Installing ASIS and SkyRe with some additional stuff

Just to let you know that since Legendary Edition is not released yet that this has not been updated to work with it. If you are having problems and using SR Legendary edition you are doing it at you own risk.

I understand that. I've kind of followed the mod order for LE, but used to normal Revisited patches, etc and it works great without adding any mods. I'm just having a hard time working out what compatibility patches, load orders etc for ASIS and SkyRe from the guide.

first thx for this detailed SkyRe + ASIS howto. Missed such a thing at nexus.

 

Now, I think the 'Mighty Magick - SkyRe compatibility patch.esp' is not complete. After I installed MM into my SkyRe/Asis, I missed the 2nd effects (description) from the mage armors 'stoneflesh/ironflesh/...).

Also the base costs are - well high would be an understatement - astronomic. Now I need 1300 magicka, 2700 for dual-casting - that's nearly impossible to reach (char. level 31, Magicka 430, alteration 60, so I assume reaching lvl.65 would show these effects.).

 

After a deeper look into your merged MM AIO and Patches (the above mentioned), I found out that you didn't copied the 'Magic Effect' from SkyRe_Main back into the 'Mighty Magick - SkyRe compatibility patch.esp'. Also, in these FormID's there's the description and base costs for the spell.

After I did this, they are now usable and also include the MM parameters.

(B.t.w. FormIDs are: 00051B15 (Oak/Stone), 00059b7a (Stone), 00059b7b (Iron), 00059b7c (Ebony) )

yes I compatibility patch isn't perfect, thanks for pointing out on mage armors issues. I will try upload fixed version soon I hope.

 

P.S. Guide had to be updated long time ago, but I have been ..mmm... too busy for that. Well, since I'm still alive, I will try to find some time to do it.

What exactly does the pre reproccer patches from SkyRe reproccer compatibility patches do? Is it needed? I think I installed the correct one(Pre Reproccer WA Fixes IW aMidianSS IA Patch.esp) but it seems to conflict with Improved closefaced helmets, as they don't work if I use it. I'm quite sure I've installed the correct one...For now I've disabled it.

I was considering merging the changes in Tes5edit but would like your opinion first, as I'm not skilled with the program, and not sure if I should edit "reproccer.esp"(the renamed "sum.esp") or "Pre Reproccer WA Fixes IW aMidianSS IA Patch.esp"

 

On an unrelated note how do people get the correct colors(Active is green etc) when posting their boss log? Makes it easier on the eyes....

Sorry for double post, can't edit the other one anymore. I went ahead and tried to fix the problem myself.

 

-Loaded imp_helm.esp, imp_helm_imp.esp,  imp_helm_Dawn.esp, Pre Reproccer WA Fixes IW aMidianSS IA Patch.esp in Tes5edit

-Found the conflicting nodes in imp_helm.esp under ARMOR.

-Dragged the BOD2-Biped Body Template and Armature from imp_helm.esp to Pre Reproccer WA Fixes IW aMidianSS IA Patch.esp

-Ran SUM.

Now I'm not sure if this was correct but it seems to have worked. Thing is I have no idea if it changed other things which it wasn't supposed to change, so any feedback would be welcome.

I've got another question! This is my load-order at the moment.

If I don't want to rename SUM.esp to reproccer.esp every time(by changing masters) should I change something with BUM loadorders? Reason is that reproccer.esp is placed at 234 in my current load order by BOSS and SUM.esp always is put in the bottom. So......which one is correct?

I would follow the load order of BOSS. Maybe try running SUM again with the "Merge Patches" option box unchecked. That will make it output each one individually. You will have the reproccer.esp again :) I don't think there is any problem in doing so. I have not had any.

Well no, not a problem with the patches...but I'm at the end of my esp capability! :( Don't know if you saw the picture but I'm near 250 esp's. Would rather save as much space as possible..so would still like to know if anyone know where to put it!

255 is the absolute limit.

 

I can say you should place it so all of qotsafan's patches (besides pre reproccer one of course) should be placed after the sum.esp. As well as the PostASISPatch.esp and the ReProccerDragonborn.esp

 

Look at the load order example on this page :) It will likely help. LINK

Ah yes. Thank you! Actually BOSS put SUM.esp in the same spot as Reproccer.esp, I think it should be fine where it is, although the suggested load-order on your linked page is to put SUM.esp after SkyRe_EnemyAI.esp(BOSS puts it before). Porbably shouldn't make a difference..right?

At some point you might need to look at combing some of the esp plugins so you don't exceed the 255 limit. It requires some familiarity with TES5Edit, but there are often a few plugins that can be combined where it isn't extremely difficult.

Yeah. I'm not sure why it suggests putting it after. I have it before and it is just fine. I don't use ASIS though so i'm not sure.

Believe me I'm working on it! Tried using a Merger Plugin which got me below 255 esp's, the problem is all the dependencies from the compatibility patches which require most of the mods I would otherwise merge for Masters, creating a bunch of errors. It's really getting hairy!

On top of it all after adding Asis and Skyrim Redone according to this guide I'm getting a lot of endless loading screens. Is there any way to find out what mod is causing this? Would it show up in the papyrus log?
