  1. I kinda like the idea. Just as Aiyen I said, an easier to view layout for the Conflicts tab would be nice.. I'm already used to the current one so I never mentioned it, but still.
  2. ASIS.esp is missing Wyrmstooth as a master. What parts do I delete from the inis if I don't use Wyrmstooth?
  3. Just dropped BDS so yeah, I'll wait for your patch, Ess.
  4. Thanks, man. EDIT: Got an error saying: "Error reading IncreasedSpawns.ini [FactionExclusions], WTFallenAventurerFaction could not be resolved to a faction. Ignoring."
  5. That is such an awesome improvement from Brumbeck, that man deserves a medal. Ess, how do I merge these esps into my patch? They have STAT records that can't just be "copy and override into" cause it would need to add them as masters. I tried doing the same trick as with Game Settings, Add > STAT - Static > typed any number with first two digits being the patch's # > copied Editor ID from SMIM > paste on newly created STAT but of course I can't drag and drop because this has a new Form ID as well. Same for the Placed Objects on the Worldspace Sub-Blocks. A bit lost..
  6. Oh.. I didn't realize the link is named IncreasedSpwans.ini. Gotcha. But.. you say it replaces 2 of the ini files? What other ini file other than IncreasedSpwans.ini does it replace?
  7. Sorry if this has been asked a million times: that modified ini you link to, what do I name that file? ASIS.ini? or do I divide it like the part about spawn goes into increased spawns.ini or what? Do I actually install ASIS Improved ini files and then overwrite those with your ini file?
  8. Perhaps that is because both of those aim to stay true to Vanilla, stuff like Real Wood Textures just massively change the look and feel of farmhouses. Not saying they look bad, not at all, it's just not the Vanilla feel. Sticking to Cabal's for now, except for the thatch, I use Langley's for those. Windows on these are very nice, though. Are you using the whole set, Kulde?
  9. I have some weird inconsistencies playing with HLE Hardocore + ASIS + Duel. I go up to Valtheim Towers and the bandit pilferer (lvl 30) that asks for a fee to pass through kills me every single time with one swing if I don't manage to block her and I'm 14 levels higher than her. This is on Apprentice and Novice settings. So I think, screw it, if she's that tough, the bandit chief is going to be vicious and virtually impossible to kill so, I pay the fee, whatever, wasn't going there anyway. A little up the road I encounter a mature troll (lvl 40) and he does little to no damage to me and I kill him off rather effortlessly, what's that about?
  10. Don't know if this has been already sorted out, my comment didn't make it past the outage. Mena and Ainethach need some BOYD patching with ETaC onto the STEP - Extended patch, I think..
  11. Hmm, I thought STEP recommended the PLUS version, I've been using it all along!
  12. Well, the SMIM mod is included in the STEP Core patch, so get that if you haven't. Otherwise, you can easily patch it to any file, it's such a small change it's not worth a whole esp slot, so patch it. I personally sort Skyfalls before RWT and it works without issues but you could probably sort it at the bottom of Landscaping as well. Same for SRTO, I guess, though I personally don't use them. NSUTR does have instructions on his mod page, I believe, but this one too can probably be sorted at the bottom of Landscaping or NSUtR, then BDS, then the patch for both, which is how I sort them. Don't know about the others..
  13. Well, haven't received any reply yet.. There's also these stairs (ID: 030126ab, Base ID: 03019921) from the the same "building". The Soul Cairn's been really the first place I've encounter so far in this playthrough with this type of bugs. At the Boneyard, where you fight Durnheviir, there was floating grass everywhere (1, 2), which you can imagine, was very distracting and annoying while fighting all of his minions. Strangely, he only summoned bonemen this time, no wrathmen or mistmen. I'm lvl 43 atm so I don't know if it's something to do with that. It was tough enough though, not complaining! With all the mods I have changing difficulty and combat, I died loads of times with Apprentice difficulty. EDIT: Vaguely related, after the first (successful) time I went out to the Volkihar Balcony, every time I want to go out to it now I CTD for some reason. Doesn't happen anywhere else that I know of and I can get out of the ruins via the Courtyard and where I came in from but still, very odd.
  14. It's been very helpful indeed, this last couple of days.. Patched lots of Feminine Females, EEO stuff that wasn't carrying over BOYD, Consistent Older People and USKP data. Lots of other things as well, can't remember now but very instructive manual, thanks again Ess.
  15. lol It's because your character is such a f**ckin' bad-ass!!Everyone's afraid of you! Believe, believe, the Dragonborn comes!
  16. That seemed to do the trick. Thanks again, Ess. I don't know why it won't let me drag n' drop certain records, for example I can't drag n' drop Faction records from USKP to EEO. Anyway.. I just downloaded that FO3Edit manual. Is it safe to say everything works the same way in TES5Edit? Thanks for all the help!
  17. That's some weird stuff going on there! I'll stay away from this new version until it has been more thoroughly tested, by others..
  18. 200 pages?! Holly sh..cow, that would be a rather massive undertaking, indeed! OK Ess, I know I've bothered you enough already but bare with me please: is there a special method to merge mods that alter Region Data if some the entries are present on both mods except with different Weather Types? In other words, how do I patch AOS_CoT with STEP Core since the Core patch already has the same Region FormIDs but obviously with Vanilla Weather. Or perhaps it's not a good idea to merge these two? Copy-override into doesn't work, nor drag-dropping, is it better to just sort AOS_CoT after the Core Patch instead of merging?
  19. Just sent him a PM through Nexus. Hehe I thought that it had to do with the Unofficial Patches but I didn't know about the last P.
  20. Who are the UPP guys? Is Brumbek part of the STEP Staff or moderators? Should I just message him on the Nexus? I'm thinking he probably gets a thousand emails a day of people with troubleshooting questions so it might take a while... But what else, right? Thanks Ess.
  21. Aaah, got it. Thank you very much for you help, Ess! Maaan, this is such an awesome forum!
  22. Thank you so much, my friend. I did as you said and used STEP Core Patch as a base and then copied and overrode EBT_DB_DG patch, AOS_EBT and No Spinning Death Animation, as you just pointed out that it's OK to merge. I also tried to merge Ragdolls and Force but when I tried it it warned me that I would have to make Ragdolls and Force a master, which didn't make sense of course. Lastly, I know CoT isn't supported by STEP anymore but I'm still using it and I was wondering if you could help me with this too. When I tried overriding AOS_CoT patch to my CORE patch, it wouldn't show me the option to do so. There were lots of conflicts and I couldn't forward the changes from the AOS patch manually either so, how do I merge this one?
  23. Thanks guys. So tihis is what I got after installing MFG: ID: 0300403C Base ID: 03019921 Locate: Dawnguard.esm Define: Dawnguard.esm  So this means nothing is overwriting these stairs? What should I do?
  24. Hey, thanks a lot for your patching guide, Ess. I recently did my own "CORE" patch which includes all of SMIM's esps, NoNPCGreetings, WAF_GDO patch, EBT_DB_DG patch and ICS_EBT patch and a personal must have, NoSnekAttackSound. Everything is working as intended, no problems whatsoever. Buuuuut, half an hour ago I decided that it was finally time to check out AOS and say goodbye for now to SoS. And so I tried merging my CORE patch with all of the STEP Extended patches for AOS, save the WnC patch, but I got a ton of errors. Then I did a merge patch containing all of the AOS patches previously mentioned and it merged without conflicts so I compared it to my CORE patch and it seems all of the errors occurred because of the Weapon entries from GDO but as far as I can tell most of the conflicts liay in that they use a different keyword slot for the same keyword. That, and other minor changes. Anyway, question is: do you do your patches using the "Copy and override into" function rather than the merging script? For the sake of simplicity (and inexperience) do you see anything wrong with just sorting my AOS Patches before my CORE patch to have all of the WAF_GDO being effected?
