Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Hey guys, sorry I've been kinda mute the last few days... real life family pulling me away. Going to do a full update of what I've missed now. :) -

That's what I do. All my half size normals are in a separate folder directly below the original mod. -

Thanks will update. Yeah I'm not using them myself. In this case the main file is really the optional... lol. -

Master problems would definitely cause ctds at start. Load up Wrye Bash through MO and verify your not missing someone's master. -
That's odd... Uncapper isn't creating any log file but it's definitely active, I was able to give myself 5 perks per level-up. Fuz Ro D'oh and Nitpick say "Unsupported runtime version 091D0000" and CFM Extensions says "CFM_extensions compatible with only Skyrim 1.8.151.0" so I guess those aren't being activated after all. I hope the authors are quick about updating :P"C:\Users\\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\SKSE also has some logs.

There should be logs in your main skyrim dir for everything SKSE loads via dll.

Dual Sheath Redux Update: I have completed Shield and Sword Meshes For Vanilla. Moving On To Staves, Maces, Axes, and Daggers. I have obtained permission to create compatibility patches for Elemental Staffs and De-Larpification from their respective authors. :) Still looking for a mesh expert though as I have a few sheath tabs facing the wrong way and I don't know how to edit them myself... -

It should be placed directly in the data folder... (i.e. just click install as the path is correct inside the file) Nope, since we're using the crafting only version of WIC it's not required. -
Fuz ro doh, Nitpick, Uncapper, and other DLL mods are likely not working.

I already state to remove the conflicting files from RCI. I'll double check detailed Chests when I get home. -
ACCEPTED Ultimate HD Fire Effects (by BuzzDee84)

Amen to that. 8k is overkill. 4k is fine for large detailed objects but 2k is tops for fx. -

Rpsgc put me in my place... lol. I didn't realise I still had DeLarpification installed when testing and it ADDS a sheath... lol silly me. More progress tonight! -

In case anyone knows the mesh I'm having issue with is: meshes/weapons/draugr/draugrsword.nif ... aka the Ancient Nord Sword. In game it has a sheath but the nif doesn't have one that I can see in NifScope? Any help appreciated. -
I never install new patches until about a week afterwards to allow time for USKP updates. Also for people to update their SKSE plugin DLLs which stop working

I will likely add them back in yes. Though I am a little wary of adding things until 1.9 is out of beta.... Attention focused more on finishing DSR right now but rest assured I have a list of mods to go through :) -

Yeah not looking forward to 1.9 as it means another round of mod patching (esp USKP) but rest assured I will update for it once it goes live. Please do let me know if it was related to 1.9.... at the moment I've set steam to not update me. :) -

Yeah this SkyUI fiasco is a little tiring... hope they sort it all out soon. Lucky for me, my personal mod was unaffected and it didn't stop my progress. Mod scripting is now READY FOR RELEASE. Only thing left is meshes (weapons and skeletons). If anyone is a good NIF expert out there, I could use your help. Send me a PM (make sure your PMs are enabled please!). I can do most of the weapons but a few of them confuse the crap out of me. -

My guide is for 1.8, I have not tried 1.9 as of yet. -

Interesting idea... but your right probably horribly complex. My mod is going well as stated before I have to do meshes for some of the weapons yet but having trouble with some of the weapon placements on xp32 skeleton so I may have to make a modded version to include with it. Luckily the permissions on the skeleton are wide open. Mainly my concerns are on the male side of things as female appears fine. Script is perfect except trying to get NPCs to transition properly when the user disables NPC shield on back. I should have that fixed soon however. I have a few ideas on how to do it. -
Of course they do. Skyrim was never designed to even work with Dual GPU because its basically a console port. The water bug is unfortunate but I haven't run into it very much and worth the extra performance IMO.

Personally hate the HDR in Skyrim so I consider it being disabled a blessing. Easiest way to tell... look at the sky then down at the ground... if you see.eye adaptation then HDR is on.
