  1. Oh nevermind, I now see... wow I wish I had this tool back in the day!
  2. How does one go about makig the patch? Skyrproc I assume? Edit: been poking around and I'm guessing you are referring to the MO merger yes?
  3. But isn't it a bit confusing then, if not misleading, to just pick out mods at random to make that note? I mean if there was a note at the beginning reminding people (in like that red bar you guys use) to always check their mods then I would have never mentioned it. But by just choosing some, there's gonna be people that would only check for just those mods and use the normal installation for the rest. For experienced modders like ourselves then sure we are going to always check for manual installation. But a guide like this is going to bring in a lot of people that don't have that level of experience are might not double check those things. It's not that they wouldn't know to do it, it's just that they may rely on the guide to the letter you know?
  4. So I'm not sure if these are actual issues, but when installing the mods I always manually install and I found several that weren't packaged correctly and were not noted in the guide. Following is a list of them, as well as the steps based off of the format you guys use. Here's the list:
  5. This is such click bait btw :P
  6. Oh yeah I knew that. I install them but just keep them inactive. Because yeah, that would case a lot of issues... I should of made that clearer. And notes.... lots of notes...
  7. I think the detailed instructions might be out of date. I didn't see anywhere near the number of options that they had on there. In fact, it was limited to just three. Is this already known, and I just went through it wrong or what? Ah! Yes, oops should of checked that. I just searched the forum and didn't even think to check it. My bad! Just double checked; there's nothing about blood size, or wound size that I can tell. I'm probably missing something though.
  8. Gotcha. Yeah I was reading through threads and know at one point there was some discussion so just want to make sure. But yeah, thanks for promptly getting back to me.
  9. I think the detailed instructions might be out of date. I didn't see anywhere near the number of options that they had on there. In fact, it was limited to just three. Is this already known, and I just went through it wrong or what?
  10. That's actually not quite what I was asking. I'm going through the guide and benchmarking the modded game by each step, just the Core files, and that's why I'm inquiring specifically if Content Addon was part of it. Because if it's Extended, then I won't worry about it until I go back and start looking through them.
  11. I'm a bit confused as to how the AMB Content Add-on is supposed to be handled. First, I don't see it mentioned in the step guide, however, I do see it listed on detailed instructions. From the searching around all I can gather is that it can be used, but then shouldn't be used with the Staff of Magnus hotfix? I would really like to use this mod, mainly because I really liked the idea of Skyforge Steel but from what I'm reading it is an issue? Like I notice that you turn off the ESP. Does that stop it from working? Edit: Probably should have putting this in the Mods section of STEP, can someone do that for me if they agree?
  12. Nevermind, figured it out after saw that Hearthfire had them as well and did some googling. Guess it's unimportant.
  13. Question says it all. I went through it twice, but noticed it still had that warning. Since it wasn't mentioned, I assumed it was fine but wanted to double check.
  14. Looking at the current issues isn't the same as hearing from someone using it, as I don't know how often I'll see them, like you said some you can and some you can't reproduce. As far as why I wasn't participating, the main reason is that when I was going to give it a true was right around that patch that changed the format of mods in the .ini (1.4 I think?) NMM was quicker to get theres updated, and I didn't want to have to go into the ini and manually edit stuff. I'm not blaming TanninOne at all mind you, it was just a matter of deciding to wait. That and, hearing from you about how you would use it in it's current state even if it stopped makes me more eager to jump in. I love MO, and it made me so sad when I couldn't immediately use it in FO4, because it had so many great things. Like remember when MO came out with profiles and it took some time for NMM to implement it? In any event, I might do it, but I'm on a kick right to revisit Skyrim but otherwise I would. But yeah, once the patches slow down, I'll get back in and start off with MO next time. In any case, what do you mean by "local saves, profiles use the files in my games"?
  15. It wasn't just posting a lot, like just skimming through this it seemed like you guys might have been winding down and now focused on finalizing instead of adding more and what not. Anyways, I misinterpreted and that's cool. Like I said before, I wasn't asking to pester but just didn't to finish setting up STEP on Friday for it to drop on Saturday, heh.
  16. I hate to ask this sort of question because I'm sure you guys get pestered with it, but I am curious if the 2.10 release is imminent? The reason for asking is I've just now started setting stuff up and getting things installed. But if it's about come out, might as well not bother benchmarking for an old setup right?
  17. I'm curious, how stable is it right now? I know when I looked into it, it was in Alpha and was problematic (which is to be expected of course).
  18. So, ran Loot today and discovered that NVBII had two delete navmeshes that need to be resolved. The problem is, that when I use FNVedit to attempt to do so, it says it's unable to. More to the point, when I checked the forum thread for the mod, there seemed some discussion of whether this is a big deal or not. So just thought I'd check with you guys.
  19. That's what I thought, and was why I was surprised to see it. Has anyone else checked this before merging and noticed it? Or it is something unique to my setup?
  20. There's also several mods I've noticed that weren't packaged correctly.
  21. I'll be honest, the moment I pulled up NVR3 and it said "recommended for advanced users" and saw the large amount of steps to get the two working, I had already decided it wasn't worth the effort. However, I was still interested in FCO so it's good to hear that the bulk of the issues are coming with conflicts with a mod I wasn't going to use anyways.
  22. So, FCO launched version 3.0 a couple of days ago, and I've noticed in the feedback are having some issues with it. To be safe, would it be best to stick with 2.3.1 until the bugs are being ironed out? Starting with a new play through if that matters.
  23. While we're on the subject of ILO plugins, are we not suppose to get the YUP patch? And if we are, cannot it be merged in as well? More to the point, how do you fix the load order? It says to move them over, but I assume we need to be in the "Load After" section yes? Or am I missing something?
