Some of my weapons are not using the iron sights when using the right mouse button. It will just zoom in a bit but you retain the low accuracy of not using iron sights. When i shoot while zoomed in it does show the iron sights, but then its too late.

 

So far it happens on the Assault Rifle, Chinese Assault Rifle and Sawed Off Shotgun. I followed the guide and let LOOT sort the plugins. I added bash tags and made a bashed patch.

Here's my load order, can this problem be fixed? I mean, the animation is there.. The assault rifles are very strong (120+ damage) but now only useful in VATS mode.

Did you use LOOT to sort the plugins. Did you use the "userlist.yaml" referenced in the "Run LOOT" section of the guide. The main problem I see is that 2 Blackened plugins should be closer to the end of the load order than the WeaponModKits plugins.

 

You can investigate the problem yourself by using FO3Edit. After it has started look at these weapons and see which mods make the last changes to these weapons and whether they have the Don't show 1st person animation flag; if this flag is present Ironsights won't work.

Hi,

I've got the same problem and the bashed patch seems to be the cause of it. Some "Don't show 1st person animation" flags get forwarded to it. But that's not the only problem. For example, the chinese assault rifle doesn't get its new model of the ak47. 

This is the Load order sorted by Loot. Im using the userlist.yaml.

I tried moving the blacked patches closer to the bottom, but that didn't matter when I created the bashed patch, wrye flash just changed the load order again. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, I don't know...but maybe you can take a look at it.

WRYE should not change the load order when run. Make sure the "Lock Times" is unchecked. Right click any column header to get the menu for the setting.

Ok, he doesn't change the load order anymore...unfortunately the flag is still set and it still uses the wrong model. Is manual conflict resolution needed here?

Thank you for you answer, i did use the userlist.yaml file and i have taken a look in the FO3Edit program. Inside Fallout.esm i located the chinese assault rifle and this is what it shows for the 1st person entry:

Seems like IMPACT is the problem here since it is the last before the Bashed patch and has the wrong entry?

-edit- i guess IMPACT is not part of the bashed patch, Wrye must have included another patch with those settings then, i'll try placing the Blackened patches closer to the bottom.

Unfortunately Impact is a cool mod but has compatibility problems. A manual patch is needed since the ones on the Impact page fix some problems but break some things. You can try moving Impact lower in the load order, leaving it out, or building a manual patch for the weapons of interest to you

Unifortunately, disabling IMPACT does not help. The Bashed patch is the problem.

 

So only when i place the Blackened patches at the very bottom , after the Bashed patch, it works (only the one that includes RH is enough). If i place them just before the Bashed patch it doesn't work.
Is it going to be a problem to have the Blackened patches after the Bashed patch?

 

I also tested the theory that i have added Fallout3.esm to the Bashed patch, but that doesnt seem to be the case (dont know if it matters).

Try leaving the Blackened after the bashed patch. No matter what you do, without a large manual patch, nothing will be perfect. You will lose part, but not all, of the Impact mod effects.
