TechAngel85 Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I've never likes this mod much. It makes the wolves sound too dog like, imo.
DoubleYou Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 I just listened to these. I like the fact that there is a lot of variety to the wolf sounds. However, AOS, I really prefer the way it makes the howls sound more distant. However, AOS doesn't cover all the wolf sounds, so we should either use this mod in its entirety overwriting AOS, or remove the mod altogether, because I think the mix will kill the choir. It all boils down to whether you think this is an improvement over vanilla normal wolf howls + AOS distant wolf howls, or Realistic Wolf Howls sounds. I wish AOS had a more distinct variety to its distant howls, but the echo is good. I like the variety of Realistic Wolf Howls, but the distant howls sound to close. With that said, I'd be for removing this mod.
DoubleYou Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Changed my mind after experimenting in-game. I love this mod.
Spock Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Changed my mind after experimenting in-game. I love this mod. Could you elaborate a little more on this one? Do you like the medium distance sounds better or the far ones? Because I think the far ones of AOS are more realistic but I didn't compare the medium ones to vanilla (AOS doesn't provide medium ones).
DoubleYou Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Well, the ones I was hearing were mainly the close by ones. Perhaps some hiding of files is in order.
Octopuss Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 How many werewolves do you realistically encounter when not playing one, btw? I'm thinking about installing the mod again, just for the sounds, but...
rootsrat Posted June 9, 2014 Author Posted June 9, 2014 This mod has nothing to do with werewolves. It's wolf howl and bark sounds.
Octopuss Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Omg, I misread the title. It happens to be almost the same as the werewolf mod by that NSJones guy.(where's the facepalm smiley?)
Silverpanther34 Posted August 30 Posted August 30 (edited) 07-Sounds and music--Realistic wolf howls This mod produces a loop in MO2 that says category is not set. Choosing to "stop and configure" scroll to bottom and click on audio, click on OK. Accomplishes nothing. The loop continues. Procced works, however. Just no category. Can be assigned audio category after installation. Right click mod category, scroll to bottom of list, click audio, click somewhere else not in the dropdown. Edited August 30 by Silverpanther34

This is a SkyrimLE mod, so that may be the issue ...Nexus API.
