But it IS needed if you are installing the 2.2.8 Core Patch because it is listed as one of its masters. The patch is there to forward changes from all the mods in Core to make them work together without issues. -

Oops... Edited my post before your response. Well.. generally, no, it doesn't matter if the esp is disabled or not present at all. However, if the esp in question is linked to a BSA then it does matter and in which case I'd suggest you read through this thread.

Yes. That's a good thing, though. Whenever you want to enable the esp(s) they're already in the right order. If you are unconvinced by LOOT's order, you can always check for conflicts with TES5Edit.

I'd be hard-pressed to believe someone of your considerable skill isn't able to adapt to Bethesda's bad UV mapping and create floor textures that blend better with the dirt. But, if you say so, I can just hide the floor textures and keep the rest. No harm done. -

Yeah, the slate floor is one of the textures I like most from the pack. Really makes a world of difference in the Heartfire manors. I also prefer the funky slate floor from CaBal's, Tech. -
Whoaa, I'll definitely help with the Dwemer stuff. I was recently looking for Dwemer retextures on the Nexus but didn't find any, Didn't come across that one for sure! EDIT: Should I test the clean version too? Doesn't really make sense to do so, everybody is gonna be like "They look like they were made just last night! Yada yada".

When I first came to the forums I think I did a topic about this same issue along with other questions. I don't actually remember who was the one who helped me (was it you Aiyen?) but it really improved my game a lot. Here's a not so recent image with the improved horizon: Before, it used to be a very noticeable black bar without any fading whatsoever. Believe me, this is much better! -

For testing I used it over STEP. But I'll be putting it before Detailed Rugs, Rustic Windows and Whiterun Trellis for my own game. -

I don't know why my theme doesn't emit the hover event, it's just a tweaked Black High-Contrast. But not to worry, I can just go back to Basic whenever I install mods that use fomods. Thanks a lot. -

Load your Extended patch and the DB patch for EBT in TES5Edit. Open both their contents. As you'll see, the EBT DB patch contains very few records, find them in your STEP Extended patch. Right click > "Remove". Click "Yes" when prompted. Do this for all relevant records. Right click your patch > Click "Clean Masters". -

Oh, it's AA? Hmm, I thought it was bloom or soft particles. Haven't done much tweaking with ENBoost cause my PC can't handle a preset so I just use it for detailed shadows, parallax and obviously memory. Btw, can somebody tell me the correct name of those? -

Can somebody tell me why the heck there is an aura around the fire in the amm.. what are they called? (English is not my native language!) Like the ones standing on either side of the bridge in the above picture. EDIT: I meant this one. As for my vote, I am completely sold on this mod. Sure, I don't love every single one of the textures but, overall, I really prefer it to current STEP. -

Hey osmodius, welcome to the forums! As for me, I'm grateful that you have created/released various options for people with different tastes. IMO, the Alternate Wall fits Solitude just right and I think you did an excellent job there. i'd have also put that as the main download (just because it keeps the Vanilla feel much more so than your default) but that choice is your own and I really don't mind downloading one more link. I really love the way Solitude looks with your mod. Terrific job, man! As for Windhelm, I think the parallax and textures you have done to the walls is a much, much welcomed addition to my game. However, as you can see in the next few comparison shots between your mod and SRO, the floor has clipping issues and it really could benefit if you'd blend it better. This is just constructive criticism and I hope you don't take it personally. -

Ess, could you post comparison shots from atop the stairs in Dragonsreach, overviewing the city? And another one overviewing the plains district? It's just that my game needs some shadow tweaking and it just wouldn't look right if I did it. Also, if you could, some shots where the Gildergreen is, comparing Whiterun Trellis Redesigned and AMB? -

I like these.. V2 has some very cool intricate patterns. Still, I think it could benefit from some shading or.. you know, something to make it blend better. As it is, it is not subtle at all and just seems like paint, imo. I'll try them in-game anyway.

Recently picked this up. Actually, probably when I was browsing through your endorsements.. I think I picked Iron & Stone for one and Copper for the other.. Not sure though, haven't paid much attention to it with all the testing I've recently done. Which ones are you using?

The thing is, as shown in my screens, some textures are used for both exteriors and interiors (like rubble). Hiding one or the other will only leave you with a mix of both in both exteriors and interiors! Tell you what, download DDSViewer and you tell us which files would need to be hidden for them to work nicely. -

@Ess: Yes! I agree with all of the above. An insightful comparison, my friend. I think you put it rather nicely: while SRO took vanilla as a base and tweaked and expanded (you decide the degree) on Vanilla, Cabal's work is always done from scratch. Starac's work was also done as part of his massive undertaking of retexturing a lot in a relatively short period of time. Cabal, as I understand it, has the desire to also cover Skyrim from head to toe but he has no rush to do so and you can clearly see the effort of re-envisioning Vanilla without ever sticking to just tweaking it. @Aiyen: I am using ENBoost with ParallaxBugsFixed (I think that's the line?).. I'm just not using any presets.
