  1. Skyrim Flora Overhaul overwrites a few of these textures. I find that a bit strange. EDIT: Not if you hide the files as instructed... sorry!
  2. Yes. However I think that some users, including myself, will ignore some recommendations if they do not understand them. Perhaps they research it here in the forum threads, which consumes time, or perhaps they do not. And as you said, not always will they find an answer in the thread either. EDIT: Or why to hide some files. One such example for me is Tobe's Hi-Res Textures. It's not motivated.
  3. Strangely, for me, when activating and placing the Bonemold hotfix above the content addon, it does not show the redundant flag, which it shound since all (two) files are overwritten by the content addon. Instead, it shows the Overwrites & Overwritten flag. I am pretty sure this was not the case before I updated MO the other day. Better Freckles shows the redundant flag since its overwritten by the WIP mod STEP Female Overhaul, so the redundant flag isn't completely broken, at least.
  4. Shadriss commented on this one page back: :)
  5. Got it. Ohhh. Now I get it. Excuse my mistake. I am not using BSW and therefore, looking at the conflicts between this mod and aMB BoS it seemed like an error in the guide. Thanks. In general I feel S.T.E.P. lacks explanations, especially on the recommendations. It rarely tells you why or why not to use the options specified, even when it often has an easy logical explanation. Perhaps this is intentional as to keep it simple and minimal, but I think an extra sentence here and there would improve the guide.
  6. I added Skyforge Steel to the recommendations on the wiki page, until the update that De-LARP update that EssArrBee mentioned comes out.
  7. Okay. It's easily one of my biggest annoyances using MO. I don't care much for the logs though. Is there any way to disable them in WB?
  8. Has anyone found a solution to the annoying bashed patch logs that go to the overwrite folder every time a bashed patch is created?
  9. Sooo how about adding this to STEP? Perhaps adding it to the STEP patches seeing as it is just a setting and perhaps not worth a plugin slot considering the 256 esp limit. If you do, note that a hotfix has been released.
  10. Yes. RWT's boat bobbing has some horrible clipping issues. You can see the difference in Shinji72's Skyrim Mods Watch. .
  11. Why is this mod not in STEP? At least I think it should be.
  12. What about Dual Wield Parrying Reimplementation?
  13. Did you read the mod description for Trade Routes? Should I feel bad for necroing this btw? I'm not overly familiar with forums.
  14. reddit: Mystery_Modder comments on Telvanni Reborn Also, notice that another user named MysteryModder (not Mystery_Modder) exists. Also note that while you replied to my post I edited my earlier post to provide further information. EDIT: So okay, darkside, you were faster.
  15. I apologize. My reason for posting it was to inform everyone of this site that may or may not be the mod's official. And possibly bring it back to STEP. A user on Reddit claiming to be Mystery Modder wrote this along with a link to the mentioned website. EDIT: I downloaded the mod from the site and the files seem legit. Which doesn't exclude the possibility of the website being non-legit. The website does however provide a download with files that look like 1:1 copies of files from Bethesda's High-res DLC, which, I guess would be some kind of copyright infringement. But I could be wrong. I didn't compare file sizes even. Perhaps Mystery Modder did something similar to Bethesda Hi-Res DLC Optimized.
  16. I suppose the problem I have is how it is implemented. I don't really have a better solution but having having to go to your MCMs (that mainly provide *settings*) to see your Faction Ranks is un-immersive and a bit out of place IMO. Also it would clutter people's MCMs. Also I'm thinking of the stated reason as of why Blessings was removed, which was also in the Interface category.
  17. You should have the STEP mod loaded before (higher up in MO order than) BPT if you want to use BPT. STEP Optimized Vanilla Textures is like an automated semi-generic clean-up of the vanilla textures while the author of BPT has gone through texture-by-texture and resized, applied some Photoshop magic and optimized each of them approprietly, by hand, with the focus to save VRAM. So if you want those changes you need to load BPT *after* the STEP optimized textures. STEP Optimized Vanilla Textures and Tony's Optimized Vanilla Textures should be pretty much identical except that Tony's include some files that are unnessesary (and will take up some storage space) if you use ALL STEP mods.
  18. I think this is a strange addition to STEP... A mod that just adds information in the form of a Mod Configuration Menu? I don't really have a valid point, it doesn't seem like a STEP mod to me.
  19. Link removed by moderator.
  20. Hey. What do you guys have to say about the 1.7 beta?
  21. "This mod is no longer supported. See here for the updated compilation."
  22. STEP does use those. The STEP wiki recommends installing all weapons in the "Weapons" FOMOD installer for this mod, which includes aMidianBorn Skyforge Weapons. Wheather or not this is intentional, I do think that the wiki should say something like this "Do NOT install the Skyforge hotfix" or "Install the Skyforge hotfix". Oh and something about that Bonemold hotfix too.
  23. Alright. Two other thoughts about this mod. It seems strange to me that the Skyforge weapons have warewolves carved (or whatever) in them, because, I mean, *whispers* isn't the warewolf thing a secret? This really bogs me. I feel like some clarification on the wiki on weather or not the "Bonemold Hotfix" and the "Skyforge Hotfix" should be used or not is in place. The nexus download page clearly states that they must be installed.
