Oh, works fine with Sky Haven Temple Enhanced - Recruit More Blades! Just finished a playthrough with both these mods. Also you can still use the original trading mechanic to trade between you and follower via talking to them, so there is still that if you want it. There are other options in the MCM menu too.

That Save Cleaner is BLOODY BRILLIANT! WORKS WONDERS! Should be MOD of the YEAR in my opinion.

2) They it will leave them alone! It's Kuertee! He thinks of everything! 4) Yes, it has a MCM menu. BUT I don't think there is an option to adjust how long the idle time before sandbox mode. Also the followers don't go sandbox with enemies nearby.

Endgame Character Overhaul by Xannon98 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49330/? Here is another overlooked mod that has a permanent status in my load-order. Author's Description: This mod will add perks to vanilla and DLC's followers accordingly with their original fight style and class - they will now level along with the player and will be able to heal themselves in combat (some more than others depending on their class and mana pool). Says it all, the healing part is brilliant, you are now not limited to Vilja and Cerwiden for healing type followers. Don't worry the healing isn't uber, it won't save your life if you're getting owned but it works quite subtly unlike Cerwiden actually. The other changes are very vanilla and isn't out of place, Lydia is still a sword and board fighter but she levels with you and uses perks as she goes! Great mod.

Yep, does both those things! Makes followers essential and allows multiple followers. NOT a single patch required!

pack A Real Explorer's Guide to Skyrim
Garfink replied to CJ2311's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
The only problem I have is the inclusion of Steam only mods and for some odd reason I just can't get the steam subscription to work properly! (Yes, I have a legit copy of Skyrim, 2 in fact!) So I currently have a Russian copy of Pit Fighter installed... works, the audio is in English but the text is gibberish. Great mod though. -
SKYRIMLE Camping Kit of the Northern Ranger by The Northern Ranger
Garfink replied to rootsrat's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
The mod works great, makes your camp so much more luxurious. Works a treat with followers in sandbox mode. It does get left out of my load order sometimes because I run of space the frostfall's basic tents simply works. -
Simple Multiple Follower by Kuertee https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/31581/? Just thought I will bring this mod under the spotlight. Very underrated follower mod. It doesn't have as many functions as AFT, EFF or UFO (does anyone still use UFO??), but what it has is unique and makes up for what it is missing in my opinion and its the follower mod I am using. (I have used them all before). Advantages I can see: 1) Super compatible with every follower mod out there. Works 100% fine with Interesting NPC without any "experimental" patching or other adjustments. I've had issues with iNPC followers & Vilja in the past. 2) Has this super auto equip function, where the follower can look in your inventory or the inventory of your other followers and pick and choose what he/she wants to equipment, even reload on ammo and potions! Its very immersive and makes them feel like they are making the choice. Sometimes its surprising what they equip. You can of course do it manually or take back anything you don't want them to equip too. This function also saves you the micromanagement of your inventory which is always good. 3) Doesn't use the scroll menu, uses them instant pop-up menu which I like better. Its faster and more responsive and you don't have to scroll through a whole lot of pointless dialogue just to trade with your characters. 4) It has the BEST sandbox function all the follower mods, after about 10 sec of idle time, your followers will go find something to do, you don't need to command them to rest! It just works seemlessly. The things I miss in the other mods: 1) Leveling with your character beyond what is programmed. I solve this problem with the Endgame Character Overhaul which pretty much fixes this issue and re-programs the followers so they still function in the late game effectively. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49330/? 2) Can't micromanage how your followers will fight, they just fight as they do. Which I don't have a problem with, but some may. I find that you can pretty much crudely adjust how followers fight by what you arm them with. 3) That pop-up menu could be a problem with Xbox 360 controllers I guess. I don't use one so I don't know. It's a mod that is simple and its now my follower mod of choice.

SKYRIMLE Follower Commentary Overhaul - FCO by terzaerian
Garfink replied to statmonster's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
This mod is a MUST! Brilliant idea and works amazingly. There is a lot of interactions between followers also. Its funny to see Lydia initiating conversations for once!! It was something that Vilja used to do, strange seeing happening with vanilla followers. -
SKYRIMLE Real Shelter - Full Release (by Robinsage)
Garfink replied to EssArrBee's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I have been using the COT version and it works like a charm. No problems in many hours of play. Still working where it should be working. Its sometimes surprising to see it work.. as you walk under something and suddenly there is no snow/rain, its freaky and it reminds you the mod is there. I sign of a good mod. The only problem is that you aren't suppose to save in a shelter and that could happen inadvertently or you could forget not to. Not a major problem though. -
SKYRIMLE Arrow Recovery System Overhaul by Seb263
Garfink replied to CJ2311's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Just started a new game that isn't devoted to archery and even though I tend towards a multi-purpose load order so I can allow my character to grow in any direction in game. I decided to drop this mod as I don't really really mind my arrows disappearing and I can adjust the rate of arrow loss (globally) in my bash patch to save a load order spot. Even though I merge many of my plug-ins I still find my self running out of spots! -
Problem with the mod at the moment is it doesn't allow transfer of enchanted items through the chest between saves. The enchantments disappear if you do and the item reverts to its original state. In other words, its pointless at the moment, because you can just player.additem regular items if you need it. Great idea and the author plans to add this function, but doesn't know how to do it technically.

It's this mod that causes the flashes in the sky?!?!? I was wondering what that was, I even uninstalled minty lighting thinking it was that but I had never had issues with that mod, happy to uninstall it as it didn't add too much to the game... but that flashing in a perfectly fine day is very distracting! I love the rest of the mod though, I like it so much that I will put up with the flashing and pretend its lightning off in the distance.... but it is annoying.

ACCEPTED Stealth Skills Rebalanced (by kryptopyr)
Garfink replied to kryptopyr's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I love using Lock Overhaul and I always autopick because I hate the mini game that much. What I do to make it more realistic and not to totally nerf the lockpicking tree is: 1) I turn off the level requirements for autopick, I see no reason why I can't "TRY" to pick a master lock at level 1. 2) Then I turn off the global chance of lock picking or adjust to 1% and leave the rest of the chances as it is. Now what happens is you have 1% chance at level one to unlock that master lock, so you'll likely break 100 lockpicks before opening one with out any perks/levels in the lockpicking tree. Works out great in-game. As for this Stealth Skill Rebalance mod, I really want to give it ago, but I just can't let go of SkyRe to use it. (I assume its not compatible with SkyRe Perks, correct?) -
To be fair to this pluggin, I've had Skyrim crash after a save with just the traditional build-in autosave feature. In both cases the saves work, it just CTD just after the crash. This plug-in may just exacerbate the problem because it saves more frequently and in more script intensive times. I suspect this occurs because I've tonnes of scripted mods going and having issues, and likely not a problem with autosave manager itself. I also foresee problems with Real Shelters which specifically tell you not to save the game inside Shelters! I usually turn of the save every 10 minutes feature of autosave manager off myself and just incremental save after combat and travel. I intend to reinstall this sometime during my current new game when everything else is stable again (testing quite a few new mods in this play through). Just gave up on my UBER archer/stealth/smith/enchanting character. I discovered the "earthquake" enchantment and it makes every arrow stagger opponents almost every time and it was just getting too easy. I am not sure where this earthquake enchantement comes from but its too powerful. I will avoid using it from now on in future playthroughs. (BTW, hi guys, I am back playing Skyrim!)

I have had crashes during saves with this mod, no sure exactly why. Not so with the vanilla auto save or menu save.

This is a brilliant mod! Short of having no combat music, you can now be ambushed by enemies because they are not announce by the stupid music. Whilst keeping the option of the music fanfare once combat is well and truly engaged. The only argument against the mod is that you can just turn off the music altogether... but that would be very bland. It's not hard to stop the mod temporarily to avoid the brawl bug. Highly Recommended.

SKYRIMLE Arrow Recovery System Overhaul by Seb263
Garfink replied to CJ2311's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I have been using this mod for over a month now and its excellent. The ability to adjust the breakability of individual types of arrows just makes sense to me and automatic retrieval of arrows is an awesome function. I am not so enamored with the repairing of arrows function, as I think arrows are too easy to come by as it is. Good thing is you can turn this off. Nice mod overall. -
SKYRIMLE Automatic Variants (by Leviathan1753)
Garfink replied to Anosognos's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I've always wanted to use this mod, but in the long past I've never manage to get proccer running properly, I kept getting an error message during the process. That was a long time ago, I am going to give this mod another try and see if I can get it running. I would love to see even more variety with the falmer, undead and giants. I think there are too many different types of animals as it is, with real wildlife, immersive creatures and monster mod, so I will try leaving those out this time around. Wish me luck. -
Which ENB are you using and why?
Garfink replied to DoYouEvenModBro's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
@Aiyen With "performance" I meant that the author's default vision and its relative ENB settings don't use the more fps intensive settings of ENB and hence by default it has more "performance" than say Somber on its "high" settings. And yes, even with a high-end graphics card there is still a difference between "performance" enb settings & "ultra" enb settings when it comes to general performance. (on Somber Ultra settings, the game is almost unplayable and very choppy even on a uber computer) Its all relative really. So as long as the author of the comment tells us what ballpark hardware he is running, I think the information is still useful to those that isn't running the same hardware. @DoYouEvenModBro To truly calibrate your monitor, you'll need an external piece of hardware and a stable lighting environment. No piece of software or manual color/brightness adjustment can do it properly! You can spend an immense amount of money to properly calibrate your monitor! For gaming, don't worry about it, just adjust it to how you like it and call it a day. -
I used to use Harvest Overhaul, the only problem I had with it was harvesting just got too easy and made alchemy too easy, so I don't use it anymore, but its a good mod if you don't mind that. As for mages, I use forgotten magic and mighty magic and apocalyse and with the spells and powers introduced, being a mage works again with a TON more build options!

wanted Installing ASIS and SkyRe with some additional stuff
Garfink replied to Iroha's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
@Nevertide Yes, stoneskin/oakflesh spell is broken with the guide, the spell costs too much. But I haven't notice any other glaring problems though. -
https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/32057/? Weapons and Armor Degradation and Repair with MCM Menu Options Amazing mod, adds quite elegantly a much missed function to Skyrim, totally underrated and changes gameplay quite a bit. Works quite well with S.T.E.P. only issue is it doesn't like the reproccer for SkyRe, but works fine with all the other overhauls.Â

I can recommend Dynamic Loot Lite as an alternative, its more customizable than its bigger brother and covers all the loot and works a charm.
