is anyone else having issue with Toccata not healing you and pretty much attacking everything on site. plus she is quite OP for early game just went through bleak falls barrow a she decimated everything.

Edit: never mind figured it out I failed to notice the MCM and Lack and a healing Spell and the fact she always had a dagger. I'll get Darth to add an MCM recommendation for her.

Isn't Toccata the one with the modded armor spell that also heals you? or was that another one?

yes she is but because she had a dagger she wouldn't use the heal spell when I dropped below the set threshold. I have change he combat class to a defensive mage plus taken away her flame spell via the MCM as it's too powerful early game.

I also have an idea for the merging section that will help speed the merging process up for new users. When I merge my Mods I

      1. Activate all of the mods in the guide

      2. Open up your merge guide and preorder all of the esp's to be merged in the left pane of MO

      3. Run Merge Plugins. When the first box pops up

            1. Right click mouse and choose deactivate all mods

            2. Activate the mods you wish to merge

            3. making sure all mods to be merged are highlighted (blue) right click mouse and choose activate masters

            4. If the OK box is not bold look for esp's with red text and activate them (usually seams to be the esm's or usleep)

      4. Make your merge

Also can you add steps to the merging guide to make a mod called Even Better Quest Objective Patches, Where we cut and paste the patches into it from the main Even Better Quest Objectives mod.

That's standard procedure when using Merge Plugins anyway. I don't see why that's required to be added already. We've said before that it's an advanced modding guide and we're pre-supposing some previous knowledge and some small amount of familiarity with the tools being used. To some extent it's up to the users to do some background research on how to use the tools.

OK guys with Nozzer out of action for the time being due to the sad death of his Motherboard I will be stepping back in for until he is back up and running. With that said I done some version updates and as per order from the wife have changed the UNPB Body to be SFW Nevernude which means no more naked girles when you strip them of armour.

I have a new mobo, processor and memory on order. Plus new case fans cause I replace them every 12 months or so anyway. What I have works OK now for basic stuff like forum surfing but I'll crash at strange times. Just not reliable enough. Should be back and kicking goals in a week or so.

Since One of my requirements was to maintain a fps of 50 I have only used a subset of this to setup my game. While I have not used the whole guide I have a couple of observations.

â€¢    Fences of Skyrim - No more flickering fences - Following the instructions I installed first the optional and then the miscellaneous files in separate mods. The lightning bolt symbol came up for the optional file. I think you only need the miscellaneous to get fences for farmhouses.
â€¢    While performing the Animals Merge I received errors for ESPs “Skytest Immersive Creature†and “Skytest Creature Extensionâ€. When I was installing “SkyTEST - Realistic Animal and Predatorsâ€, I choose to install the optional “SkyTEST - No Spawns (Domestic version)â€. This resulted in a alternative ESM to be installed. When I disabled the No Spawns version, the ESM from “SkyTEST - Realistic Animals and Predators v1_56_03†became active and the merge run without a problem.

Thanks to all who have maintained this guide. I appreciate the time you have given to keep this project going.

Nice, could you point me out what mods should I skip in order to get 50+ fps outdoors?

It took me awhile to figure that one out even after modding for awhile and watching videos. I agree people should read up on the tools we use but the learning curb between aa advanced computer user and an intermediate user can sometimes be pretty big at times.

I'm with Razor on this one. Obvious to me and you, Nozzer, but likely not to others. People link to the guide on Reddit and other forums when others ask what mods they should use with LotD.

Especially with the image links down for setting up merge plugins, maybe a new little write-up would be worth it.

I could do it if no one else has the time / desire.

Edit: But obviously it is your guide, so do what you want, lol. Just a suggestion / offer to help. :-)

Also, I made an Inigo-CACO patch with permission from SmartBlueCat and Kryptopyr. Kryptopyr and Teabag offered to host it on the CACO page, so expect to see that up sometime.

If it takes a while to get up on the CACO page, you guys could probably host it on the SRLE Extended page or merge it into the CR. Or even link to the Dropbox file I uploaded it to.

Nope. More than enough videos around. Link to the best one of those if you must, but I'm not adding what should be easy enough to find elsewhere.

EDIT: Have added a link to Gamer Poets VERY extensive video on the tool. Yes the video's long, but it's very extensive and if people can't understand it after that then I'm afraid I cant help them.

You guys are doing a great job on the history page. It is very convenient for the end user when you are so descriptive with your updates. No more trying to find the fixes in the main guide (Line 345654, where the heck do you find that), Now we know if the update was just a typo fix or an actual mod update, ect, ect. This allows you to get rid of the Changelog guide in my opinion because the base problem was trying to follow the history pages.

I installed all of the LOOT rules last night and my load order came out nothing like your Load order that you uploaded the other day. It would be very helpful to end users if you kept an up to date version of the Load order.txt always available (please just keep it to the guide and no additional mods that you are using from your personal play through). You should also make sure that it has both options for NPC Retexture 1 & 2.

Just a slight correction... You mean the right pane.

Have added a link to GamerPoets video on the Merge Plugins tool. Yes the video's 3/4's of an hour long. So what? I don't apologise for it. If you can't understand the WHOLE operation of the tool after viewing that, I doubt you'll ever pick it up.
