  1. Come to think of it... I am not actually using that plugin anymore. I did not realize LePresidente's upload was a fork, but I am using that fork. I previously used the Tannin's beta 3 v2.0.7 along with the SkyrimSE plugin that I linked before, but uninstalled it since I had problems (the same problem as now + nxm links not working with Special Edition). Sorry for the confusion. I use LOOT (current version) v0.10.3 and the xEdits are v3.2 (current version). I have tried LOOT v0.10.2, v0.10.1, v0.10.0, v0.9.2.0, v0.8.1, v0.7.1, v0.6.1. I have tried installing LOOT and Mod Organizer to the default folders, and also to (subfolders in) the Skyrim folder. I now tried using v1.3.11 (latest Tannin version) to manage original Skyrim, which posed the same issue (I only tried LOOT though, not TES5Edit). The same issue is prevalent with v2.0.7 (current LePresidente version) with original Skyrim too (not just Special Edition). For each install I deleted the ModOrganizer main directory and ModOrganizer local appdata directory, and I added the command line argument in MO for LOOT that you suggested. The combination of Mod Organizer v1.2.14 (older version) and LOOT v0.6.1 (latest version before the material design) does work! However nxm links does not work (though not the same issue as with Tannin's MO beta 3 + TESVSE plugin). And of course, this is not a solution for Special Edition. The combination Mod Organizer v1.2.14 and LOOT (current version) v0.10.3 does not work. I have launched both Skyrim and Skyrim Special Edition from Steam, opened the options in the launcher, loading the game up and loading a save file. I also ran LOOT and xEdit outside Mod Organizer. Installing a plugin manually into the data folder and running LOOT and TES5Edit without Mod Organizer does work. I have also tried re-installing LOOT and the xEdits. I have tried restarting the computer. Steam is running when Mod Organizer is started. I have tried closing all background applications etc. This is a fairly fresh Windows installation.
  2. You wrote differently on Skyrim Special Edition and on Skyrim, on the Skyrim line you did not write out any backslashes. Was that a mistake? Either way, I tried both. It does not fix the problem, sadly. Oh, and my system information. I use Windows 10 64-bit. EDIT: I deleted the nxmhandler.ini and restarted MO. It asked me if I wanted to associate nxm links with Mod Organizer and I chose yes and the ini was re-created. It looks the same as before, except 1\games is set to skyrim (I assume because I ran Mod Organizer with the Skyrim instance instead of SkyrimSE instance).
  3. I have the same problem. No plugins beside official ESMs show up in LOOT and TES5Edit and SSEEdit. Mods do work in-game though. And with Creation Kit and Creation Kit 64-bit. I have one instance for Skyrim Special Edition (using this plugin: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1725/) and one for original Skyrim and I have the same issue on both. I have tried everything I can think of, followed all advises, including reinstalling Skyrim and MO (deleting the modorganizer local app data folder). Skyrim and Skyrim Special Edition is installed to D:\Games\SteamLibrary\common and ModOrganizer to D:\Games\Tools\ModOrganizer and LOOT to D:\Games\Tools\LOOT and SSEEdit and TES5Edit in the same tools directory. I have an empety usfs log and a mo_interface log in %localappdata%/SkyrimSE/logs and also in %localappdata%\Skyrim\logs %localappdata%\ModOrganizer\SkyrimSE\mo_interface.log %localappdata%\ModOrganizer\SkyrimSE\ModOrganizer.ini %localappdata%\ModOrganizer\Skyrim\ModOrganizer.ini %localappdata%\ModOrganizer\nxmhandler.ini
  4. Discussion thread: Realistic Animation Project - Movement by FeuerTin Wiki Link Realistic Animation Project is a mod project that aims to replace vanilla animations with new hand-crafted ones that look more realistic and alive. This mod adds new realistic movement animations. The installer allows for installing any of following components: female animations, male animations, sprinting animations, sneaking animations. With the new sneaking animations the character rests one knee in the ground when standing still in sneak mode. For female animations you can choose either neutral style or feminine style. It also features an option called 360° that makes turning around while walking look much more real. Videos made by mod author showcasing the mod.
  5. Discussion thread: Realistic Animation Project - Idles by FeuerTin Wiki Link Realistic Animation Project is a mod project that aims to replace vanilla animations with new hand-crafted ones that look more realistic and alive. This mod adds new idle animations with 16 different ones to choose from, so you can choose one that fits your character. The new animations are much longer and unique than vanilla.
  6. I think the small bottles version have different meshes (not just re-sized) and lables.
  7. Discussion thread: Physics for Spells by nelsonassassin Physics for Spells is a mod for Skyrim Special Edition (How do I prefix that?) that adds physics to all missile type spells. The mod author Nelsonassasin writes - "I was tired of watching my Incinerate spell and my Fireball spell float through the sky like it had some sort of ungodly velocity while travelling at 4 mph." A video by the mod author showcasing the mod. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nw62OMJ1fno It does not add physics to spells added by other mods. I think that it is a great idea. Makes more sense, is more realistic, and adds a new layer of fun gameplay, in a lore-friendly unobtrusive way.
  8. Discussion thread: Pretty Animated Potions and Poisons - 1K Retexture by dailyplanet Pretty Animated Potions and Poisons is a mod that adds new animated meshes and 1K textures for all potions and poisons in vanilla Skyrim. In addition to the new look it includes the following changes: Potion weight rebalanceAddition of Potion of the Phantom, Ice Wraith Bane and Nightshade Extract to leveled list, so you will have a chance to buy them from alchemist merchantsAdditional effects of Nightshade Extract It also has a thicker glass variant, which makes the glass less transparent and more thick-looking. And if you feel that the potions and/or poisons does not glow enough or glows too much, there are several options for that. There is also a small bottles version. Videos showcasing the mod made by the mod author. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXyTPjcEY04 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvQjpZ8DkUI The bottles look really good as long as they are in an upright position, otherwise it might be a sad reminder that the liquid does not have any physics. The style is faithful to vanilla Skyrim, but might not be considered lore-friendly in a purist sense. Should I create a new topic for the small bottles version?
  9. Only I who thinks that this looks horribly a lot like an amateur photo editor just added some text onto a stone and applied simple layers styles? It does not look real at all. Especially the snow version. How would a stone inscription be visible though a layer of snow? And the non-snow-version, I do not think that such an inscription would really be legible on such a rugged surface. I have only looked at the screenshots on the Nexus page though. Nevertheless, I really like the idea.
  10. How about a bump.
  11. Oops. That is true. 1.1 said "Imperial Light" and 1.0 said "ImperialLight and ImperialStudded", so I thought that 1.1 did not contain ImperialStudded. And I missed the difference in version numbers.
  12. It is not fully clear from the guide, at the time of writing, of which file one is supposed to download and install. I do guess however, that it is the optional file called aMidianBorn ImperialLight and LightStudded. The texture files in it has the resolution 2048x2048.
  13. What about the aMidianBorn Blades Armor USLEEP Compatibility Patch?
  14. Well, actually. I think this thread on the AFK mods forum pretty much answers my question. Save game corruption seems unlikely.
  15. Someone on Nexus said that itis dangerous to install any legacySkyrim (non-SSE) mods onto SkyrimSpecial Edition without at least confirming that meshes and textures conform with the new engine and opening and saving any plugin with the SkyrimSpecial Edition Creation Kit first. The person held that, even if do not run into any problems when not taking the mentioned precautions, it might cause issues later on, like save file corruption. Do these statements hold true? What do you recommend? Please discuss. Or has this already been discussed somewhere?
  16. An earlier version contained a txt file stating what mods were used in the pack but not 1.2. Which texture mods are (either wholly or partly) included in the STEP Texture Complitation? EDIT: And also, how is it nessesary for DynDOLOD? EDIT 2: And why do you delete old files from Nexus?
  17. Am I supposed to activate the DynDOLOD mod after I've added it? And the plugin remaining IN-active until the very end of the process? The instructions doesn't mention it. EDIT: Looking at the Nexus page, I assume that the mod should be activated immediately as well as the plugin, with the plugin remaining at the bottom of the (right-hand pane) load order.
  18. This mod feels un-lore-friendly to me. :( White Werewolves? And the new chaurus doesn't match the falmer architecture, armor and weapons. EDIT: Oh wait. Perhaps the particualar file that STEP suggests to download does not include those. Feel free to delete my post.
  19. A page in the FOMOD installer is missing in the recommendations.
  20. I use Enhanced Lights and FX instead of ELE. So I can't use the Core or Extended patch? :( EDIT: Also, the STEP Patches Requirements confuses me. It seems to suggest to enable ESPs like, for example, the SMIM ESPs. However the rest of the guide suggests otherwise.
  21. --- Remove this post. I posted at the wrong topic. ---
  22. Just comparing the texture files, this mod's stalhrim looks nicer than Suped-up Stalhrim. But I haven't compared in-game, and Suped-up Stalhrim comes with new meshes. Also, I really don't like the heartstone rock texture from this mod. And it doesn't match the style of other ore rocks in the game.
  23. Gah. Thanks. I confused it with Detailing the Eldrich - Higher-Res Apocrypha - Temple of Miraak - Black Books, which is not part of STEP. Please disregard my post.
  24. There is no guide for the FOMOD installer.
  25. The Ruffled Feather Change log says: But the STEP 2.2.9.1 changelog says:
