  1. As a test download the current stable, v1.2.18, manual installation archive of MO and extract it to a location other that the program files folder. Do not apply any type of admin settings to MO. Run MO and go through the first time things. Go into the settings and point the downloads to where your current downloads are and install a few minor mods. Set up TesVedit and see if it runs for you.
  2. It looks like the 4gb executable now works properly in MO 1.3.4 now and the -laaexe .\FalloutnvMO.exe argument is no longer needed. The execuatble now shows up in the exes folder and all of the messages no longer there.
  3. How many ESPs and ESMs are in the right pane and enabled?
  4. This would go against STEP policy of mod redistribution.
  5. No problems here with Windows 8.1. Steam installed on my "E" drive and both Fallouts and Skyrim installed on an SSD, my "D" drive. My "C" drive is reserved for Windows and other installed programs.
  6. That sounds like ModOrganizer.ini may have been corrupted and MO either created a new one or appended new information in the old one on the next start. Did you have to add any tools like TESEdit or Wrye back to the executables? Did it run the first time setup tutorial. Did the profiles Skyrim Revisited or Vanilla Skyrim show up after the restart? MO has a backup button at the top of each pane to back up modlist and plugin list. Did you use that at anytime? A restore from that may help. Also you did not mention the version of MO being used. The beta, 1.3.4, has a bug in it that the lowest alpha / numeric named profile will be loaded when using the profile manager, in this case default, or selecting profiles that effects the pluging list.
  7. The fix mods will only work if the mod is still installed. MO will enable the mod in the current profile if it is disabled and enable any disabled ESPs if they get disabled.
  8. Tannin has confirmed this bug. For now I keep my working profile top most in the list.
  9. It appears that when I run the manager it reads the lower placed profile and it gets applied to the current one. I deleted the Default profile and this made the current one the lowest. I haven't see the switch in this one. I will have to create some higher Alpha / numbered profiles and see if they default to the lower one. As for the other problems you mention I can say I have not seen that, although there may have been other reports of similar things happening. I just found out that if I check the "Automatic Archive Invalidation" and save, I can't uncheck it afterwards.
  10. I have seen this in v1.3.4. I have reported the unchecking problem in the issue tracker. Can I ask if you still have the default profile in the list of profiles?
  11. That is in the settings area. press the wrench and screwdriver icon. A new window opens and should be on the General tab. In the center of that window you will see a check box called "Advanced". When you put a check in there it enabled the options to modify the paths for the Download, Mos and Cache directories. All you have to do is use the button next to the field you want to change and navigate to where the new one is. I would make a new folder on another drive and move the files there first before doing this as MO does not move then for you.
  12. I would like to know how to program even simple stuff, but my brain cells have been dying for 59 years. If learn anything new on the job I can't find my way home at the end of the day as it overwrites it.
  13. It only Supports Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout NV and Skyrim. You would need another manager that supports that game.
  14. Neo, in your guide under the tools section you have ENB Manager and Changer as a tool. There is a another program written in c# that will write back any changes made in the game. It is ENB Man - An ENB Manager. Just thought you would like to know.
  15. The uninstall of NMM is most likely the problem here. Just reinstall it and run it once. The NXM links are probably what is buggering up the works, at least that is what happened to me when I uninstalled NMM.
  16. If this was directed at me, I haven't stopped using MO. I just do not play Oblivion. I purchased it to test with MO. I still use MO for Skyrim and both Fallout games.
  17. I did see this when I installed Perma and that fix solver the problem.
  18. Who said i was playing Skyrim, I just mod it till it implodes. I bounce between Watch dogs, Half life 2 update and Cities Skyline.
  19. Also you can try adding 22300 to the overwrite steam Appid in the fose modify executables dialog.
  20. There is a fose log in the fo3 directory that may be useful. Run the fose loader and let it crash. Open the fose.log and post the contents here.
  21. Go into the MO settings general tab and make sure that the Mod Directory points to where your mods are installed. Put a check in the advanced box to activate that section to change the paths to the location.
  22. It sounds like you did not set up EnBoost properly. STEP only uses EnBoost and not the full ENB. There will be conflicts with Anisotropic filtering I believe.
  23. Mikegray, so what you are saying if you pay for the mod you get access to the comments. At the moment I get a whops message when I try to view comments or am I doing something wrong? Edit: Must have been an OS / browser interaction. Rebooted and I can read the comments now.
  24. Mikegray, thanks for that. We have been focusing on the effects of this change, but have not stopped to ask what happens when we decide to purchase something. From all of this I take away that I have access to a paid mod more or less for ever, as I have paid for that right. I bought version 1.1 of a mod and I am entitled to updates to said mod as they are made available. What happens if a mod author decides to release version 2 of the mod? Do I have to repurchase it again? I guess time will only tell.
  25. What is the file path to the MO executable? How did you install MO, from the installer or the archive?
