Could you create the mod topic? Then it will get more eyes.

Sure. But I can't seem to be able to. When I go to create a new topic with the HTML boilerplate, I don't have the "Source" button in the editor, for pasting the boilerplate. It's supposed to be on left of the toolbar if I'm remembering correctly. Probably a permission issue?

Also, in case it's necessary to create the corresponding Wiki page, I'm not allowed to do that:

You do not have permission to edit this page, for the following reason:

You do not have permission to edit pages in the SkyrimSE namespace.

In the STEP guide instructions, it says that "Only the meshes from this mod will be used." If following the instructions, there will also be textures installed, but no instruction to hide or delete them. Should these be hidden or deleted? If so, further clarification in the instructions might be necessary, if not, that initial statement in the instructions is wrong.

The instructions are accurate. We don't provide instructions on what not to do or redundant instructions. We only mention the most expedient path to the goal. For this one, install the mod and disable the plugin. Done. Some of the textures will be used, but many more will be overridden in the end, so it's not important.

So you stand by the statement "Only the meshes from this mod will be used." on a mod that installs non-mesh files that are not instructed to be removed or hidden? Interesting. Regardless, I got my answer, and the manner and content of that answer tells me I need to take the instructions in the guide with a grain of salt.
