TechAngel85 Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 Discussion topic: Skyrim - A Mountainous Experience by NeverLost & DuskyB Wiki Link Accepted for v2.0.0
z929669 Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 Seems like a no-brainer to me. Nice find. I particularly like that it is basically addressing vanilla meshes not covered by MM (or improving certain MM meshes, IDK?)
TechAngel85 Posted October 7, 2021 Author Posted October 7, 2021 I vote this one in too. Accepted for v2.0.0. Added instructions to the wiki.

Added instructions to the wiki. these new mesh replacers could all be improvements to ELFX in terms of efficiency aside from shape/performance improvements. Heck, they could even be modifications to ELFX resources, IDK. If one of these MrNeverLost meshes is better, then there is a good chance that all of them are.
DoubleYou Posted October 9, 2021 Posted October 9, 2021 This should probably be in Foundation so we can overwrite with Flickering Mesh Fixes since that mod has compatible meshes for it.

DoubleYou Posted October 9, 2021 Posted October 9, 2021 The mod must have updated since those hiding instructions. We need to add the following file to the list of hidden then: meshes/architecture/solitude/smuseleum.nif Edit: Updated Recommendations accordingly.
Jakolanten Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 This is just a heads up but current instruction for MM is to download the mesh tangent fixes which this mod already overwrites.
z929669 Posted May 5, 2022 Posted May 5, 2022 This mod now has a dsouble-sided version that we should be using with Step. Updated instructions likewise.

Seems logical All I'm seeing is the possibility to have more accurate shadows. No proof of this is often because the possibility. I doubt anyone would be able to notice any differences. Doesn't really matter in the end. Just an extra download.

It isn't an added download though. It's one or the other, so seems prudent to grab double sided version.
z929669 Posted May 9, 2022 Posted May 9, 2022 According to sheson's answers to Mousetick's related questions starting here (I suspect he is thinking of this and similar mods' double-sided option with DynDOLOD), it seems advisable to use the double-sided option of this mod with EVLaS. Also, DynDOLOD's terrain underside only affects terrain and not mountains, but the DoubleSidedTextureMask and DoubleSidedMeshMask settings compensate for other meshes ... but still only in LOD and not full.
