Yeah, I know it's not a good card but I didn't know about STEP when I bought it and I don't know much about computers rigs and specs in general so I just bought what was available and, as I don't live in the US, it wasn't $35, more like $57. I'll worry about it when I can but I wonder if a gtx 400 and up can be handled by my motherboard and CPU, again I'm clueless about these things. I am not completely sure it worked as intended, keith. Recently killed wolves' corpses were still there when I got out from Lakeview Manor. I take it this only resets them and doesn't clean cells? -

Cheers keith! You know what, I'll do that. I'll also have to rebuild my patch for Sounds of Skyrim but that shouldn't be a problem. I use CoT and I haven't seen any overlit campfires so far, I think I'll finally give RCRN a try for my next LP. I've been using ELFX and it's modules for aaages now but I do want to use REGS and I haven't checked but I'm also thinking it probably conflicts with HHO and probably BCE. My system specs are: i3 2120 CPU @3.30 GHz; 4GB RAM; ASUS 210 Silent 1GB DDR3; Win 7 HP x64. I'd thought of making a thread about what I should upgrade first but I really don't have any money to spend on upgrading right now so I'll just have to live with it for now and avoid torturing myself ::. My game does suffer from low FPS, sometimes quite badly, but I'm not going back to playing unmodded to get better performance! -

@Kulde: Yeah, Apollo was anything but helpful when I asked for help.. Thanks Kulde, I'll try the movetoqt command, although I suspect it'll be the same as player.moveto since talking to Atub is the next thing I have to do. @keith: Thanks man but I'm not really comfortable messing with TES5Edit other than making simple patches like patching Sounds of Skyrim and ELFX. I discovered she was in there cause when I was going to deliver the daedra heart and troll fat the map marker was pointing to a place in the mountain atop Angarvunde, I tried to get up there but I saw no way to do it. I used Clairvoyance and it said "I can't see a clear path" or something of the sort (I'm using YOT). Went back to Largashbur and she was nowhere to be found so I used the player.moveto command and there she was: I could only talk to her for a split second before sliding down the steep mountain and realising she was inside the rock! -

I've always consider this to be a bad idea. And I got to experience bad outcomes from doing it when I had my CWO profile. Now, I've come across a weird bug after starting The Cursed Tribe. I am suppose to deliver Utab a daedra heart and some troll fat except, she's stuck inside a mountain. No, you read right, she's literally inside a rock mesh, high on a mountain. How she got there, no idea. I've saved my game before typing player.moveto 19e19 (Atub's RefID) and there I was, inside a mountain next to Atub. Question is: can I go to Largashbur where Atub is supposed to be and use player.placeatme 19e18 (ObjectID)? As I understand it, this command actually makes a copy of Atub, correct? And the real Atub is forever stuck inside the mountain. Is there another way around this nonsense? -

Thanks CJ, it was clear and easy enough I'll give DoR another go then, I really liked the whole concept from the screenshots. You don't think it was because of the Smelters conflict, maybe? Is the Dayspring Canyon map marker showing incorrectly on your version as well? And, abusing of your kindness could you maybe PM me with instructions for removing that edit from ELFX iexteriors? There are just a handful of worldspace edits conflicting between these mods but I don't want to mess it up. I would remove ELFX exteriors but with 200 hours of gameplay, surely it's not a good idea. Perhaps I can just sort UBG after ELFX exteriors..hmm.. -

I did. And then sorted the MIDGE Patch AFTER UBG-All. Two things here: a tiny fix has to be made for ELFX since the grass directly below the now absent lantern is still being magically illuminated. And second, the Dayspring Canyon map marker is strangely in the complete opposite direction from where it should be, past Dayspring Pass and before the Fort. Sadly, it was completely impossible for me to install DoR (and I assume DoW, too). When loaded and upon entering Riften I dropped to massively low FPS, I never made it past the entrance.. sigh.. gotta a get a decent rig, I'm missing out! Not just for these types of mods but I really want to play Dishonored and the system requirements are very high. EDIT: How can I change the names from the npcs in Daggercross Alley using TES5Edit? Why is their race part of their name?? -

Both. The MIDGE is just a patch for that mod. The All version includes the other 3 or 4 gates. -

Thanks! Now, could you advise me as to what to do about installing DoR? I have Smelters for Riften and Solitude from krypto, would it be best to uninstall that file and install the Solitude version only, or can I just sort DoR after Smelters to override it. -

Krypto is a girl, huh? Well, she's easily one of my favorite modders and surely one of the best out there. Most of her mods are essential IMO. I spent quite a while downloading and reading on the different mods and with just the mods I mentioned installed my game crashed when I first loaded. Crashed again on retry. So, had to disable some files to see where the problem was, disabled EWDR and ETaC's patch for it, Daggercross Alley, Helgen Reborn, DoW, Orc Strongholds, BetterDGEnrance, UKFaR and so far, so good. Looks like I'm going to have to take this even slower than I imagined... sigh.. Also, I was having a lot of problems with creating that REGS-SRLE Patch. First, on my RavenRockExpanded.esp, there is no reference to none of those references you put. When I looked at the Faction's section I saw no info from ETaC on either Seren or Rustlief and Lod already had the changes on the TEGS-STEP Extended patch. So that's where I stopped, what am I missing? -

Alright, it's time for me to jumping in here! I'm just amazed by just how many awesome mods out there I'm missing out on. First Rootsrat's Mod Library, now this? ..sigh.. Ok so I have a few questions. I am going to do this install, slowly- My game already has performance issues in various places so I want to see how it reacts to the new additions. I also have a few questions: First, I have not installed neither the optionals folder nor Nernies' esp but I do have to install the scripts, correct? I have installed Smelters for Solitude and Riften from the man himself, kryptopyr, but I'm going to the take a wild guess that this conflicts with Dawn of Riften. Should I just sort Dawn of Riften below to override or should I delete the former and install the Solitude version only? I've installed the following, so far: Foundation mods, Cities' mods (except for DoR), Settlements' mods with EtaC patches for NSUtR, ELFX and EWDR, High Hrothgar Overhaul, BetterDGEntrance (should put a note that a cleaned version is already included in the REGS' Patches), Daggercross Alley, Provincial Courier and Helgen Reborn (finally giving this a go!). I am also installing Unique Border Gates but I wanted to ask you: is there anything wrong with the patch the author provides for the Cyrodill Frontier? I am still deciding whether or not to install the FAtT series (seems like a lot!), can't I install the All version of UBG + BetterDGEntrance patch and if I install the Cyrodill Frontier, install its respective patch? And lastly, does Inconsequential NPCs or Interesting NPCs hammer down performance for anyone here? I'm a fan of having more NPCs, which is why I installed Populated Lands and Roads a while ago (anyone know why it was taken down?) and Immersive Patrols (why is this not included?!) but I'm wondering if this is going to affect performance severely. Would it be safe to uninstall PLaRP in favor of Inconsequential NPCs? And will the poor sods added by Raven Rock Expanded near Telvanni be massacred by Ash Spawns from Immersive Patrols? :) Anyway, thanks for this, I'm very excited to go back to my game after all of these new additions, I can feel it's going to blow me away! -
Farkas unequips his armor when trading items

Because I've recently installed FCO I wanted to try out different followers. Started with Kharjo but now I've decided to recruit Farkas for awhile. I have aMiddianborn Skyforge Weapons.esp and WAF's patch but other than that, nothing that changes Farkas, I think. So, went to his inventory and took his hunting bow and iron arrows and stuff and he just unequipped his wolf body armor (he kept his gauntlets and boots). Disabled, enabled him and he went back to his armor but as soon as I traded any item he unequipped his armor again. Tried dismissing him and re-recruiting him but problem persists. It only happens with him funny enough.. Aela, Vilkas, Ria all seem to be more civil than Farkas and keep their armor on. Any help is highly appreciated! Btw, is that stupid bug around were Aela, Vilkas, etc will attack the player when he turns into werewolf? -

Hey Vulgar, thanks for the reply. I know that the Unofficial plugins have been changed, that's why I said that they went back to being sorted after all the masters instead of each being sorted below it's respective master. Reinstalling BOSS didn't help. I know I can make user rules and put the patches where they're suppose to be, but that's hardly the point, why have they gone back to their old places? -

I'm getting this: Error: masterlist update failed. Details: cURL could not perform task! cURL response: "Protocol https not supported or disabled in libcurl". Check the Troubleshooting section of the ReadMe for more information and possible solutions. I've checked and there's no mention of this error on the Troubleshooting section.. And also this note: Note: The order of plugins set by BOSS differs from their order in its masterlist, as one or more of the installed plugins is false-flagged. For more information, see "file:../Docs/BOSS%20Readme.html#appendix-c False-Flagged Plugins". This I'm guessing is referring to the unofficial patches? Not sure why but those are back to not being each directly below their respective master like Dawnguard.esm and then Unofficial Dawnguard Patch. For me they're back to being Skyrim.esm, Dawnguard.esm, Heartfire.esm, etc.. I've read the successor to BOSS is LOOT, right? Has that already been released? -

Is there a mod that, in order to talk to Urag about the Elder Scroll (Main Quest) you don't have to join the College? It's an RPG, why does a non-magic user need to join the College to get on with the questline? It's just an epic fail from Bethesda to just force not only quests at you, that I can tolerate, since you can ignore them, but factions? My level 40 pure warrior has to join a Mage Guild? And I know I can just go to Septimus but how the hell would my character even know of his existence? -

I've taken some screens for you guys to compare. I wish they could show as thumbnails but anyways, just follow the links. First, the mod in question; second, the Frost Atronach HD and third, combined. Gotta be honest, this mod really makes the atronach feel very icy indeed and I quite like it except that when viewed with a torch near the atronach not only does your hand refracts but also you can see the torch's radius over it which is very distracting. Here's what I mean.. That's vanilla torch btw.

Keyboard and mouse suddenly stop working

I've recently come across a curious and indeed incredibly annoying problem. It has only happened three times but it's indeed too annoying to just let it go. When running or riding a horse the keyboard and mouse will suddenly cease to work for whatever reason and I don't have any control whatsoever, restarting the computer being the only way out as neither Esc, Alt+Tab or Ctrl+Alt+Supr will do anything at all. My character just keeps running or riding as if I had toggled "C" until it bumps into something in his path that won't let him go any further. Any ideas? -
Oh, what I meant with ISW not being as good as I remember it being is not related to the transparent webs problem. It's that when I took screenshots with a fresh non modded Skyrim, except for SRO, comparing vanilla, ISW and WEBS, there were some very unfavorable screens where ISW looked positively worse than vanilla. I've switched to WEBS Extended, thanks phazer! I believe Predator Vision is causing webs being either transparent or black in some places. I've ruled out ELFX since, when viewed with a torch, webs are visible.. Funny thing is that, the transparency thing is not reproducing everywhere where there are spider lairs. I was just in the Raven Rock mine and using Predator Vision, and webs were clearly visible. Anyway, thanks for all your trouble, Kuldebar. I appreciate it.

What I meant was, how do you guys compare the two. I've tried VL's Birthsigns and I must say that they are excellent, which is no surprise coming from him. But I still think jeclredured's work is of high quality as well. I think I'll keep VL's for now, though. -
Hey, sorry to be a pain. I realize that spiderwebs are indeed being shown. I started a new game to test out SRO, basically. So I didn't have any other textures, no CoT, no ELFX, not even SMIM. And then when I got to the spider lair in Helgen I made comparison screenshots with vanilla, ISW and WEBS Extended. I can only now conclude that webs not showing or appearing black is a) an ELFX bug or b) a Predator Vision (used in the 2nd and 4rth pictures) bug. Specially coming from isoku, who I think is excellent. The only thing I didn't like about WEBS were the sacks but the webs themselves are pretty cool, I think. Can anyone tell me how they do side comparisons with thumbnails showing in the post?

OK just tried it and amazingly, NO! I still can't see spiderwebs! What the heck! lol. Cobwebs did change but no spiderwebs.. I liked the cobwebs nonetheless.. Still, ISW was one of the first mods I installed and I've been using it for more than a year and I've always been quite happy with it so I can't get my head around why it has stopped working. Well, I think we can rule out that it's the mod's fault since WEBS didn't fix it either. One step closer to solving this, yay! ..sigh..
