  1. I noticed this mod was updated in January, and has a new Mesh Pack option "Vampire Beast Blood Ring Left Hand" mod by jjeeff185. I assume this is not covered in STEP, and updated the FOMOD Instructions accordingly. The FOMOD template is easy to use, so long as I'm only adding to an established table!
  2. I just had the same daunting thought when I saw that massive list of "extended mods". Could we add something along the lines of: Conversions of other mods (the following apply to STEP:Core. Select anything else applicable if using an extended list of mods not recommended by STEP)aMidianBorn Skyforge Weapons by CaBal and EmeraldReignI know it makes sense once you know, but on my first read-through of the guide, I assumed there may be other mods in this list from STEP: Extended, but now I realise they would probably be listed here if that were the case. The problem is, I just had to spend 30+ minutes reading this thread to double check. That may have something to do with it being 6am, BUT, 2 people thinking the same thing means it is not a coincidence.
  3. One thing I noticed around the wiki is a lot of dead forum links. For example there is a link maintaining and creating new supporting content, which I am assuming is meant to link to the Wiki editors to-do list? Is there any easy way to find where these links were meant to point, or is a matter of just updating the link to whatever seems the best match?
  4. EDIT: Post moved to a more suitable thread, with less rambling (despite the fact that I've now been up for over 24 hours).
  5. The wiki for RW2 has a loot rule: Meta Rule Instructions RealisticWaterTwo.esp Load after: HearthfireChimneys.espSDO Full-LOD - Waterfall Effects.espbut "Hearthfire Chimneys" actually seems to be called Farmhouse Chimneys, and the esp is FarmhouseChimneys.esp I can update the RW2 loot rule, but can somebody edit the STEP 2.2.9 page to reflect the correct name, or tell me I'm wrong?
  6. Thanks for clarifying. Is there a place to discuss/get permission for the removal of things like this?
  7. Not sure if something has changed in the last 12 months (possibly the change to MO), or if I've just missed something, but is there a need for the BCF at all anymore? When I download and install the mod, it automatically opens up the installer and provides me with the options listed. I get the feeling this page just hasn't been updated in a while, as it also links to a forum post that no longer exists. And this ^^^ sounds like something that needed to be done before MO. Sorry for the noob questions, but I'm a newcomer to STEP, and once I get a proper handle on all this, I'll be able to help clean up the artifacts left behind from old versions of STEP.
  8. Thanks for the clarification. So it's ok for the official DLCs? I did notice LOOT doesn't spit out a warning once they've been cleaned, despite the leftover undeleted navmeshes. Since it's a known and widespread thing, I would assume nobody makes mods that use those meshes?
  9. The exact same error has been popping up for over 2 years when cleaning Dawnguard using TES5Edit, so I'm guessing it's not a problem.
  10. Ahhh yes, of course. That page can only be found through an obscure link at the top of the "Detailed instructions" page, and considering it seems to be a fairly common issue, during one of the first steps, I just think it could be a little easier to find. For this reason, I added a line: # Click the ''globe'' icon [[File:globe MO.png]] in the toolbar. This allows MO to download mods when the ''Download with Manager'' button is clicked on the Nexus. #* If you are having problems with this step, take a look at the [[Guide:Mod_Organizer#Troubleshooting|MO Troubleshooting Guide]] to the Detailed Instructions page. Hopefully this will make the whole process 0.1% more user friendly, I know it would have saved me quite a bit of time and frustration.
  11. I signed up for the forums just so I could express my undying gratitude for this thorough step by step guide to fixing the issue. Some/all of this needs to be added to the STEP MO guide, or the tutorial, or automated if possible. I could not get through the MO tutorial without getting MO to download a mod from Nexus, but I did not want to skip it. Thank you so very much W, you are a gentleman and a scholar.
