Aiyen Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 The value in the mod furthest to the right is what is used. So if you want to use the SOS acoustic space, then make sure it is the one in the mod furthest to the right. This regardless of what any of the other mods are saying. They are just using the vanilla record from the sound of it.
tschilpi Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Ok guys I tried to make a merged patch for Lootification, but it never finished and so I just closed it.. Now I want to delete the old merged patch and create a new one (since the old one is also bugged). BUT HOW DO I DELETE IT?? I have been searching in all folders to find this goddamn .esp, but it's nowhere. I looked in every Skyrim folder, in the TES5 Folder... I'm getting desperate (Windows search also doesn't find anything: Why?)
rootsrat Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 The file you're after will be in MO's Overwrite folder then.
tschilpi Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Thanks alot! Seems like I've overseen that one. :><: But my ASIS.esp is now missing this Masters .esp, which was the merged patch that I deleted. It won't run TES5 without it. What should I do?
rootsrat Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Deselect asis, redo the merged patch, then rerun the asis patcher. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
tschilpi Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 I deleted the asis.esp and created a new one.. after all, it seemed to work out but I decided to deinstall all the SkyProc Patches and just use the ReProccer and AutoVariants. ASIS seems to make the game unstable and load longer. Lootification the same? But the merged patch worked now.
hellanios Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 do we need both a merged and bashed patch?
EssArrBee Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 No you do not. I'd recommend the bashed patch because of the extra things it can do with the stats merging if you use mods that modify stats like unofficial patches.
Kelmych Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 This guide has a brief overview of what is included in the Wrye Bash bashed patch and the TES5Edit Merged patch. The bashed patch has patches for the most important items, namely leveled lists. The Merged patch does include some compatibility patches not included in the bashed patch.
Mangaclub Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Greetings, i have a question about the general understanding of how mods overwrite each other. I recently started two mods. One that adds more speed to the skyrim clouds and one that adds a Fog Visual effect to different weathers. Attached is a screenshoot of Tes5Edit and now i am wondering if windyclouds on position 6 would negate my changes i made with the Extendes Groundfogs mod on position 5 ?
TheDane Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Maybe someone could answer this. Should i check renumber formid's (Using the merging script) when merging compatibility patches for a mod?
Aiyen Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Your formID´s should match the core mods, hence renumbering them would most likely break the entire thing. Unless I am misunderstanding something!
