  1. Yep, it looks like the SMIM textures are tied to the SMIM meshes and nothing else. I say we take DYEMB's advice and simply not use the 40 - option.
  2. If you don't select the 40 - furniture chest options, it should skip the SMIM textures/meshes and then you can just use Detailed Chest textures without a problem, right? Not ideal, as any mesh fix should be pretty necessary. Let's see how Detailed Chests looks wrapped around SMIM.
  3. Yep, that is a big problem. So these are Detailed Chests wrapping around SMIM meshes? What does Detailed Chests look like with SMIM ESP active?
  4. I fail to see the issue raised concerning the SMIM plugin. Detailed Chests textures seem to wrap around SMIM just fine. Could someone create a screen compare of the problem if it exists? Also, Detailed Chests is better overall, IMO. SMIM textures are also good, but not enough to warrant that the former should be overwritten by the latter.
  5. HDET is at the end of Fixes, I'll move it to Sec G just before EDT. Also, I removed No Stretching, as it is pretty clear that this mod (Like Better Rocks) changes mountain UV maps in an undesirable way. Changelog updated.
  6. ... IMO, the best television series .... EVER. AWESOME ending
  7. I love this mod and advocate for STEP Core (if applicable in terms of compat) and to Extended
  8. Yes, any aesthetic Core texture or mesh that Extended would overwrite should be removed from the guide completely. If we make decisions about Extended, it should be because we agree that the chosen replacer is actually better than the Core version. Disease Descriptions can stay, but these and any texture/mesh assets should be dropped from the Guide. We can do a more thorough evaluation of Extended in the next release.
  9. RE permissions issues, I'll look into this and let you all know.EDIT: @ Smile44 See if you can move Pack pages now. I added a new user group to enable Pack edits and placed you in that. @Farlo To allow everyone this ability, I could also disable protection for Pack namespace ... Farlo, what do you think?
  10. See OP. Any volunteers interested in moving this guide into the wiki?
  11. HDET should still be there for the map snow no? I figure the noise would just get overwritten by EDT.I stand corrected (if that is your recommendation, then we should add this just above EDT). I can take care of this and all of what Kelmych pointed out, but I think it would be good exposure to the SMW process if Kelmych or WilliamImm would take a stab at it.
  12. I am removing Quality Wold Map empy placeholder from the 2.2.7 ModList. This is what was causing the yellow triangle (for future reference). Also, HD Enhanced Terrain is in the mod list, but it should be Enhanced Distant Terrain. (I will take care of this too) * Trees HD BCFs are outdated. They should incorporate the deleted textures ... any volunteers? (Just use the current BCFs to create the result, then omit the dropped textures and re-create and replace the old BCF)
  13. Reopened, since I did not find a Riften mod thread in MS. I did merge another I found in a different forum.
  14. I had already added the load order changes to the 2.2.7 updated changelog. The load order for all that is relevant is in a post in the Release Admin forum thread.
  15. Removed from testing for the moment.
  16. I entirely agree with this This is definitely my thoughts for Core. TBD for Extended.
  17. I like this one, but for reasons indicated on the EDT2 thread, I think that we should use EDT-Earth instead (this one breaks up the roads too much) ... seconds?
  18. I propose that we accept this one and go with Earth. Seconds?
  19. I'll concede to not using DTTL noise map for terrain, since it does break up the roads and it does complicate installation unnecessarily. However, I propose EDT-Earth rather than HDET, because the latter is a bit too blotchy, IMO. The former uses a finer grain that seems to better indicate grass clumps that are farther away. gallery below (image names represent the mods under review. Note that this looks at the scene under EDT2, which I think is really a no-brainer) https://www.dropbox.com/sh/fnnk87cub1bikf6/vvIcdabUAZ I propose we accept this one ... seconds?
  20. No need to create another page, you can change the Pack's name by going to the Pack's page and using 'Page Tools' -> 'Move'. It's pretty self-explanatory, just enter a new name (Make sure you keep the "Pack" prefix!) and optional reason, un-check "Leave a redirect behind" and hit 'Move'. The Pack prefix is what makes the title start with "Pack:", so don't include that in the new name. I just moved your Pack into the Pack namespace, it can now be found at Pack:STEP Weather Pack (WIP). Side notes: perhaps we should make it a guideline that packs can't start with STEP unless they're "officially STEP related". All Packs will reside in the Pack namespace (designated by the prefix mentioned above). I'm not sure if I can restrict that through the form itself, but if not we'll have to update STEP:Main with buttons.Adding mod lists didn't work because your Pack wasn't in the Pack namespace, it should work now. You already added two mod lists in the form, so now when you visit the page you'll see "Add Modlist" buttons under each corresponding subtitle. Click that button and you'll be able to write out an intro and outro for that table and add mods to the list like you added tables to the page. This doesn't seem to be working for me, I'm having the issue where the popup window is really small. Did that fix not get ported over from the Devwiki?1. yes, we will eventually need to add detailed instructions on the Forms once we finalize2. Fixed the popup Form.
  21. I and/or Farlo will reply later when we have some time!
