SRLE: Legacy of The Dragonborn Reqtified

Smooth 60fps is in no way worth the tradeoffs you're making.  Each to their own but IMO you should FPS lock at 30 and ensure you never drop below that point.  Things will still be smooth as your FPS won't be fluctuating but you'll unlock a much better skyrim for yourself.

I´ll try capping to 30fps with the current setup and see if I can stand it :P If that´s the case I might try revisiting those mods, but I have to say, I´m not too fuzzy when it comes to graphics :) More quests and better gameplay is way more important to me.

I'm having trouble in obtaining the Insanity Textures Pack from TES Alliance for SMC

I created an account but can't download the mod because I'm not receiving a confirmation email from them.

Already checked the junk folder and resent the confirmation request. Also contacted support but they're not getting back to me.

Created 2 new accounts with a 2nd and another with a 3rd new email address in different domains but I'm still not getting the confirmation email.

Following the complexity of guide has shown to be easier then creating and confirming an account with TES Alliance.

Anyone else having trouble with this?

It seems that the site is on a blocklist for hotmail and gmail.

Tried a different domain and I was able to login.

Maybe this can be usefull for someone that needs to create an account with TES Alliance

I'm having the same problem. Site seems a bit outdated. Had to use Google to answer the oblivion questions for registration [emoji1]

we can't really make this easy since we can't host the whole package. If there is a mod there that just isn't found or not on nexus maybe we can help if really is worth it.

whoa, I just tried to cap to 30fps and got motion sickness from playing Skyrim. It was downright unpleasant. Experiment over :P

I don't understand... how can you get motion sickness from 30fps?  Did you have motion blur going or something?

Hmm. I play my skyrim "cinematic", which means ~25fps [emoji1]. Was surprised my system runs this setup at all. Got a HD 7850 oc and an i5 3750 or something.

Edit: try disabling depth of field in ENB settings. I found it to be very disturbing.

Well, the lack of smoothness was noticable, and it felt like there was a lag when moving the mouse around, ever so slight. Things like that are enough to make me nauseous. Its hard to explain, and I might be a special case. I do feel nausea at times playing older 3d games. A bit like that..

Ah, I see.  That's unfortunate. :(

Before I start, I just wanted to throw out a big thank you for making this guide. Very extensive and helpful.

After spending the weekend following said guide, everything seems to be in working order (Yay). I just had some questions regarding installation of an extra mod called Bandolier - Bags and Pouches. On the main mod page, the author states "The mod might conflict with any other mods that use the same slots (48, 55, 53, 57, 58, 52, 59)." I noticed when doing the Dual Sheath Redux patch you had us edit the left biped slot to 55 and the right biped slot to 47.

Does this mean that Bandolier is incompatible with this setup due to them both using slot 55? I'm sorry for asking here as I would try to figure it out my self, but I have no idea how these slots work and what messing with them could do. Thanks in advance!

Assuming your ENBoost is setup properly then you're literally running out of memory on your machine.  My only suggestion would be to recombine using SMC lite and give it a try.    Alternatively just play without SMC and drop a few texture modifications of your own in there. :)

It was so pretty while it worked for those few seconds though. :(

I really don't think I'm running out of memory. I have the exact same memory as paul, down to the brand even. Even our GPU is the same.

I did use Performance Monitor to check. RAM usage barely cracks 2.5 GB.

Yes

Edit: you can do that sure.

Dont know why it crashes to you. I had no problems. Something must be wrong there. Anyway enjoy playing.

Hey paul,

Just a crapshoot question about this...

What did you set your memory amount to in the enblocal file? jd mentioned setting up ENBoost "correctly". Maybe I have the wrong calculations?

it's not incompatible. You can use it. Just that the bags or pouches that are using that body slot (55 and 47) when equiped will remove either the left or the right weapon equiped with dual sheath redux. You can always use another slots for DSR when running the patcher. I am using these slots as the Book of UUNP i'm having in my setup is using for the armor pieces all other slots beside these two.

you can use if you want the slots from SRLE. 54 and 45

AutodetectVideoMemorySize=true

this is what i got.

edit: also i dont use vsync from game and enb. I have them disabled and i use the vsync from the video driver.

Hi. After all i didnt wait for next week, i just did it overnight. Ok here is my feedback:

GREAT very nice graphics, no crash after 4 hours playing.

When i wen t to whiterun i had really bad stutters, my game sometime would freeze for 2-3 secs outside in the market (ETAC), and inside whiterun 2. I start monitoring with MSI afterburn, i had in those place Vram usage of 3680 Mb, and memory usage would go from 7000 gb to 8004 Mb. So i know it was  timing to start messing with some configuration.

ENBseries

EnableDepthOfField=false

EnableCloudShadows=false

ENBlocal

[MEMORY]
ExpandSystemMemoryX64=false
ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true
DisableDriverMemoryManager=false
DisablePreloadToVRAM=false
EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=false
ReservedMemorySizeMb=512
VideoMemorySizeMb=7638
EnableCompression=false
AutodetectVideoMemorySize=false

Riva tuner
lock fps at 30.

With this changes above im having less stutters, no freeze yet, the game is playable, but i want to know if is possible to make it more fluid. Does i need more Memory, or more Vram? Does my stutters happens because of going above 3.5 GB Vram, or because im going above my memory limit.

Im using full smc but with most texture at 2k, only some weapons and interior as 4k or 4k-2k. Dyndolod is at Medium, Texture for textgem is at default 256, i didnt went with 512. Im using NLA enb Resolution 1080p.

About the guide, i ended up with some trouble at the end, but i just manage to resolve them taking alternative rout:
Claralux Merge. esp ended up asking for Blowing in the wind. esp as a master
solution: Enable Blowing in the wind in my load order.
SRTODragonbornParallax.esp from SMC its not in the load order of the guide, but it is in my load order, so i just had to sort it to some place im my load order

All in all im very pleased with this setup. I just want to have a more fluid gameplay if its possible with my System and this Setup. Thank you.
