SKYRIMLE Project Parallax Remastered (by Osmodius)
Astakos replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Thanks Neo! I will surely give it a go and look through the mod's options to see how it is best tailored to SR + Cabal's textures. -

It surely looks great! Have you noticed any performance hits Neo? Since in SR guide Skyrim HD then SRO is used and in addition I am using cabal's all landscape/city mods; do u think that i can still use the SRO version of this mod? -
DROPPED Borderless Window (by virusek)
Astakos replied to rpsgc's question in Other Utilities Support
Tks Neo & Aiyen for the heads up! If I am to remove it, for my personal testing purposes, I still have these 4 questions: 1. Will I have to un-tick the window mode in the options menu of Skyrim Launcher? 2. Do I need to alter anything in skyrim.ini and/or skyrimprefs.ini? 3. I assume that I change the 2 options in enblocal.ini (ForceBorderless & ForceBorderlessFullscreen) into false 4. Do I still have to keep the Double Cursor Fix mod? is it needed? Thanks guys! -

I see! Thanks for the explanation Aiyen. TBH I have not noticed anything suspicious while using it, but again it could be just me. -

Subject mod was part of SR guide but not anymore for SR:LE. Is there any particular reason for that? I am using v. 1.2 with ENB 0.200-0.204 (not tested 0.205 yet...) and it works fine in my system. Also, having: ForceBorderless=true ForceBorderlessFullscreen=true , in enblocal.ini Thanks! -

CTD and Performance patch ENBoost (by Boris Vorontsov)

With my AMD 7970 3GB is working like a charm, at least on the RAM figures. I am using MEM INFO to monitor in-game RAM and FPS and I have been positively surprised by the numbers shown. The only figure that i do not know how it performs is the figure of VRAM, as to do some comparison, since MEM INFO is not displaying that. As far as I know SPM, cannot hook up well with ENB enabled, so do u guys have any ideas of how I can monitor in-game VRAM in conjunction with RAM as to have a more objective comparison? -
We would appreciate a brief description of how you solved it! Thanks!

I fully agree! Neo, as I am still learning how to move things around with TES5EDIT...I checked the esp of this mod last night and noticed some compatibility issues with Dungeon Quest Awareness (1 issue) and a few more with Unique Region Names. Did I do right that I created a patch for them? P.S.: Don't get me wrong here guys...I knew nothing about modding Skyrim a few months ago nor about any of the applicable tools (TES5EDIT, MO, WB, etc...). What I have learned so far was solely due to installing and uninstalling SR following Neo's guide to the letter and also reading a lot from forums, articles, etc...but...I still need the re-confirmation from you TES5EDIT experts out there as to what I see/figure out is right or wrong! Thanks!

Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback
Astakos replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Following SR guide, only recently I have noticed that NPCs which have dagger on back, the dagger looks too distant from their armor/garments. Is that normal or do you guys have an idea what might have gone wrong to my installation? -
If that is the error I was having; i.e. runtime error on C++ redistributable when trying to run dawnguard.esm in the bashed patch process, then try to install version 302 of Wrye Bash. This worked for me although I really do not know why v.303 throws an error. Used to work fine...!!

Thanks Ciccigomma. It was my mistake! They are disabled now. -

After creating the Bashed Patch the merged esps are automatically disabled in MO and no, you don't have to select them again in WB, they're already selected automatically (you'll a "+" for each merged mods) New Unofficial Dragonborn Patch out: should I simply replace the old one with the new or I'll have to TES5Edit again with the new esp all the mods that requires the UDP? Well, err, in my MO they are not automatically disabled. They are still ticked. Yeap, I am running WB through MO. I have 302 version of WB since 303 still crashes for me when merging patches. -

Just a newbie question here regarding Wrye Bash... When doing the Bashed Patch (as per SR) and selecting Merge patches in the right pane of WB (under Mergeable Mods) the following esp are ticked/shown: Traps make Noise.esp ABT-Progressive Damage (With Nord Hero Arrow).esp moveitLWT.esp skyrimaguas_Bigger_better_Sun.esp (this is not in SR but I do like it) WAF-ABT Patch.esp That means that after creating the bashed patch I can safely deselect these esps from the ESP pane of MO? When rebuilding the bashed patch (i.e. due to a new esp addition) do I have to select these esps again and then build it? Thanks! -

Thing with these types of programs is that in my prior experience is that they're finicky; when it says it wants C++ 2008 that's exactly what it wants, and it won't work with 2010. Try installing the 2008 package alongside the 2010 version and see if the problem with 303 doesn't clear up. Odd though. The Bashed Patch is where it's supposed to be when running under MO, so that's fine. Actually I just realised that I also had MSVC++ 2008 redistr alongside with 2010. So, still 303 version crashes when building the bashed patch (while loading dawnguard.esm). Using 302 seems to resolve this, but it is still a bit weird as WB 303 used to work in the past! -

Is anybody else having a crash when trying to build bashed patch with Wrye Bash 303? When it loads Dawnguard.esm it crashes displaying a C++ runtime error and Wrye Bash closes. I am running it through MO as per SR instructions. Using Win 7 64bit. Looking around for this issue I read that 302 version is ok. Anyone has encountered this before? Thank you! -

Yeap! Also you can disable version verification of different aspects in the MCM menu of SkyUI. -

I just updated to the latest version of SKSE 1.6.14 Overwrote the exe and dll files in game folder, removed the old SKSE from MO, installed the new one -scripts only-, moved my old skse.ini file to where it was before, enabled it. My save game denies to load. Gets hooked in an infinite loading loop and i have to ctrl-alt-delete to exit the game. Done it 4 times with no success. Help guys!! Any ideas? EDIT: I can start a new game! I can load older saves...but NOT my last save!! Very Odd! -
Just an idea...Why don't you delete all files/folders (inc. SUM.esp) that FNIS & SUM have produced and re-run the 2 utilities?Apart from the "Overwrite" folder in MO there is also a Skyproc folder where your savegame folder is (...user/My documents/My games/Skyrim). Delete that folder too.
