TheCompiler Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 Just an fyi that 1.6 is out.Aknowledged- we are now starting to update the actual STEP snapshot to the new combiner, which is a quick task fortunately. Well done Cestral! ;)
Neovalen Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 Glad to see you back in the game Cestral ;) Combining then optimizing now!
Sigmataun Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 I have to come out of creepy lurker mode to say that this mod is far and beyond the most essential mod I have yet to come acrossed. EDIT: Wow...first post in three months.
mattfromoz Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 Been a lurker myself but have to say after completing setting up with the texture pack combiner to try and get a head start with the new step. Even with no other mods it is looking great.
Cestral Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Just an fyi message: SMIM v1.26 is out, but apparently it suffers from a bug. I will await the fix before implementing TPC support for it. SRO also had a v1.4 patch released today. It looks rather huge, but I will take a look at it later today.
Besidilo Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Lush Trees 1.4 is also out, but no changes to the files structure from 1.3. EDIT: maybe I was wrong:Vurt's Flora Overhaul: Vurt's patch is no longer supported from version 1.4. Vurt's only contains THREE trees at default parameters. This will not impact much on the mod or the visual quality. I'm also no longer supporting this because I don't regulate around here as often and can't keep updating it. You can choose to use these trees or use Vurt's for more texture variation. Using Vurt's on top of Lush Trees will mean slightly better performance if needed. If you want to use Lush Trees over Vurt's and aren't bothered about the lack of a little variation, then you can do that as well. It's up to you!
Neovalen Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 I haven't tried it yet myself (waiting for the new TPC to integrate all these) but SMIMs problem seems to be only related to the "update" version. People have reported success with the "full" download of 1.26
Cestral Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Gonna start working on these updates this right now. These updates always seem to come on bad days for me and somehow they always come at once from all directions! :p

Cestral Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Gotta tell you I love these new rock meshes from SMIM. Still plenty he hasn't covered, but those he has are considerably improved.
mattfromoz Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Is texture pack combineer only going to have optional files that conflict with other retextures? If somethin is a retexture that does not conflict will it be kept seperate?
Cestral Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 No, not only, but conflicting mods have a higher priority.
frihyland Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 Nice work on the new release, I found another tapesty mod you might want to check out.
