  1. I'll check and fix if necessary ...
  2. Triple buffering is necessary (with v-sync set to "always on") for me, as I get screen flicker without these settings (I use 2xHD-6850 CrossfireX). Regarding CCC overrides: Are you certain that BOTH AA and AF must be set in SkyrimPrefs.ini in order to get the respective degree of AA/AF, regardless of the CCC settings? Is there a diff with/without CCC? Based on the above results, it would seem that CCC adds to the VRAM overhead, so depending on the answer to the question abbout the behavior of AA/AF when set or not in SkyrimPrefs.ini, it would seem that it is best to disable AA (and possibly AF) in Skyrim and use SMAA/CCC-AF or SMAA/ENB-AF to gain back VRAM.
  3. They are already in the current release. This is a new dev thread ;)Yeah I almost missed them since they were not on the 2.2.4 page and not in the 2.2.5 changenotes... also the arvark mod.I'll make sure they get into the changelog if not already ...
  4. This is appropriate for STEP if it can be demonstrated that it 'fixes' anything or attenuates any obviously unintentional aspect of the vanilla barter system (of which I honestly know little about). It is especially interesting if there are some minimalist settings that we could recommend. I will probably use this personally by the sound of it.
  5. They are already in the current release. This is a new dev thread ;)
  6. I would like to see a comprehensive compare of WATER against PW ... underwater, river/lake/ocean surfaces with and without reflection, texture options (using "best" of former), foam/splash/flow compares. Side-by-side splitscreen compares would be best. Alternatively, short sequence of one followed by same short sequence of the other. Easy to ask I suppose :P
  7. Need to test repeatability of results by running 2 trials of each settings combo using Skyrim only, CCC only and both combined. To test SMAA, run this all again with SMAA/MSAA enabled/disabled. It is pretty well known that SSAA costs much more than MSAA, but SMAA should be better than MSAA in terms of performance.
  8. One of my favorite games of all time ... probably the best Civ version too.
  9. Lots'o good suggestions, guys. Thanks. Hopefully Farlo will step in to help manage this release, as I am swamped with RL and just trying to keep my own game up to date. Aside from that, we will soon be revamping our server, and I also want to add more automation and functionality to the wiki to incorporate mod-testing functionality, parse out STEP by performance category, add Packs, and incorporate Skyrim Revisited in some way to name a few. I will keep schedule, but there may be very few additions this iteration unless we get more helmsmen to help manage the new additions and keep vigilant on the community to provide the necessary mod testing data. Depending on availability, We may even need to relax the current update schedule from biweekly to 3-4 weeks. Touch and go, but keep the suggestions coming anyway ;)
  10. Thanks for the benchmark data. You should add your system specs to the wiki. Once we get the functionality working to cross reference the performance data, system specs and mod setup data, we'll add this (not sure when we'll get to that though).
  11. All fixed. Thanks for the feedback!
  12. You should revive it on MS forum. ... er, or add it if it is not there :P
  13. EDIT: Looks like someone did mention it (Move that post from elsewhere to here for the record ... see preceding). Fairly stunned that nobody reported that the new guide was not loading up in the past three hours .... just noticed myself after being away for awhile Anyway, fixed a couple more loose ends and added some info to the changelog.
  14. Yes, reproducing using purely vanilla means with the HR texture packs and all DLC as well as max texture resolution ... yada, yada, yada. Whether using fast travel or artificially spawning many objects should not matter. The point is to prove that this is not related to 3rd-party modding and is reproducible under pure vanilla so that no fingers can be pointed elsewhere.
  15. Several stragglers from last release and a few more on hold. Let the next iteration begin!
  16. BUG REPORTS ONLY PLEASE! Please post any bugs or issues that you think may be related to this release on this thread. Those issues will be fixed, if possible, in the next STEP update. Progress on the next STEP release can be found in this forum. Make sure to check back often for updates! v2.2.5 Guide ChangelLog (changes made since initial release)
  17. Help with this release! v2.2.6 ChangeLog Help with this release! For replacers, the test case should be a high-quality screenshot compare. We don't need a lot, just two or three sets of compares on the thread in Mod Suggestions (MS) marked [ TESTING ]. For non-replacers, please head over to MS and read the Announcement. Then go into the testing thread and contribute some test ideas or some of your own test results. The idea is that testing --and logging of that activity on the threads-- will be touch & go for a lot of mods, and it should be pretty clear by anyone stumbling upon any mod thread what the end result is. Let us know if you want to be a Mod Tester!
  18. Yep, all fixes should be core. Updated OP for Core vs non-core info. Could you update the mod pages for me? ;)
  19. It is all set up. Have not propagated the release yet. Just waiting to confirm that all mod pages are in place and any other issues are resolved.
  20. Dual Sheath Redux is really more of a fix I think. It does not change gameplay at all, but it does add a missing feature set, right? The other issues are resolved ... thanks! Anything else? What is missing?Any mod order changes?Any suggested changes to Guide instructions? Can someone check that all of the respective wiki mod pages have been updated?
  21. Looks good! Could you (or anyone) add some screens to the gallery?
