SRLE Extended: Legacy of The Dragonborn

hi, I have some questions:

1. with RDO updated now to 2.0, should I disregard its patches on the guide and make them myself or I'll be better off just waiting for the update?
2. would Ultimate Combat 3.0 be too intensive for this guide? Is there some tool for diagnosing script lag?
3. going to install NLVA instead of vivid weathers, anything important I should know?
4. installing some land and quest mods such as clockwork, beyond reach and vigilant. Do I need to make compatibility patches for these on Worldspace?
5. I think I might uninstall flora overhaul for better FPS. Can I install EVT as-is on the guide or do I need to make some changes? Also, should I uninstall its billboards and run dyndolod again as well?
6. Opting for Immersive Citizens Lite instead of full, as I'll be installing JK or dawn of skyrim. Can I just ignore patches and metadata updates regarding IC?

1. Best to wait until we have looked at it.

2. Not used it so don't know.

3. Best to check Paul and JD's Guide WLSO Page https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Paul666root/SRLE_LOTD_Reqtified/SRLE_LOTD_Reqtified_Optional_Install

4. Not tried beyond reach or Clockwork so don't know Vigilant should be ok to go in as is (I've got in installed and will like add it at some point in teh future). Just make sure you pick up the english addon.

5. Yes that should be ok to add EVT as is. yes, uninstall billbaords for floara mods not used and rerun DynDoLod.

6. Not sure never use the lite version best to look in xeditand conflicts.

I saw earlier that you asked about using mator smash, did you ever decide whether or not it could be used? Mator, of course, says that it supersedes wyrebash, do you think its useful?

I know I am just saying that my wife and daugther are evil (and they both know it) I love them to bits but you shoudln't joke about that sort of thing with a tired guy after he been away for a week.

plus I should add my oldest is only 14 (15 in 3 weeks time) so she defiantly shoduln't be doing any of that well you know. I have told her she is banned from ever seeing boys I am way too young to be grandfather.

Oh right sorry my bad, I was thinking not to comment anything on that but yeah it happened after all. Sorry again.

I'm using Ultimate Combat based with the guide and there are no major script lag. The only lag I'm having is because I have so minimal VRAM that sometimes it will cause stutters when it is dumping its loads. I'm loving the weapon swing effect so much.

There are some mods that check the script latency but that's all I know to diagnostic the script lag besides just test it while playing, the best script latency mod I know is on Sands of Time it also tells you what scripts are being fired at the moment and the latency which is a lot more detailed.

As for NLVA, I'm using that since beginning when I install this guide and the only thing that needs to be done is remove any compatibility patch from Vivid Weather and only use the main assets from the mod because the esp is already been covered by NLVA and you're good to go. I don't think the CR have anything regarding Vivid Weathers @DarkLadyLexy?

In my opinion since I've been using mator smash this whole time, it needs time to learn for it first instead of just blindly smashing things and since it is still in alpha you might want to make bashed patch and mator smash all together and compare them in xEdit since there are some that exist in bashed patch but not in mator smash vice versa so you can combine each other to make it better. More does not mean better... If you find that your smash patch isn't quite right then you adjust the settings until it spits out something very close to what you would do by hand.. Then you tweak the last bit yourself if you have to... Just because wrye bash made changes that smash didn't doesn't mean those changes necessarily need to come in... Wrye Bash makes so many mistakes when dealing with leveled lists that I just stopped using it.

Thank you all very much for the help for my earlier issues. My game now launches but I've encountered a new problem.

When traveling down the road from Solitude, my game crashes due to this error.

"14 Jun 22:31:41 Skyrim has crashed because an object reference with form ID: 0x4E4D6, base form ID: 0x2000BD95 and type: 0x18 failed to produce loaded node most likely due to corrupted mesh or other reasons."

I've looked up the form IDs in TESVEdit and attached relevant pictures

I believe the causes of the crash are associated with the Stunning Statues of Skyrim and No Snow Under The Roof mods

I renamed the relevant files in SSS before installing NSUTR.

I did not delete the original .nif statue files after making copies of the files and putting them in a new directory in the same mod as listed in the instructions.

I believe this is the corrupted mesh which is found in Stunning Statues of Skyrim

prometheus/architecture/statuesnow/statueofmeridiasnow.nif

I renamed the file so that the game wouldn't load the mesh to test if the mesh was corrupted but the game crashed with the same error.

I don't fully understand the problem. How do I debug this? What am I looking for?

Double check the naming of the file. IIRC, this is one of the files that needed to be renamed for NSutR and it should be "statuessnow". I'm on mobile and this is from memory, so I could be wrong.

Yes that's what I did, I got it close to what wrye bash did but it still needs to be tweaked a bit manually. I don't really know what records that should be in or not but since I saw something that don't feel right I just forward it anyways. I still got much to learn regarding this kind of stuffs.

if you renamed the file it will make it crash obviously because the game is looking for the missing meshes and what you do is making more meshes missing from the game that wouldn't help.

your folder name missed an 's' on the statuessnow that's why the game can't find the name as Nebulous said.

I am thinking about it yes I need to learn how to use it first though.

I've tried my best to check the RDO patches looks like we don't need sofia's patch from jd anymore unless I don't know what I'm doing, the rests of the patches pretty much are the same merge plugins also report 3 of the patches are exactly the same except for CFF patch and EFF but there's nothing to be forwarded from there.

Someone tell those bloody rude mod makers to stop updating their mods when I'm about to start another play through. The cheek of some people, seriously.

/Massivetongueincheek if you didn't already work it out. This time I'll be trying to play a High Elf who thinks the Thalmor are all w*nkers...

And as for DarkLadyLexy's little pregnant joke... Gotta watch those evil Scots, I tell ya. They're almost as likely to take the p*ss as us Australians are.
