rpsgc Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 Immersive Beds by vivantohttps://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/35611/ Has anyone tried this mod? Basically it shows an animation when you get in/out of bed. No more teleporting and stuff. You can choose from a few sleeping configurations:No changeComfortable (un-equips helmets, boots, gloves and weapons)Clothing (Replaces your armour with a piece of clothing from your inventory)Nude ( )And it has a 'snooze' setting (short delay before getting out of bed, so realistic!) If you want to see it in action, here is a short video review Format: Loose filesContent: 9 scripts (all new) + source and one .esp Mod TestingPlay with the mod installed for a period of time and see if any unexpected issues come up because of this mod. Alternate Start also has a bed included. Check for issues starting a new game as well.Test compatibility with single follower and multiple followers
torminater Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 I keep getting a bug where I don't get up out of bed automatically. If I press I leap out of bed and everything is fine though...
rpsgc Posted May 15, 2013 Author Posted May 15, 2013 Could that be from the 'snooze' feature? How long did you wait? I don't know if this is relevant:Snooze Duration:The time spent in bed before getting up. If set to 0, you will stay in bed until you activate it manually.
torminater Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 I've set snooze to 3 seconds...? But I'll check, maybe it didn't get forwarded as I updated the mod.
Aleanne Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Test it with a vanilla follower in tow. Check if the follower is still here after sleep.
Eliian Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Recently installed. Will try it out soon and share my experience.
torminater Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 So i think there are Some issues with UFO... All of my followers vanish and only reappear if i go to bed again and sometimes a New follower i try to pick up doesn't follow me at all... However i think i fixed the glitch i reported earlier by reapplying my settings in the mcm.
Eliian Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 I do not really use followers so it is good to know that there are some issues. One that may be fixed too =) Otherwise, I really like the mod. It does not do tons of stuff, but I really enjoy actually being able to see my character go to sleep. Everything works fine. All the different configurations work well. I personally set the 'snooze' option pretty high. So it takes a while to get out of bed. Which would be fairly realistic for me :P
EssArrBee Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 "So hey, Dovah, are you ever going to fight Alduin or is he going to eat the world?" "What are you, my mother? I'll do it later, I just need 10 more minutes." Now we just need a mod that makes people use the sheets and blankets. Everyone sleeping above the covers kind of bothers me.
torminater Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Then sleeping nude doesn't seem awkward anymore ;-)
statmonster Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 What happens if the Dragonborn snores? Does he shout down the roof?
rootsrat Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Now we just need a mod that makes people use the sheets and blankets. Everyone sleeping above the covers kind of bothers me. Yeah, that would be awesome. I find it immersion breaking... @Admin - can we mark this one for [TESTING]? It would be a decent addition to STEP.
torminater Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 done. you can do this, too, roots ;-) just telling
rootsrat Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Wasn't sure if moderators can appoint a mod for testing without admin approval :)
torminater Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Wasn't sure if moderators can appoint a mod for testing without admin approval :)If so, they shouldn't give us the power to do so
