares are good but as I said it's something I have to do, efficiency be da... danged. I won't be doing the exact same compares I'll likely be doing them with the full contingent of Langley mods (except for the Dwemer stuff).

Yeah the 2k is an improvement from 1k but 4k from 2k is just not worth it. I can see a minor difference but the amount of extra resources it would use would be completely stupid for the level of extra detail provided.

I would imagine he added waves to the Vampire's castle and shoreline of that island they live on and that's why it requires Dawnguard. It would be nice to have a wave plugin without that and or even the Solstheim changes.

I'm personally waiting for Aiyen's. He's a perfectionist and he's making the shaders himself he's shown me some teaser screenshots and I say once he fixes the bloom it'd be a release worthy ENB preset but no he's going the extra several miles. Otherwise I still like Aiyen's old pre-ENBoost ENB even if it doesn't have the Memory features the newer binaries have. I've used Pineapple Vision ENB before and that was nice, I haven't checked on it in a while though so I don't know if it's been updated for ENBoost yet. It's a bit dark even for an ENB though so it's not for everyone though there are many different presets under that page.

So does anyone else here play LoL? I assume this is where I should ask. Anyways just wondering if we had enough players on here to make a couple groups or a chat channel. I'm on the NA server.

And what is the difference between the two SR?SR:LE is a rework of the Skyrim Revisited guide. Skyrim Revisited was largely developed before the last Skyrim patch was released (along with the Legendary Edition of the game) and many of the mods need to either be rechecked for TES5Edit compatibility issues, re-ordered in the load order, ditched due to issues like scripts, etc. Last I heard SR:LE isn't even in beta testing yet though someone leaked the link and people use it and then complain it doesn't work properly lmao. Neo's "on a break" so he probably won't be working on it for a bit either.

Odd... I've never had a problem with Nexus not notifying me of something. I check mine too but I've never gone to a mod page I'd tracked and it had been updated without receiving a notification about it. The problem is... I rarely visit Nexus. Especially the last week or so that I've been working on this video (which I guess no one has had the time to review it is long I know...)

Page Memory or the Page File or "Virtual Memory" as Windows calls it is a section or file on your OS disk (the one you have Windows installed on). I'm not familiar with how ENBoost (haven't actually played the game in a while) lets you go over the limit so I'd have to defer to one of the members who has. I would however like to see any of the screenshots of the Skyrim Performance Monitor graphs that you have (if you took some which I hope you did otherwise I won't be able to help very much). I would say that if your system is using your page file then yes it is possible that it is causing at the least stuttering (and possibly freezes) depending on the type of drive. If it's a HDD what rpm speed is it? SSD's don't usually cause problems with stuttering or freezes if the game needs to offload something into the page file and then dump it really fast.

Well I'm torn. For my personal use I'd likely use Langley's because I don't know about you but all of the carpenter's I've met (only two) take great pride in their work and making it not only functional but decorative and I believe Langley captures this. I don't like current STEP in the compares provided so far. I like Langley's bed sheets as well. Also does anyone else feel that it seems unlike Langley to not retexture the interior walls as well (they look pretty **** bad in all of the shots)?

Well running those Papyrus log settings when you aren't having problems will cause problems. Those tweaks further increase the load on the skyrim engine and the game's engine isn't very robust to begin with. Unless you are experiencing a repeatable crash, freeze or ILS then leave the papyrus settings off.

It looks like you did it right (nice job btw). Though I wouldn't worry with it I'll just wind up doing everything again to make sure. I'm anal about these (did you see the list of compares I did for aMidianBorn Caves, Hectrols, Snow and Rocks HD, The Beauty of Skyrim, and Vanilla; link? It was something like 250 compares :-P). William Imm is going to remind Neovalen and get me something to work with.
