  1. It relates to the esp included in the Dual Sheathe Patch that you need to replace the .esp file in the Amidianborn wolf armor mod. So you would be editing the replacement esp not the original one. On topics 'Amidianborn' related, both Scaled Armors and Saviours Hide are now obsolete as they are included in the new book of Silence update. :) Thanks. I understand, sort of... I assume we need to keep the original Skyforge weapons .esp and the edit to forward the unofficial patches from that, no? EDIT - on second look it seems not, that the new esp in the DSR patch has the same name and thus will overwrite aMidianBornb's original .esp. Further I assume Neo has forwarded the content from the unofficial patches and thus we do not need to edit the file to incorporate these. I think .... Yes I forwarded the uskp change.
  2. Damn. 1313 looked really good but you never know behind the scenes.
  3. An SR version would be amazing too.... totally understand if you tell me no though. :)
  4. Wrote up a page. https://wiki.step-project.com/Dual_Sheath_Redux I didn't know what else you needed me to do with it. I wasn't sure what section to put it in... equipment, effects, or fixes as it gets rid of a vanilla deficiency. Let me know.
  5. Added a new patch for aMidianBorn Wolf Armor and Skyforge Weapons (which I assume will get into STEP eventually), replace the original esp with mine then run the patcher. Careful - there is a conflict with GDO so make sure the esp is AFTER GDO (this goes for the original esp too).
  6. Phew busy night, but I managed to get out a DSR patch for aMidianBorn Skyforge Weapons anyhow. :) The tax man cometh and Neo is happy!
  7. Sheesh, walk away for 2 minutes and the entire load order needs updates! lol. Love the spiffy new Mod Author tag.
  8. Guide changes done, going to check what I've been missing for 2 days now. DSR - Patch for beast form is out. Pretty much everyone I had in PM that had patcher issues found other Skyrim problems so fairly sure the patcher is fine. Still going to see about this eventually though. Need to finish up another mesh pack soon. ;)
  9. Hehe ah yes my old skeleton files. :) As for your initial crash... weird but hey it works. :)
  10. The patcher needs to be run regardless so it can setup objects for the base game and any DLCs installed. I have support packs for all mods in STEP that majorly affect meshes (Elemental Staffs and De-LARP-ification). Many Skeletons are available currently that support the mod but main suggested one is XP32 Maximum Skeleton back hip dagger version along with the Magic-Shield arm patch for non-fnis users(since STEP does not currently use FNIS).
  11. I used Phinix before and he does make a good preset. I haven't used the latest yet though.
  12. My plans are (when I get to it) to run COT/RLO combo with some ENB on top. I haven't chosen any particular ENB for this job just yet. Mean time (over vanilla lighting) I'm using Unreal Cinema Directors Cut with shadows turned down to 2048 for performance.
  13. Finally hit the hot files list. :)
  14. I also have a love-hate relationship with Apacii SkyHair... some are over the top, some aren't. The good part is it affects only the initial char creation and you don't have to use the over the top ones if you don't want to. I prefer to keep then enabled but I definitely wouldn't use a big all NPC hair replacer with it or anything like that... I like having the choice :).
  15. Yeah, the guide will be the big key that opens the floodgates so to speak. I might try to create an installation walkthrough video somehow... not entirely sure how though. Problem is during the week I only have a few hours a night to do it all. I'm glad the mod seems to be doing well but still hasn't hit hot files yet despite 120+ endorsements and 16 FOTM votes... if it ever gets on the main page that number will go up quickly I imagine.
  16. Upcoming changes for Skyrim Revisited (I don't have time to update the actual guide tonight but...): - Add "Point The Way" - took a quick look and it edits the Riften location by deleting a bunch of pointers, however, I trust Arthmoor not to do anything that will royally screw something up. - Remove "Lantern Caretakers", Reason: Little benefit, taking up multiple esp slots due to patches. (would add yet another one with Point The Way...) - Remove "Psychosteves Golden Gods Shrines", replace with "Shrines HD" to follow STEP. Golden shrines do look out of place at wilderness shrines/poor areas. Upcoming changes for Dual Sheath Redux: - Fix beast form, vampire form, and player changing race(via showracemenu). Currently they "stop" the effect, save and reload will fix. Will be included next version update. - Going to increase the memory allocation for the patcher, hope that helps some people with long mod lists having issues. Many of them seem to be general SkyProc problems though, not specific to my mod. Does not happen with SR. - Mesh packs in work, but time consuming. Mesh editing guide in work also but slowly since I'm having to fix things and it's a holiday :).
  17. If it is, I wouldn't know how to do is as I'm not an animator.
  18. Weapons on back, dagger on back type placement is already achieved if you use the XP32 Maximum Skeleton variants. Honestly I started with brown and migrated to grey... lol to each their own I guess. Yes. Not this time. I have run SUM with both AV and DSR without issue. I think the case is people stacking mods and running out of memory, in the SUM options there is a memory increase option, perhaps users with issues could try that.
  19. Discussion thread: Dual Sheath Redux by Neovalen Wiki Link Ever wondered why you couldn't see your left hand weapon in Skyrim? What about staves, they don't just disappear into thin air when sheathed! You want to carry your shield on your back you say? Look no farther! Current Features: This mod is the spiritual successor to DSpSoB by DarkPhoenixxy which has unfortunately languished in obscurity and has many problems which have gone unfixed as the author has seemingly dropped support. Even though I did not use any of his assets for this file, he came up with the original mod which inspired me to make this version. To maximize compatibility, I have utilized the same biped slots and skeleton nodes as his mod. Requirements To Use: Skyrim v1.9.32.0 or greater SKSE v1.6.13 or greater SkyUI v3.4 or greater Java Runtime Environment 7 update 13 or greater XP32 Maximum Skeleton (Recommended) or other skeleton which supports left hand weapon, shield on back, and staff on back nodes. This is my own mod which has just been released. It was tested by several members here on the S.T.E.P. forums and community. Linking here for tracking purposes/consideration. Left hand weapons and sheathes. Shields stored on back. Staves stored on back. All current DLCs supported. Mod Configuration Menu(MCM) compatible. SkyProc patcher makes it easy to integrate custom shield, staff, or weapon mods with minimal effort. Custom Races Supported (must be using compatible skeleton). Accepted for STEP v2.2.5 --Thanks to Neovalen for creating this one and supporting the necessary fixes (and for creating the mod page. --Special thanks to torminater for the detailed testing
  20. Here is the new link: https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/34155
  21. I contacted support, apparently I need to remake the mod page from scratch. Will give the new link in a few minutes.
  22. Dual Sheath Redux has been released to the wild: https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/33658 Unfortunately I somehow ended up with no comment thread or sub-forum. I submitted a support ticket to the Nexus.
  23. Without using a TeX optimizer your likely to run out of RAM quicker so you may need to use smaller texture sizes or trim the mods down.
  24. Thanks for all the well-wishes guys. Keep on testing. So far I haven't received any reports of anything major not working so unless I hear something else... probably ready for release.
  25. Woke up sick as a dog. Went to Dr. and now on heavy meds. Had a cold followed by a cough that has gone on for 4 weeks and suddenly today full blown walking death. Apparently I have an ear infection, sinusitis, and bronchitis... lovely. Hoping I can move soon, for now... *crash*.
