rootsrat Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/32635/? OMG, YES! Finally! Alduin's Wall was one of the most horrible things in Skyrim! It's of a great importance, it has great significance to the main story and yet it looks absolutely horrendous! Thank you, hellstorm, my hero!
Octopuss Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 I am looking at the screenshots, and the vanilla texture seems to fit in much better. It's not even blurry or anything. Am I weird?
rootsrat Posted June 12, 2014 Author Posted June 12, 2014 No, it's not blurry. But it's still horrible, IMHO
DoYouEvenModBro Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 What is the kohdi version? I can't tell the difference.
Gratis_monsta Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 (edited) Any chance of this being reconsidered into STEP? OriginalMod versionKohdi version (STEP-worthy: basically made from the HD concept art - look at the center graybeard for noticeable differences) EDIT: Fixed links Edited December 2, 2014 by Gratis_monsta
TechAngel85 Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Idk, as another user already stated, it's really stands out. Retextures shouldn't grab your intention in that way by saying, "hey look at me!...I'm retextured!". You really shouldn't noticed them and have them just flow into the game as if you could forget they were even there. This one isn't the later and; thus, really screams out at you from the shots on Nexus. The Kohdi version fits a bit more into the surrounding textures.
Gratis_monsta Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 (edited) I realized I linked the images wrong. Sorry will fix. Yes the Kohdi version seems to the STEP-worthy. Edited December 2, 2014 by Gratis_monsta
phazer11 Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Alduin's wall is IMO one of the few things that doesn't need a retexture. In fact the Kohdi version while better than the other non-vanilla texture is not as detailed (I assume due to it being from the concept art) and lacks several of the smaller figures.
