Keep in mind that Enhanced Distant Terrain 2 conflicts with these LOD textures and EDT2 is better. that is why we don't install these textures (including normals IIRC)

You do install the textures though, don't you? You install the SRO 512 textures.
Yes, EDT2 does conflict, it's been listed to install the textures and without them those texture lines are back. (I tested that as well while I was doing the above compares).

Yeah but the recommendation said to install the SRO texture pack if SRO was installed

... and that is what I think is wrong. Note should be corrected. Tech, can you confirm taht EDT2 is compatible with these meshes? If not (i.e., "seams are back"), then we need to notify Sparrow, because EDT2 are much better.

With optional SRO Textures  >>  Without optional Textures >> EDT2 only (no HQLOD)

You get hard seams without the textures installed and they are still there without the mod only only using EDT2 as well. Only thing that hides them are the optional textures. This is only noticeable in some snowy areas from what I have tell. I haven't really checked the non-snowy areas much though.

Sorry for the difference in view. Hard to do with the free cam.

Unfortunately I have to start getting read for work so someone else will have to do the checking in other areas to see if these compares hold true. If not, I can do it later this evening.

No HQ LOD textures or meshes or both?

the seams seem to be worse for the vanilla LOD terrain textures.

Oh, and I just confirmed that these are not texture normals. They are diffuse only. Normals are all vanilla.
